  • The Job was supposed to start in December.  But they delayed it over, and over, and over again.  Job did not start until late March.  It was supposed to be a two or three day job.  It turned into a job that took four working days, but it took them almost four weeks to complete it.
Provider name locked. uses sales people to write contracts, and they promise you a great warranty and great coverage in case something goes wrong on the job.  Then they subcontract out the job to other people, and you have no control over whom.  And in my case the subcontractor ended up subcontracting the job out again to a third company.  It turns out that I paid $7800, and the company that actually did the work only got paid a mere $1600.  Granted Provider name locked. paid for the insurance and the materials, etc.  But still...  Turns out the company that actually did the work, as their representative told me, was supposed to be paid $2400, but they were only paid $1600 because they were told that I did not pay in full, which was not the case.  I unfortunately did pay in full.
Long story short, the workers left my roof drain pipe disconnected which caused a large flood in my basement that still hasn't been resolved.  They also failed to install several of the elements which had been in my contract such as the window wraps and the furring that should have been used to secure the siding to the stucco.  Further they did not properly flash the corner of the siding.
The installation service manager sends my calls straight to voicemail, and does not return them anymore.  The people at the 800 number tell me someone will call me back by the end of the day, and no one ever does.  And I have had lots of promises for someone to return to my house to fix the problems, but so far all I have had is lots of staying home from work and waiting in vain for scheduled workers to not show up...

  • As friendly as a friendly neighborhood hardware store can get. You can't hide for 5 seconds without someone asking you if you can help them - and the kicker is that they actually know what they're talking about, unlike the big box stores. Provider name locked. may very well be the friendliest guy on the planet. I really don't enjoy shopping ANYWHERE, but I always look forward to making a Provider name locked. 's run.

  • my architect had recommended Provider name locked. but i don't think he really ever used them. Provider name locked. has a complete and impressive selection of hardware; i believe it might be apart of ace hardware. Provider name locked. who helped me was very knowledgeable with all the items that they carried. i ordered high end hardware for 3 porch doors with a total invoice of $1200. parts were to come in about 3 weeks later. they dribbled in at 4 months later on top of the 3 weeks. i was very upset at the beginning when i heard that they would be delayed bc i had contractors on a schedule and Provider name locked. was intolerant and made me feel that i was being unreasonable. for such a big store, there is apparently one guy who handles all the customers and the ordering. to be honest, i believe that he had just forgotten to place the order on some of the parts. i found him helpful at first when trying to get my order then the customer service went out the window after i had given the 50% deposit. i felt i was held hostage. their system of billing is so complicated that when i switched out some misc items like a smaller Provider name locked. for the next size up and also some latches, etc, the final bill was at 1600??? their statements were just too confusing. even when Provider name locked. and i tried to figure it out, he was confused. the whole experience was very dreadful and frustrating. i should have also checked the better business bureau before doing business bc they had an F rating.
