    Duane Mainardi Builders LLC
Because of the current state of our society due to the COVID-19 it was hard for me to imagine that I would receive such GREAT results with social distancing and other measures we must follow to stay healthy. I recently had storm damage on the back of my home that resulted in approximately 20% of the siding being ripped off. The stress of trying to find a reliable contractor to do the repairs is always scary when things are normal, but I must be one of the luckiest people on earth because I reliability in Duane Mainardi. Not only was the work done to absolute perfection, but the precautions to keep everyone safe, the workmanship, the communication, and flexibility was outstanding. Duane was in constant communication with me on problems and adjustments that had to be made during the entire project. We all know that once you start taking apart a 30 year old home, you will find surprises that can be stressful. The beauty of this contractor is that he never painted a grim picture and always provided a solution that was detailed, made sense and offered me the security that any underlying issues would be fixed. His on-site project manager came with skills to address my vision. Dobson took control of the site and brought great ideas based on the current state of my home and his vast experience and commitment to customer satisfaction. Mid-stream into the project, we decided that a frame around a window was not exactly how we had pictured it. This was after the siding had been completed on that side of the house however, even though there was going to be a fair amount of work to remove the siding and frame the window the way we wanted it, Dobson did not hesitate to accommodate our vision. Each day the work area was cleaned and safe enough to let my dog and family enjoy the front and backyards. The end result of his efforts are nothing less than stellar! Duane Mainardi Builders transformed my home into a structure that you would think was built no more than a year or two ago and is by far now one of the best looking homes in our development. I have had numerous neighbors and even realtors come by, compliment and ask for Duane’s contact information. There are no regrets here and I would not hesitate to hire Duane again or recommend to anyone who is looking for quality work. If you’re looking for a contractor who delivers what they say they will and genuine concern for customer satisfaction, Mainardi builders fits the profile and I would definitely hire them again.

Nate was great to work with. We had originally talked with the architect that designed our house but she was proposing a more complicated design and couldn't seem to get it done. Nate quickly came up with a design that was much simpler to build.

    First State Building and Design
Every phase of the project went smoothly and professioally. . FSBD provided a 3-D rendering of the project and then once we agreed upon size and color, they handles all the parperwork with both our HOA and the county. Contruction went without a hitch and at the end of every day, the crew cleaned up the worksite and made certain we knew was was planed for the new day. Upon completion, there was an issue with 2 of the boards not matching the exact color of the others. FSBD immediately contacted Timbertech and arranged for 2 new boards to be shipped which they installed the day after the replacements arrived. We also contracted for a front step handrail which matches our house perfectly and provides added safety to our home. Since then many of our neighbors have stopped by to see the deck and have also chosen FSBD to build decks for them. All have said the projects are going as planned and they all are equally satisfied with FSBD

    Elias Construction
Elias Construction did a fantastic job finishing our basement. From initial contact all the way through completion of the project, Elias was a pleasure to work with. He was here every day to ensure the work was done as we had discussed. . Our finished basement looks amazing. It has a full bath, a TV room, a bar that seats 8 people and recessed lighting throughout. The bathroom has a tile floor and wet bed shower. The TV room has a 75” TV with surround sound speakers along with additional in-ceiling speakers throughout all areas of the basement. In the bar, he installed high end cabinetry with in-cabinet and under cabinet lighting, a large stone backsplash and a TV mounted in the center. He also installed a granite bar top and undercounter appliances including a kegerator, beverage fridge, dishwasher and microwave. We were very impressed with the quality of the work and professionalism. We highly recommend him!

When our refrigerator was leaking he came out the same day to figure out what was going on and give us an estimate and remediate the immediate problem. Then they started the job only a few days later and got it done very timely. They had to pull out all the drywall behind the fridge and some of our kitchen cabinets and the wood floor and remediate damage from water leak including severe black mold. They did a great job communicating everything the entire time and helping us navigate the home owners insurance claim (made this process a breeze) and I really feel like they were fair with the pricing. I would highly recommend them! They were also always available for questions with speedy response time!

    FS Landscaping Contractors
FS Landscaping met all of my needs. Not only did they provide an amazing design around the pool that included a large waterfall and multi tiered flower beds, but they also worked with me financially to make sure the money that was being spent was being spent in the right areas. Their design choices made all the difference and frankly they were the only company that could rise to the challenge of this yard. Their work is top notch! They did everything from pavers, to the rock waterfall to lighting to fence, and all landscaping. There is nothing these guys can't do and do well. I trust them! have brought them back for several other projects since the pool and I will continue to use them in the future.

    Girl Contracting, Inc.
Let me say that I had high hopes when we started the job. Lynette is very charming and clearly very intelligent. Her estimate was not the lowest but because of her obvious smarts and personality, I chose her company. A number of things went wrong, but one can always expect problems with any project. My first issue was when she installed a bathroom exhaust fan venting out to the front of my house (historic 1930 tudor) with a square white piece of plastic right in the center middle of my house. She told me that the exhaust fan could not be vented anywhere else. I was very upset but wanted an exhaust fan. I hired the electrician we always use for household work who came to my house today (and previously told me there would not issue venting the exhaust at the soffit). I was not going to write a review until he told me the exhaust fan was not even hooked up to the outside of the house. Also, during the project Lynette decided she needed to charge me for "delivery" of the tile (that she volunteered to pick up personally) and the faucet, etc for the bathroom. This was not on the estimate. Before paying her, I called the two places where the tile was obtained and the fixtures. She had overcharged me for both "deliveries". However, she had previously threatened to not finish the job and I was worried she wouldn't so I said nothing. The marble tile floor was also an issue. I warned her that tile floor was very subject to scratching and to please make sure it didn't get scratched during the install. Regardless, the installers scratched it. Then when the tile supervisor came to my house he said that he didn't see the scratches. They were very visible to my husband and myself. He offered to put a treatment on the tile to remove the scratches. I accepted. However, after the work was done, I noted that whatever he applied to the floor changed the color of the grout. So, now I have multi colored grout on my floor. We also had all the doors in the hallway stripped as well as the hardware. I rented a truck and took them myself. When the day came to install the doors I found one of her workers painting the newly stripped hardware. I said something and he stopped. Had I not been there, I'm sure that all of the historic door knobs and hinges would have been painted. Further, her carpenter emptied his tarp full of drywall into my newly landscaped garden that I paid a considerable sum to get landscaped. When I took issue with this, instead of apologizing profusely (which is what I would do) she called me a racist. In short, Lynette is great as long as you don't question her. In fairness, she did offer to remove the "smoke alarm" looking vent from the front of my house but I did not trust that it would be done properly. Fortunately, we have a very trustworthy electrician and handyman that was able to repair my house. Updated 6/07/2020 I take issue with your response that you did not hear from me. Do I need to tell you to connect a bathroom exhaust properly to the outside? Do I need to tell you that you over charged me for so called "delivery fees" that were not in the estimate and were in excess of what the vendor charges. Do I need to tell you that you shouldn't put a piece of plastic on the front of my house and instead install the exhaust system to the soffit? My family electrician did with ease. You told me I had to vent it to the front of my house. Do I need to tell you that your employees shouldn't dump their construction debris in my landscaped garden? Frankly, I would expect you should have better judgment. When I did complain to you, you threatened to not complete the job. Let's be real I was going to walk away from this experience and say nothing, but why should I?

it was a complicated project, we knocked down a closet wall to expend the bathroom, most of communications needed to be redesigned and relocated. Roman did an excellent engineering job, always finding a solution no matter the complexity. We are extremely pleased with the results, with excellent quality of work, and definitely recommend RSS Group to any potential customers.
