Remodeling Kitchen And Bath reviews in Philadelphia

We had Mr. Contractor repair a joist in our kitchen ceiling plus add a few lights and dry wall a 20 x 20 ceiling. Went with them because they had good reviews online and because they are a local family owned business. Working with Lonnie was awesome. Friendly and up-front through the entire process from quotes, through scheduling, and through the entire construction time. Quote was accurate and was very clear about costs associated for a few additional services we had done (plumbing fixes and floor repairs) Project was finished in 4 days like we talked about. Contractor crew was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Will definitely have Lonnie and Mr. Contractor back to work on our house.

Leo is in over hid head but his ego can't accept. He thinks he has brilliant ideas and will change 'your' plans because HE thinks it looks better - like putting laminate flooring on the ceiling room a bathroom. Looks great, right? Except - it's in the bathroom where steam from the shower will delaminate within a year. But he thought it looked great so put in there on his own. AND charged me for it. His work is sub-par especially where any corners meet (walls, floors) come together. He does not know how to get anything to completion, and doesn't believe he does anything wrong which means when he makes a mistake (and he and his untrained people make many) he will not apologize or otherwise take responsibility, he makes you pay for their mistakes. He has no project mgmt skills. The promised completion took 3 times as long. When he thinks you're gonna let him do everything his way, he's easy to get along with. As soon as you tell him you're paying the bills and he is accountable, his ego drives out professionalism. he will not apologize, he does not make amends, he just charges you more for having to fix HIS or his people's mistakes. Keep poor accounting and records. Communication and professionalism are very poor.

If there is a lower rating than "F", it would be more appropriate. Hired this crew to re-do 2 bathrooms. They said it would take 4 days, meanwhile 6 weeks later the job was not even completed, had to hire a plumber to come in and fix the mistakes. Then, upon home inspection, the poor work cost me thousands in credits to be redone. See for yourself, here is the words right from the inspector. 1. A Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (G.F.C.I.) at the hall bath was not properly operational. 2. The stacked stone at the bath tub and sink walls is not sealed between the stones and vulnerable to water entering the walls behind it. This material is normally not recommended for bathroom walls. 3. Movement was observed at a few of the bathroom floor tiles. The flooring appears to be improperly installed. Allow for repair or replacement. 4. The bathroom floor tile was improperly installed, the grout lines are busting and the tiles are loose. The vanity is chipped and missing the shelves. Also, Stacked stone tile was used in the shower. Stacked stone can not be sealed from water and is not intended for that use. Overall the bathroom was poorly done and needs a redo.

Great workmanship and quality outcome. Job supervision and communication with client excellent. Very helpful design suggestions on patio materials and layout and materials for powder room. I particularly appreciated their openness to take on new tasks as the projects unfolded that were not part of the original scope of work including installing new storm doors, bedroom fans, and successfully replacing cracked terracotta floor tiles that floor restoration firms would not touch. Billing was predictable and as agreed upon--no surprises. Exceptionally personable and trustworthy. I would highly recommend.

Did not have work done by girlcontracting but we did bid them but pursued a contractor through our designer. Have never met a more professional individual in the contracting business. Lynette was sincere, kind, informative and polite. I even called her directly to ask her about a problem we ran into and she proposed a few solutions. Will definitely consider for future projects.

Kenny and his team were great to work with. Any time we had any questions, they were quick to respond, and make sure everything was done exactly as we wished. We are very happy with how our kitchen and dining room looks now. If you are planning on remodeling your home, Mr. Contractor is a great company to choose to help make that process go well.

The guys came out and went over the price and materials. They completed the whole job within a week. I discovered a problem with the dishwasher installation some months later. They came out and fixed it promptly. I think I ended up paying a lot but it was well worth it in view of the fact there was no frustration, no delays and no big problems.

I’m very satisfied with Good Deal Remodeling. I needed a full overhaul, including a tub to shower conversion, new fixtures, tile, floor, etc. Bogdan and Nicolae came to look at the bathroom on a Thursday morning. We discussed my ideas and explored different options for the layout, aesthetics, materials, etc. They provided me with a clear explanation of costs associated with each option. Following our meeting, I immediately knew they were the best fit for the job. The contract was signed on Friday and the guys were there bright and early Monday morning to start the work. I was kept in the loop through each step of the project and was consulted when any stylistic decisions were needed. The project was completed in only 3.5 days and I’m very pleased with the quality of work, materials and overall look. I highly recommend Good Deal. They were extremely responsive and transparent from start to finish. Even after the job was completed, I texted Bogdan with a couple questions and he responded within minutes. The price was very reasonable and never once was there even a mention of a hidden fee or upcharge. Bogdan and Nicolae did very nice work, were respectful of my home and my time and were efficient and professional. I would absolutely work with Good Deal again on potential future projects. Thank you guys!

I got the bathroom I always wanted! Simply the Best Kitchen & Bath (John and Jordan and their crew) were fantastic to work with. Very responsive and the work was done well and efficiently. My bathroom is small (5ft x 8ft rectangle) and I had to keep the same footprint (nowhere to expand) and they were able to work with that with no problems. It now looks fantastic and I am very pleased with my new bathroom. I would hire them again in a heartbeat!
