  • Provider name locked. gives you personalized service. He has a smaller shop, so he only schedules when he is able to actually work on your vehicle. The end results left our truck looking new. I would not hesitate to work with him again.

  • My 2005 Toyota 4Runner was always parked in the sun, and the paint was shot. No major body damage, but the hood, roof, and all plastic pieces looked terrible. I was embarrassed to drive it. It was either repaint or replace the vehicle. I got quotes of well over $6,000 for a total repaint, and then looked on Angieslist and found Provider name locked. . Provider name locked. was incredibly helpful and spent time explaining what they would do and answering my questions. I watched them repaint a 4Runner of my same vintage and was impressed with the work. I figured that a repaint would cost about the same as 5 months of payments on a new 4Runner, and since my truck was in great mechanical shape, I'd rather do the repaint. They stripped the car of all the removable pieces the first day and it moved quickly from there, even with bad weather. I got the car back within about 10 days totally repainted. I'm thrilled with my truck again--it's a huge difference.
The car looks great. It's beautiful. The paint is mirror shiny, way shinier than it was from the factory.
Essentially NO overspray! The taping they did was excellent, with only the tiniest Provider name locked. of paint on a few gaskets, easily cleaned off.
The paint matches the original paint (inside the doors, etc) perfectly. I can't see where one stops and the other begins.
Everything that needed repainting was repainted (roof rack, etc).
Not a cheap M**co job. They use a top quality water base paint. Most of the hobbyist car painting forums I researched said something like, "if you can afford it, use this paint system, but it is expensive."
They stripped the vehicle of more parts more than I thought possible, removing all lights, mirrors, the rear wind deflector, roof rack, emblems, moldings, door handles, window gaskets, pretty much anything that could be removed.
They clear coated the headlights, so the lens is not supposed to ever become cloudy or yellow again.
I get compliments all the time about how nice it looks.
Provider name locked. and Provider name locked. were easy to work with. They have a passion for their business. They worked with me to ensure a high quality job--they dealt with my concerns and questions and my interest in the process.
I'm really particular, and it's not perfect--you have to have reasonable expectations before you start. I would call overall quality an A minus.
That being said, it's as good a paint job overall as any I've ever had, and better than most.
The paint is so mirror shiny that all imperfections in the body show up (even those from the factory that I'd never noticed before).
Most of the body work was excellent--I can't even remember where the assorted dings and dents were, but one Provider name locked. still is visible and drives me nuts--it probably wouldn't have been visible on the original paint job, but the mirror smooth finish makes it jump out at me in the right light. I try not to look at it.
There are some minor flaws here and there, but again, I'm really attentive to detail. No one else really notices them.
It kind of seems like the plastic body side moldings were reattached with bubble gum and tape. I've had it in once for loose pieces and found another one this weekend. This may be due to aftermarket clips that just don't fit as well as the original ones (and OEM clips were expensive! The dealer wanted over $300 just for all the little clips). Provider name locked. had recommended leaving the body moldings on, but since the first place the paint went bad was on the moldings, I wanted them removed and coated well.
I was not happy with the detail. I had to have the car redetailed to fix it. Armorall was slathered on the plastic and not wiped off, it had a chemical smell that didn't dissipate even after leaving the windows down, crumbs and gunk remained in lots of crevices, and the carpeting looked worse than when I took it in.
Summary: Would I use them again for a total repaint? Absolutely. The car just gleams. Now that my detailer worked on the interior and under the hood, it looks like a new car inside and out. I absolutely love it again. If you have a good older car with fading paint and peeling clear coat, I'd consider having Provider name locked. repaint it rather than replacing it. I see cars with bad paint, and I want to tell them to go to Provider name locked. . It's so nice having fresh paint.
Other thoughts: I replaced parts that were damaged beyond easy repair or just really weathered and ugly. My grille was not only faded and ugly, it had cracks where it was bolted in. Provider name locked. said they could repair and repaint it, but I was able to buy an aftermarket grille that is chromed and brand new and beautiful for only $80.00. The rear bumper skin was gashed and weathered. Again, Provider name locked. said he could fix it and repaint it and dye the plastic black again, but I was able to buy a brand new OEM part from the dealer for only $80. This allowed Provider name locked. to focus on the rest of the car, and these parts are now shiny and perfect for a minimal amount extra. Well worth it to me. It might be prohibitively expensive to buy new parts on some cars, but it wasn't bad on mine, and they look so much better than the original.
And  take pictures before repainting. When you go to sell it, it might raise a red flag if your car was repainted. I wish I'd documented that the only reason I repainted was because of the worn out original paint.
Also, the original silver accent paint on the bumpers never looked right to me with the burgundy of the truck. Although Provider name locked. swears it is the same color as original, I swear it is a warmer silver, and it looks way better to me than it did originally (maybe the factory color was off just a bit from what it was supposed to be).  If you've got some small areas of accent paint that you don't like, you might talk with Provider name locked. about changing the color just a bit, or let Provider name locked. recommend a new color. I never thought of changing it, but I like it a lot better now.
Provider name locked. and Provider name locked. -Thanks so much! I enjoy driving my truck again. Great work! I'm hoping I get another several years of pleasure out of it thanks to your efforts.
