I really liked the guy. He returned the estimate in a very nice amount of time. It was a good price and I might still use them but I have put them on a back burner. He had good timing in comparison to other companies I contacted. He did a good job. He was very professional and I am considering using him.- Lori A.
Provider name locked. and CA Renovations, Inc., provided the best remodeling experience that me, my family or any of our friends have ever experienced or even heard about. This was a particularly challenging job. It involved the complete home renovation for a 25 year old, 900 square foot duplex (the size of this one home, not both). It involved entire interior painting, entire interior tiling, complete bathroom overhaul (from jackhammer up to tiling and cabinetry). All repairs from plumbing to windows to screens were also done. Perhaps the most challenging part of this job was the "state of the home" from which it began.
The house had been consumed by trash, rubble, cats, etc., a la the "Hoarders" shows on TV. I won’t go into the details of the extreme measures that this contractor went to, our friend for life, but, needless to say it was above and beyond the realms of a Provider name locked. contract. It was more like a personal difference that Provider name locked. wanted to make in this family’s life, and that became his motivation toward conquering this overwhelming challenge and fulfilling his commitment. Now that we’re in the last few days of this project, Provider name locked. and I were chatting about this huge undertaking and whether or not any other contractor would have taken on this project. We agreed that we did not know anyone in the entire central Florida region who would have taken this on.
Every challenge was met with a solution that was very reasonably priced and kept the budget to a minimum, but allowed for quality products where needed. Our philosophy was that if we can spend dollars on those things that really matter for the long term, we can find other ways to save money. For example, we spent time to find a matching hinge (instead of replacing multiple hinges) or find very quality appliances at the Provider name locked. Outlet store on Provider name locked. Road, or save on quality items by doing some research, making some calls, etc. Then, we spent those dollars on installing upgraded bathroom shower tile that the family will use and appreciate every day ... forever. Great teamwork.
Just when you thought there were no contractors left who actually had integrity ... who actually kept your budget in mind ... who actually came up with ideas to improve your family's quality of life ... along comes Provider name locked. ... to let you know that, yes, there is still someone out there who cares about these values.- Susan A.
The finished job was great except for some minor things. The estimated price was good as well until we got the final bill. Be prepared to pay for screws, sponges, etc.
We have 6 dogs and the carpenter who did most of our work, Provider name locked. , enjoyed the dogs. That was very helpful since they didn't have to be locked up while he was here.
You will need to get a receipt for everything and watch what they buy and throw out. I had a lot of wasted materials that they wanted me to pay for.
Also, keep an eye on your outside faucet. That's where they clean up. 3 times they left the water running.
It would have been nice if the owner had shown up a bit more often. We saw him at the beginning and the end. It appears he uses his phone to run his business. I asked him twice to come over and check on a problem I had and he never showed claiming my husband said he couldn't come until 9am which my husband never said. It was requested not to begin work until 9 because we need to take care of the dogs first thing. Seems Vinny only does house calls between 8-8:30. We were never told that.
All in all the workmanship was done well. Not sure what we had to put up with was all worth it though.
