The guys showed up on time and got right to work. They completed the job in a couple of hours and cleaned up their work. I would recommend PROTECT-A-CHILD POOL FENCE SYSTEMS and would use their services again.

    Solar Safe Pool Covers
The two-man crew showed up on time the day the work was scheduled to occur. Both were quiet and professional as they worked. They completed the job on time (took over 5 hours to do) and had no mess left to clean up. The operation, care and maintenance considerations of the cover were well explained to us by the crew and answered all our questions. I expect the cover to last 8 to 10 years and pay for itself in electrical and water savings, as well as being the safest pool cover to own. It also will allow me to shut down the pool for long lengths of time, saving a lot of maintenance time for me.

    Arizona Pool Fence
We had a great experience with Arizona Pool Fence. They were upfront on the phone about price when I called to inquire initially and they were able to schedule an in home estimate fairly quickly. The fence install was 2 weeks out from once I called to schedule, I wish it could have been sooner but all fence companies were 2-3 weeks out so it was expected and can't fault them on it. On the day of install the installer was early to the house, he went over the plan with me and got to work. After measuring the holes he gave me two options for the gate location which he didn't have to do but I'm happy he went out of his way to ask. I was amazed at how fast he worked, he installed approximately 70 feet of fencing in 6 hours or so (that included five 90 degree angles). He cleaned up once he was done, went over all the specs of the fence, gave me all the information I needed and was on his way. The fence looks great and I'm super happy we went with this company. Would definitely recommend them. I've attached a photo (ignore our dead grass and dirty yard) - we went with 5' brown/brown. It looks so much better in person as it's hard to get the whole fence in a single photo.

    DCS Pool Barriers LLC
They were the best price as bid.  Both the estimator and installation crew arrived on time, were pleasant and professional.  The y got to work and continued steadily for the 5 1/2 hour installation minus a 20 minute break at the midway point.  The fit and finish were excellent and they added "dog tabs" at the bottom of the gates to keep my large dogs from pushing through and damaging the gate. The material was good sturdy bar stock, the bar welds were smooth and even as were the onsite securing welds.

A very special thanks to Art and his helper.  They were pleasant, professional and efficient.  I would hire DCS again and I strongly recommend them for your pool barrier needs.

A+++ service. Marty is a friendly and knowledgeable person who as been doing this for decades. He is a one-man operation; the guy you talk to on the phone is the guy who does the estimate and the full installation. He performed a free estimate and installed the fence the next week. He arrived promptly for both the estimate and the installation. Install took about 2.5 hours for 90 feet of fence. Final product is solid and also has a few innovations that Marty came up with himself. I would highly recommend Protect-A-Child to anyone looking for a relatively low-cost alternative to steel or iron pool fencing. Marty charges a flat fee of either $13/ft for aluminum, or $15/ft for fiberglass. Any other fees, taxes, and labor are already worked into that cost, so you know how much you'll be paying based on the estimated length of fence you require. I only needed about 90 feet, so I decided to spend the additional $180 and get fiberglass instead of aluminum. The installation requires drilling into the deck; Marty uses professional equipment for this. Each hole is sleeved with plastic, and the fence poles go in. The tolerances are very tight, so this coupled with the tension from the mesh means you can't simply lift the poles out. You have to apply pressure in a certain direction in order to get them out. This is perfectly fine for an adult, but makes it virtually impossible for a small child to remove them. Each section of fencing consists of 4 or 5 (can't remember) panels. Sections are held together by a toggle bolt. Again, an adult can manipulate this locking mechanism just fine, but a child would need three or four hands to get it to unlatch. I had Marty set up my fence so that one set of poles that latch together is directly in front of the pool stairs, so that it acts as an entrance to the pool. Good for when you just want to take a dip. However, you can simply remove the entire pool fence in a few minutes if you choose to do so - good for when you have a party.

I contacted Marty after reading all the exemplary reviews about his company on Angie's List. I called and spoke with him directly. We made arrangements for him to come out the following week to give an estimate and possibly start work. On the morning of the appointment, he arrived very punctually. He presented his product in a very straightforward, professional manner, no hard selling. He clearly explained the different options that were available, how the fence worked and why it was superior to other pool fences. I agreed to have him install the fence.
He gave me an estimated time of about four hours to complete the work, which turned out to be almost exactly the amount of time it actually took. The end result was a sturdy, yet very attractive fence with a self-latching gate that's given me peace of mind when it comes to my five-year-old  son's safety around the pool.
If you're looking to install a pool fence, I highly recommend Marty to do the job. You'll be glad you did!

Everything went well, from our initial phone inquiry, to Marty's visit to our home to give us an estimate, to the installation and to our use and enjoyment of the fence. We don't have any children, but we wanted a fence that would keep small critters such as lizards and rabbits from running into our pool -- and keep leaves and other debris from blowing in at ground level. This fence works remarkably well in those regards. The mesh fits snugly to the pool deck; I had worried that there might be a gap of an inch or 2. I also had worried that drilling post holes might cause some cracking in our newly refinished deck, but that was a needless worry. The holes were cut cleanly with a machine that Marty uses, and his measurements for the posts and holes were perfect. There are a couple of steps that lead up to the attached spa, but the fence rises to follow the steps and looks good. We couldn't be happier with our pool fence.

About Marty and his product - we couldn't be more thrilled.  I never would have guessed so much consideration would go in to picking the right color fence (I now know black is the ONLY way to go) and more importantly, how to lay out the fence to maximize usability of our backyard both in and outside of the fence perimeter.  Marty helped us consider our options and weight the pros and cons.  What we ended up with is a layout that suits our needs perfectly!
I have to admit that I was NOT looking forward to installing the fence and detracting from our beautiful backyard.  But Marty promised that with a black fence I would look right through it and it would seemingly disappear.  He was absolutely right.  I can see through the window, through the fence, all the way to the bottom of our pool.  I can enjoy our landscaping from one end of the pool to the other, even looking through two layers of pool fence.
Of course safety for our infant, soon to be toddler, is paramount.  Having this safety feature which barely detracts from the beauty of our backyard is a win-win.
I am SO glad we chose Marty.  He is a great person, offers a great product, and provides an outstanding value.
I simply cannot recommend Protect-A-Child highly enough!

Overall Marty was very easy to work with.  He was quick with his communication, honest about the product and his competition and knowledgeable about the industry.  We scheduled the install for the 7th prior to moving into our home and the work was done within a few hours.  Overall great experience.

We had purchased a pool fence that had been installed at another location.  That owner didn't need the fencing anymore and we called several companies prior to buying this fence to see if they would do the installation without us purchasing new fence from them.  The only company we found that would do this was Protect-A-Child Pool Fence Systems.
Michael was quite knowledgeable and very much concerned that if we had small children living with us, we have protection for them with the pool at the property we were renting.  He advised us in the type of fence to look for - and the condition - of any used fence we bought.  This helped immensely when we did buy the fencing.  He scheduled a day and time to come install the fence, showed up to give an estimate and was prompt for the scheduled installation time.
Overall, we could not be happier, and when we were done with the fence and were (also) selling it on Craig's list, we recommended Michael to each person who was interested in the fencing.  We wanted to be sure that they also would have the best installation possible.
