Computer Training reviews in Philadelphia

  • I signed for online service to keep my computer running properly. They secretly added software so I would continually have to buy services. They became pushy and asked inappropriate questions. I cancelled their service [and thru my credit card received a refund].

I searched the list and found Provider name locked. .

Provider name locked. arrived at my home as scheduled; is knowledgeable, competent and polite. He explained his work and asked my needs. His fee is very reasonable. He is a pleasure to work with.

I like Provider name locked. , he is very focused and professional while being relaxed and relating well. I recommend him highly and will definitely ask his help as needed.

  • He arrived well within the arranged time-window. His hourly rate is very modest. As I'm outside his normal range (I'm in west West Philly, & he goes by bike) he added a $20 traveling fee; but even so, the total was signifigantly lower than others charge for house calls. His manner is low key, friendly, and focused on the work. He's a good communicator in both speaking and listening. He's knowledgeable & quietly self-assured, with none of the arrogance, pushiness, or hyper-Provider name locked. I've seen in other techs (in 3 different co.s & occasions). What a relief to work with someone who's patient, clear, and considerate! What he didn't do is also important. He didn't sneer at the programs I'm comfortable using nor demand that I replace them with things more satisfying to tech wizards. He answered my questions about various options, but without trying to sell me on anything; he stuck to the task in progress. It's worth noting also that he's a photographer, and is familiar with the particular issues of handling & archiving large volumes of photos. As an aspiring photographer, I had despaired of finding a computer expert with any awareness or concern for such things (see above comment on 3 previous techs). I enjoyed comparing notes on photo shoots and editing software, and he gave me some useful pointers in a friendly and unassuming way. Provider name locked. 's rates are low enough to make help available to struggling artists! Even with the traveling charge, plus a tip I gave him for the impromptu photography consult (not included in the above total, as it was my idea), the whole thing cost less than half of what I was quoted by another computer tech. The other guy had wanted me to bring the computer to him and had decided, sight unseen, that it needed a major overhaul and replacement of programs. Provider name locked. did only what was actually necessary & helpful; and my computer is running smoothly and happily again.

  • I think it is around $25-$30, but it is worth it. They are very helpful. If I have any questions, they are just right around the corner, I can just drop in anytime and say that I have a problem, and they will explain it and tell me what to do, and that they have had that problem before and it's done. A lot of places, they will ask us to bring it in and see what they can do.  Provider name locked. takes care of it right away, and they are really good. In a way, I like them better than another bigger store, because they do have somewhat of a more personalized service. They are a smaller store and Provider name locked. ’t have quite as many items, but the service is really good. I would use them again in the future.
