    MCG Construction Inc.
Mark and his team were amazing during our stucco repair- we needed the back half of our house basically rebuilt following faulty stucco. They were courteous, friendly, tidied the worksite every night and the project was actually finished when Mark had predicted. He was patient and walked us through everything with options. Mark was always available during and after the project for questions. I would definitely use him again.

B and C Building Group LLC
B and C Building Group (Bronson Lyon, President / Owner) is very friendly and appears well informed as a general contractor. However, we found out the hard way that it's a horrible front. They are very timely at making initial appointments and discussing the scope of work. However, once initial payments are made, they become difficult to reach and unresponsive. The work that was "attempted" in my basement was of the poorest quality and not in accordance with prevailing building construction practices--yes, I can...and am willing to provide pictures. I have filed a BBB case against B&C Building Group - ID # 13508244, as we have made all contractual deposits for services that have not been performed. Further, they have yet to respond to the BBB complaint. In addition, I am pursuing legal action, as their business practices are potentially fraudulent, as shared by a prior employee of B and C Building Group. I am not one to easily provide negative reviews--however, if I can prevent financial harm from occurring to others considering the services of B and C Building Group, I will have done my part as a responsible consumer and one who values fair, just, and legal business practices. Submitted in the pursuit of preventing further harm and in the pursuit of justice.

    Waterproofing One
We hired Mike Famous with Waterproofing One as he came to our jobsite to inspect and give his opinion before even giving a quote, which was very helpful. The quote came back at a fair price and we decided to move forward with his company. During the set up process he and his team were quick to respond to any inquiries we had. The job itself was completed ahead of schedule and was accurately performed per our plans.

    Housing Solutions, Inc.
My basement renovation project went very well. I had a great relationship with the contractor,Neal and foreman, Luis . The basement had low pipes, plumbing issues and an antiquated electric system. Problems were discussed with alternatives and cost considered. I had weekly walk through with the contractor to discuss any changes or additions I desired. Neal worked very hard at getting what I wanted. Changes were made the very next day. He is very experienced, is honest and I trusted his judgement. He was always just a phone call or text message away. Foreman has great design capabilities. He designed closets with shelves and racks to hang clothes as I desired. I now have three storage closets. Things are no longer just sitting in the floor. It was great working with experienced people ! They knew what to do and I could see the difference on the first day. I never felt lost in the process. He transformed unused space into a small room- totally unexpected. He made built-in shelves that I can decorate. I've never seen that in a basement. I also had a full bathroom put in with a custom-built shower 36 inches. I went with contractor to pick out what I wanted in my bathroom. Loving it!! Most importantly ,I now have a heated basement with insulation. I'm no longer going down to a cold dungeon. My laundry room is now a place I enjoy hanging out in with strong new shelves for garden tools, new windows and my floor got painted. I really didn't think there was much hope for it. It was a large project which took about 5 weeks. All of the workers were great ! At end of project I was offered free maid service. My basement was clean and beautiful ! Looks like a magazine, it really does.

    Paul's Cement Work
Paul and his team did a great job on our South Philly basement... knocking loose material off crumbling walls, then filling and parging with a brushed finish and a coat of drylok to seal. Very competitive price, and very responsive... they worked clean and were very thorough getting into the joist bays, and hard-to-reach areas behind appliances and pipes, and they finished all the details nicely. Very impressed.

    Best Around Town
Leo is in over hid head but his ego can't accept. He thinks he has brilliant ideas and will change 'your' plans because HE thinks it looks better - like putting laminate flooring on the ceiling room a bathroom. Looks great, right? Except - it's in the bathroom where steam from the shower will delaminate within a year. But he thought it looked great so put in there on his own. AND charged me for it. His work is sub-par especially where any corners meet (walls, floors) come together. He does not know how to get anything to completion, and doesn't believe he does anything wrong which means when he makes a mistake (and he and his untrained people make many) he will not apologize or otherwise take responsibility, he makes you pay for their mistakes. He has no project mgmt skills. The promised completion took 3 times as long. When he thinks you're gonna let him do everything his way, he's easy to get along with. As soon as you tell him you're paying the bills and he is accountable, his ego drives out professionalism. he will not apologize, he does not make amends, he just charges you more for having to fix HIS or his people's mistakes. Keep poor accounting and records. Communication and professionalism are very poor.

    First Choice General Contractor Inc
He has no professionalism, don't follow safety protocols. Messed up my HVAC as his workers are not instructed properly by him to take precaution and safety measures. During sanding process, they created a huge dust storm in the house, and HVAC was neither covered, not shut off, no heads up provided, caused entire house covered into fine dust plus HVAC immediately tripped. Later i have to call emergency services to repair it. Upon asking, he didn't have courage to take responsibility and cleanup Main/Second floor/Duct or maintenance cost. He signed the contract with material payment only, but later with all excuses, start asking for money. Despite >50% payment made, he Left contract and work in between and came up with his own calculation to demand the money. For flooring work, which is part of main contract, he started asking full payment. He make all emotional and fake efforts and excuses to ask for money. Picked up flooring material which is paid by me but never dropped it at my home. Didn't finish the job properly and left everything in between. Beware of him!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am very satisfied with the work done by their team. They arrived on time every day and helped to answer any question I had. The team finished the work quickly and in great condition. They were able to make sure everything I asked for was completed and done right. I definitely would use them again for future projects!
