  • I have an 11 year old laptop that I use to make music and it was having serious issues for months. I was afraid I'd have to get a new one and transfer over all of my programs. I took it to Philadelphia Tech Repair - it took Alex 2 weeks to diagnose and totally fix the issue, but he was incredibly thorough, testing the repair multiple times before letting me take it back home. It was incredibly affordable, and he touched base with me several times while he worked on my laptop giving me updates on how it would be taken care of. Do yourself a favor and go there if you live in South Philly and need your laptop/computer/tablet/music equipment fixed!!!

  • Great as usual. He took care of all the computer and printer issues. He also helps me do small things around my house that I wouldn't be able to do on my own. He goes out of his way every time he comes by. He is very congenial and professional. I would recommend him to anybody.

  • Prompt, responsive, and very convenient. I juggle multiple priorities on any given day so to have remote support was a time saver and definitely reduced interruptions to my day to day work flow. He thoroughly examined my entire operating system and made suggestions as to how to make the laptop run like new again and to keep it running smoothly. Within a short time frame they found the issues causing the computer to slow down, ran their tune-up programs and I was backup and running. After seeing the substantial difference in the speed of my computer I signed up for their monthly support plan to avoid running into this problem in the future and to keep my laptop in top notch shape so that I can continue to focus on my productivity and success with zero interruptions! Will definitely hire them again.

  • They removed the virus and now my computer is working absolutely perfectly. The workers were extremely Respectful Johnny Lee helped me with my situation. They allowed me to bring my dog in the store, and all of the workers were very nice to her, exspecially the girl. On my second visit to the store Johnny remember my name, and the young lady remember my dog's name. I had an amazing expeirence with this company. I highly reccomend this Computer Repair business to anyone who has any problems. They also fix Security cameras, drones, and cell phone....WOW!

  • He did okay. Most of the people do the same thing. He upsold us on a couple of things, and that is always frustrating. Sometimes it needs to be, otherwise he did fine. He tried to do what we asked him to do, I am not sure if he did it, I don't think he did it because it couldn't be done. He was a nice guy, he did what he could but he didn't have a certain tool that he needed. If he had the tool, he might have been able to fix it, or he may not. I found out since then that most computer people don't have that tool. We were bouncing back and forth, and he was supposed to come one time, and we weren't there, or he was supposed to come one time, and he couldn't come. It was a fair experience. He seemed like he wanted to spend some time in trying to help us what we needed, but not having the tool lowers his grade. He didn't seem like he was prepared although he apparently knew what he was coming here to do. He was here when he was supposed to.

  • I dealt with Spencer and he was great. He answered the questions I had, really improved how the computer worked, and actually put in some additional time without charging me extra. I took advantage of the Angie List promotion which had him working on my computer for nearly 5 hours even though the promotion was only suppose to cover 4 hours. 
    I would both recommend this company and  use them again if I have any future problems with a computer.

  • everything was fabulous.  we had a hard time connecting after my phone call to mitch (due to my schedule), but he persisted in returning my phone calls until we could talk.  he scheduled my appointment, showed up on time (even a few minutes early) and worked for three hours at my first visit.  he scheduled a second visit to do additional work I requested, even re-arranged another appointment since I am a teacher and can't take off.  showed up on time the second time, worked for two hours until I understood everything.  I have used angie's list before with "A" rated service providers who never even called back let alone repeatedly tried to reach me and then showed up on time!!!

  • I am sharing my recent experience with Best Buy in the hopes that this reaches someone within the organization that can take accountability and provide quality customer service. In short, I was supposed to have a working dishwasher delivered 12/23/15 and at this point, it will not be until 1/5/16 (instead I have no working dishwasher). Here is the timeline of events.
    Pre 12/23/15: Paid for dishwasher delivery, installation and haul-away service
    12/23/15: Best Buy removes old dishwasher and installs the new one. The new one does not work and they are unable to re-install the old working dishwasher. Thus, I am left without a working dishwasher. I spoke with best buy and their logistics company and they tell me that a service call is set up for the next day and that a new dishwasher will be available as backup. I call later that night to confirm time for 12/24 and they tell me it is set up, but not sure what time yet.
    12/24/15: I called at 8am to confirm time and I am told nothing is set up. I am told that new dishwasher will be delivered 12/28/15
    12/27/15: I get a call from logistics company with no voice on the other line. I call them back, and they tell me a new unit is set up for 12/28, but since it wasn't set up as an exchange, they need to cancel. Spent 2+ hours on the phone with best buy to try and get delivery ASAP and they tell me the soonest is 1/4/16 and that they can set up an appointment for then. Over the phone, this date is confirmed.
    12/28/15: I receive an email saying delivery is for 1/5/16 (not 1/4/16).Over the course of 5+ hours on the phone with Best Buy and their logistics team I heard many excuses that related to the system and process in place. None of these were good customer service or a way to resolve the process immediately. I understand that units can be defective, but since my unit was defective, it shouldn't take 2 weeks to be delivered a new one.
