Courier reviews in Philadelphia

  • I was trying to ask about the size of box that was appropriate to the salesperson. There was another customer talking to a different worker, and my salesperson was more interested in their conversation than tending to my needs. I don't feel she was as helpful or engaged as she could have been. I thought the price was outrageous. I'll never go back to that store.

  • I hired TimeCycle to bring something to my vet and pick up a prescription for me while there. The courier was on time, really a nice guy and had the whole swap done in no time. The person on the phone couldn't have been any better either when I was setting up the appointment. If you need a courier service, this is the one to call... there's a reason they have such good reviews elsewhere on the web.
As an aside, these are bicycle messengers and look like bicycle messengers, so don't judge this book by its cover; judge it by its service. Its very good service.

  • I was so impressed with the service it was such a great experience. The two men that came were extremely polite. I had previously called two other service Good will and the Salvation army. Who would not take the furniture i had because of the size. I was donating furniture. My service with this company was wonderful, the came on time Nd moved the furniture out with no complaints . Thank you so much.

  • Ordering was easy on the website. We got to select a 2-hour time period in which the grocery items were to be delivered. We chose 10-noon. We saw a truck pull up about 9:45 and park in front of a neighbor's garage. My husband went out and told the delivery person he could do the delivery now. The gentleman was thankful, then he asked us where we wanted the food to be delivered. When we asked if he would deliver to the 2nd floor he gladly said yes.
The truck is refrigerated. This is good, because we ordered multiple proteins: 2 lobsters, 2 steaks, and some chicken cutlets. They were all very fresh. Same for the veggies we ordered. We'll definitely order from Fresh Direct again!

  • I made an appointment which had to be rescheduled . Lost a day of work. I rescheduled the delivery and took another day off or work.  The day before the delivery was to be amde, I received 3 conformation emails, 1 conformation text, and a conformation phone call(stating an incorrect delivery time,7-11)with a message on my answering machine. I called Manna to verify delivery and make sure we had the correct delivery time(12-4). Delivery time corrected, "shipment will be there tomorrow".  At 9:35 pm( the night before delivery) I received a call from Manna , saying they had to reschedule AGAIN(would be 3rd time rescheduling), because , Manna couldn't find the shipment. The woman I was speaking to from Manna , put the order on hold until they could verify shipment date.I asked when that would be and she wasn't sure.  Once tthe shipment was found, , Manna would call to reschedule.
.I had asked to speak to a manager , but a manager was "not in". To the woman's credit , we were on the phone for a good 1/2 hr. and she did try to find the "shipment". She put the delivery "on hold", until the "shipment " could be found . When Manna had my Dining set they would call and then we could  reschedule , once again. I decided to go into work, since the "shipment was on hold".
On my way out the door, on my way to work, at 8:30am, the  delivery truck arrived w/ my "shipment".

  • Fresh Direct has a current special that they won't charge for delivery for new questions. You shop online for groceries and then they deliver it to your door, between 6:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. It was fairly easy to choose your groceries on the website. It saves your list and when you reorder, you can look at your list. I was able to get delivery from them the next day at 9:00 at night. They give a two hour window, when they're going to come during those two hours. They came within 30 minutes of my scheduled time. They were polite. They carried my case of water into the house. It doesn't get much better than that. The prices were actually were better than I thought they would be.

  • I had a huge 10x12 wool rug cleaned. The rug was picked up from my house , cleaned and then delivered promptly the next weekend. Great service! I had purchased a coupon on Angie's Los for $99 for $ 200 worth of cleaning. Great deal and great service. I highly recommend tribal loom.

  • You would have to be crazy to hire this company. They delivered a freezer to my house and agreed to bring it down the basement steps from my backyard.
In no time at all they had it wedged so tightly into our security doorway that they couldn't move it in or out. I kept telling them the box was too big and they'd have to take the freezer out first. But nooo.
Finally they cut off the box and my freezer was in the basement. I said good-bye, signed the paper saying they delivered it. The big problem was that when I went to close and lock thesecurity door, all this masonry fell out between the door jam and the wall. I couldn't close my security door anymore! they destroyed the masonry connecting the door jam and the wall. Wonderful, living in Philly without a security door to the basement.
I called the company and someone came to the house and said "We'll do whatever is necessary to fix this."  Apparently their idea of "whatever necessary" means not doing anything for weeks, not returning calls and finally refusing to pay for the damage made by *their* delivery men. I called a mason who fixed the doorway. It cost $250
his is a rinky d*** company and the people that work for them don't know what they're doing. I recommend you avoid them at all costs!

  • Nurhan, the proprietor arrived exactly on time for both the pick up & delivery and did the job in 1 week.  He removed a brass polish stain on the oriental which hadn't been cleaned in 35 years and also removed an ink stain from the Morrocan, which another firm was unable to remove in a previous cleaning 12 years ago.  He is polite, well-spoken and a pleasure to deal with. The world would be a better place if all proprietors-no matter what the business-were like Nurhan. We got the price we did from an Angie's list Big Deal; but even if we had had to pay his full $201.00 price that would have been very fair and was less than we paid for the Morrocan alone 12 years ago and the other company didn't do a very good job.

  • Their products are expensive. The quality of their products is good.  The vegetables are fresh and organic. I ordered carrots from them I thought I will get big carrots but I got baby peeled carrots.
