Sample Warranty Companies Reviews

"First rate job! Our heat gave out while we were gone; came back Sunday to a cold house. Called
Philadelphia Warranty Companies Provider Name Locked
first thing Monday morning and I had someone to look at it before noon (ahead of schedule!) The unit was beyond economical repair (19 years old too), By 3PM I had an estimator here who went over all my options. There was zero pressure to buy an expensive model; in fact, after asking some questions about how long we intended to keep the house etc., he recommended one of the less expensive ones. I was worried it would take awhile to get it installed (another cold snap was coming in two days) but the crew was back promptly at 8AM the next morning (as scheduled). Efficient, fast work with attention to detail! Everything works as advertised, and they left no mess inside or out.

If you're looking for quality AC/heating work at reasonable price, and great service, this is who to call in the Pensacola area. They offer military discount too.
"On 1/13, my husband stayed home from work that morning to wait for the
Philadelphia Warranty Companies Provider Name Locked
service tech. he even called
Philadelphia Warranty Companies Provider Name Locked
service to get an estimated time frame. the original appointment was for 8am-12pm. The
Philadelphia Warranty Companies Provider Name Locked
dispatcher told him the tech was running late and would call him between 1100-1130 with an update. My husband waited until 12:30 - no phone call and no tech. He had to get to work so he left. I called AHS to complain.
All they could do was offer to reschedule with another sub-contractor at a later date. Since I had already been without a refrigerator for a week, I was annoyed and requested some kind of compensation for the wasted time off from work. They said that was
Philadelphia Warranty Companies Provider Name Locked
' fault and there was nothing they could do. Really? If I hire a contractor to build a bathroom and his plumber doesn't show up, I have to go after the sub-contracting plumber myself, even though I'm paying the contractor to manage the project? I don't think so.
Anyway, I requested that they cancel any service calls with
Philadelphia Warranty Companies Provider Name Locked
or the other sub, and that they close my account and refund my last payment. They transferred me to the cancellation department, which of course had a wait time of 18 minutes. Since I had already been on the phone with them for over an hour (including the 37 minutes hold time just to get a person on the line) and I was at work, I hung up.
Today, while at work, I get a voice mail from the
Philadelphia Warranty Companies Provider Name Locked
tech, saying he is waiting at my door. Considering two days ago, I told AHS to cancel all service calls, it's obvious they don't communicate well with their subs either. That evening I tried calling AHS again, but hung up after waiting 20 minutes for someone in the billing department to take the call. so, I used their website's contact form to send an account cancellation request. Since there was no confirmation that popped up after I hit the submit button, I don't even know if the email went through. Even their website is a mess. I will never use or recommend AHS or any other Servicemaster company based on this experience.

"The company uses hard sell techniques, and of the five interactions I have had, seems to adopt a rather patronizing
Philadelphia Warranty Companies Provider Name Locked
. After calling to cancel within the 30 day window, I was informed that I needed to fill out a cancellation form, which they could only send me by mail. I was worried that this would not arrive in time to keep to the 30 day window, but was informed They would only send by mail (no email, no online form to download, no form or clarification in the policy). No form arrived, and 10 days later, I called ( left message), and wrote several emails, responding to two emails they sent me when I initially signed up. I repeated this a few days later after no response. I finally received a call on
Philadelphia Warranty Companies Provider Name Locked
6, 5 min before they were closing (so they informed me), asking 'how they could help'. I have now been informed that I am beyond the 30 day window, the cancellation form isn't a form but a letter that needs to be written, but they send a form as a courtesy that 'clarifies and further explains' the verbiage in the contract, and provides further explanation on what they require from you to cancel. And, there is now a surcharge to cancel, in addition to requiring notorized verification on information when I have never submitted a claim, and have cancelled the policy. I am still seeking a refund, but highly recommend BUYER BEWARE!!!!
Philadelphia Warranty Companies Provider Name Locked
(AHS) claims that they will cover your appliances in the event that they stop working by having the appliance replaced or repaired. However, after three attempts to have our washer repaired by
Philadelphia Warranty Companies Provider Name Locked
it still leaked and, of course, AHS would not replace it. We do not think that they have any intent of replacing any appliances but of only collecting the premiums from the poor suckers who pay for their policies. After many complaints and several years of paying monthly premiums we finally were promised to receive $198.00 (after paying $75.00 to
Philadelphia Warranty Companies Provider Name Locked
) towards the cost of our new washer. My wife and I finally gave up and just went out and bought another washer as we were not going to wait another two weeks for AHS to help us. We did however file a complaint with the Maryland Insurance Commission and are making every attempt to warn others to stay away from this company. We never received a call back from the customer service supervisor and had to make many angry phone calls before they finally agreed to send us partial payment. This company should be investigated by regulatory authorities and called out for the way they treat their policy holders.
"I purchased an ASC (Auto Services Company, Inc.) warranty plan for $1000 along with a high mileage used vehicle in May of 2012. The deluxe warranty plan covered virtually everything for 36 months or 36,000 miles, which ever occurred first.
I felt like it was cheap insurance for a car that already had 95,000 miles on it at thetime of purchase....more /> I read in the print of the warranty that in order for it to remain
Philadelphia Warranty Companies Provider Name Locked
, all proper and regular maintenance had to be performed, so we had the oil changed every 3000 miles.
Turns out that this was a good buy because the engine recently came apart internally (thrown connecting rod). ASC asked me to provide my maintenace records, which i did, and they worked with my mechanic (All Star Japanese Engines) to get a good quality replacement engine and install it in the car.
It took a week for the engine to be delivered and two days later, the car is back in great running condition.
The remainder of the warranty is also still valid until the original terms expire.
I don't know if the warranty company negotiated a deal with the mechanic, but my copy of his ticket, paid by ASC was for approximately $4750.00, which is at or over the
Philadelphia Warranty Companies Provider Name Locked
value of this vehicle.
I was told to expect all sorts of trouble and excuses regarding trying to make a claim such as this
Philadelphia Warranty Companies Provider Name Locked
warranty work, but my experience with ASC has not been bad at all, and I will use them again next time i need an extended or used car warranty service plan.
"I have yet to receive a call from the vendor or a supervisor as requested. AHS refuses to ensure that the purchased services are provided to me.
"AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Explanation below.
Not only will they do everything to deny your claim, they hide behind a clause in their contract and, now let me bold this:
I am not kidding. They will charge you, deny your claim, then gleefully tell you on the phone that you aren't even allowed to request your money back.
I asked the woman I spoke to on the phone, point
Philadelphia Warranty Companies Provider Name Locked
, is that they charged me knowing with certainty (and without warning) that they knew I had no way of requesting my money back, and she said "Absolutely".
When I told her I was intending to post these negative reviews she said, and I'm still quoting.
"Okay sir, Have a nice day."
Oh, and by the way, the local HSA sales office originally offered us nearly 400$ towards our repair to keep us a satisfied customer. Sounds pretty fair, right?
Unfortunately, they later called us stating that they would not only pay the money towards our repair, but they would not even give us their contact information! They wouldn't even speak to us about it!
This company is a sham, and the whole point is to charge you money with no intention of assisting you with any kind of repair or service.
Do what my plumber recommended when I told him about this situation. Save your money for repairs our of pocket, because HSA has no intention of ever assisting you with anything.
Side note: I didn't even bother to mention how their reps will yell, argue, and in one case, even curse at you when you're on the phone with them. I even heard the voice on the other end of the phone from across the room when my partner called.
This is the worst example of customer service I've ever experienced.
Philadelphia Warranty Companies Provider Name Locked
is not just for E-bay, I have bought for home appliance's, electronics, etc. cost and service provided is better (so far) than what the stores sell. i.e., Apple, AT&T, Lowes,....
"We didn't use this company. We cancelled our contract because they don't know car pricing of parts/labor/service.
Bad experience.
Would not recommend to any person.
They stated over phone when we were looking for an extended warranty on our vehicle that all parts/labor and service would be covered bumper-to-bumper...
"This compnay did minor repairs when needed, usually taking a loing time. When the motor of an old A/c went out, did not cover it saying I had not cleaned the coil recently enough. They had been there several times for smaller A/c problems and never said I needed to clean the coil or anything else. Then the other A/c Broke, and I had just had the coil cleaned, they said I needed to have done something else as well for maintainance. I don't even remenmber what it was, but cleaning another part of the air handleer. They just wanted to sell a new unit!
I had different repair man fixi t, and he said that was not the problem that hte motor had just warn out over time. IT was over 10 years old, and it broke. I am sure if I got an attorney and sued them I would have won, but they count on you not doing that.
The A/c Guy I used through them who made this diagnosis was friendly home services. I'd never use either of these compnaie again.
