  • He is wonderful, and I love my doctor. They take care of me, and do not lie to me. I get treated for diabetes and high blood pressure. He treats me as needed. He sits there and talks with you. He does not try to rush you out of the room. I have been going many years, and he shows that he generally cares about me.

  • He didn't talk to me after the exam. He had the nurse call. Even after I asked her a lot of questions, she had to go back to the doctor to answer my questions. So, I just wasn't happy with the feedback afterwards.

  • My first visit (sort of orientation if you will) was in early September.  Because Dr. Clarke and the practice are quite popular, the initial (non-urgent) appointment was scheduled about 6 weeks from my initial contact (this is normal for a good provider).  After a positive first time experience, I arranged my annual check-up / physical for a few weeks later and returned.  Now, as a current patient, same day and next day appointments are available
On both visits, I was welcomed promptly at my scheduled appointment time with almost NO WAIT at all from the time of arrival, to check-in to my actual visit with Dr. Clarke.  The staff and assistants are friendly and function to get their tasks done.  Dr.  Clarke herself was exactly as the staff person described ? great bedside manner, listens well and looks at all forms of care before considering any prescription drugs. I was very pleased (obviously, since I immediately booked my 2nd visit).  I believe all the doctors would be a positive experience, so don?t be afraid to call ahead (if you?ve never been there before) and explain what kind of doctor would best meet your needs.
One of the most noticeable differences is this office is still INDEPENDENT of the major healthcare ?systems?.  It?s the way  healthcare was and needs to be again ? focused on the patient and doctor, not the profit goals of the ?system? which makes money by ordering up services and drugs above and beyond what you need.  While my visits were not for a specific medical condition, I would trust that if care was needed it would be in my best interest.
For this reason and my experience with Dr. Clarke, I would recommend you run not walk to this office for your care if you are not satisfied with your current provider (or if you need a doctor as I did moving to the area).
This is an old office (in an old Philadelphia home); not a modern (i.e. expensive) building with costly spaces, chairs or HDTV?s hanging around the waiting room.  However, the tools used for service are UP-TO-DATE (such as use of laptops for recording
your visit notes).  From my two visits, the patients are a mix of younger (20 something folks) right up to senior citizens, and a mix of working class people.
Truly if there is such a thing as an Independent Small Business doctor office, this is it.  If you want to pay the cost for all the fancy glam and glitter in the office space / waiting room, than this may not be a fit for you.  But if you want a caring staff focused on your actual healthcare that communicates with you, this is the place for you.  And for an added bonus, they take your blood on location and ship it to the testing center in your healthcare plan (unlike other offices that require you go to another site for blood draw).

  • I go to their internal medicine department. I'm very happy there because I had a had time finding a place for primary care. I like them so far. Her bedside and chair side manner is wonderful. The staff is friendly and helpful. Sometimes it's hard to reach them on the phone but once you do, they're very helpful. I don't mind waiting either. The atmosphere there is very professional. They care about people and I feel like they work to get you in for an appointment as soon as they can. I haven't been going there very long but I have no problems there.

  • Their services are excellent. My doctor has a wonderful bedside manner. My doctor will call back if you call him and he has a particular time to call you back and he will. Their communication is excellent. Their office environment is very nice, they had their office re-done so they it's excellent.

  • It's going great,   we really look forward to our monthly appointments.   Can you imagine looking forward to going to the doctors??  He is so thorough and takes tons of blood tests (covered by insurance) to figure out the root cause of the condition,  rather than just treating the symptoms with a bandaid.   He is also very informed about nutrition and supplements,  and I no longer self-medicate with vitamins,  because my blood work tells him what I need or don't need.   I was taking vitamins for years anyway,  and now I'm taking the right ones.

  • I looked them up online and I just made an appointment. I was very happy with them. They're very caring. They listen and have a lot of understanding about any questions that I had and were willing to work with me on various issues. They're very friendly. I give them A on every category. I was really pleased with their practice.

  • I went in for a general physical exam and OBGYN. Dr. Evans is fantastic and I like her. There was not a long wait and the office waiting room is small and clean. It was not busy and I was there first thing in the morning.

  • I have been going there for about 25 years and I have been satisfied with them.  They are very responsive, very professional and very convenient.  They have very good hours.  They are very flexible.  I can usually get in the same day.  The staff and the office environment are both good.

  • Great Dr. She doen't rush appt times and listens. She is a bit opinionated on eating organically, which may come off a bit strong, but she has her patients in her best interest. Very friendly. Will use her again, for sure
