" I tried because a relative had a good experience with a female doctor there. I went twice and saw two male doctors for what had started" as a sore throat and developed into a slight earache. The first doctor - after at most 90 seconds with me looking down my throat and in my ear and listening to my heart with a stethoscope - declared I had an ear infection and nothing wrong my throat, prescribed a weak antiibiotic (ZPac) and left the room without even telling me whether he was done and I could leave. Three days later, both the sore throat and earache were worse, and I had pain throughout the right side of my face. So I returned and saw a different doctor. I got another 90-second exam (at most), was told nothing could be done other than changing the antibiotic, and again was left wondering whether the doctor was done and I could leave. I got a stronger antibiotic (amoxicillin). Neither doctor had even felt for swollen glands. This was a Monday. By Friday, all previous symptoms were worse, and I had such extreme vertigo and nausea that I couldn't drive and had to carry a garbage bag just to walk from room to room. So I went to a Little Clinic at and waited about an hour to see a nurse practitioner, who spent about 20 minutes with me. In that time, she asked several questions about my symptom progression, looked more closely into my ears and nose than either previous doctor, felt swollen glands in my throat -- and then explained what she had seen. She said I did have an ear infection and needed to stay on the amoxicillin, but noted that it was not clearing up because it was caused by a sinus infection that amoxicillin couldn't fully cover. She prescribed an inexpensive steroid for inflammation, as well as ear drops and recommended Dramamine 2 to cut my nausea. She said to resume my Zpac if I still had sinus infection symptoms after the amoxicillin ran out, spoke to me about possible drug interactions, and told me that she would check on me by phone in a few days - but noted that the next step, if needed, would be an ENT. Less than 24 hours later, I am already starting to feel better, and - most of all - I feel some confidence that I know what is going on because someone has actually paid attention. I understand that is not trying to offer elite healthcare, and I understand that $99 is not a huge amount for an office visit these days. But it is quite a lot for a 90-second, slipshod diagnosis that extended an illness that could have cleared up faster with a little more thoroughness and compassion. In other words, they could do better without adding to expenses. The Little Clinic visit cost $85.

"Every time I've gone there, they've been phenomenal. They're not really crowded. They have real doctors on staff. They're open late and everything" is clean. They're very thorough and even call you the next day to follow up with you. They'll take your insurance and call in any prescriptions. They spend time with you.

Urgent Care reviews in Orlando

My daughter went to the office to have a permanent retainer removed from her bottom teeth. She was told that her teeth were going to move if she did that. The dental assistant only discussed the issue with my daughter and never consulted with a parent who was sitting in the waiting room. My daughter was told the retainer would cost $150 and did she ...More want one.
First this is not a decision for a child to make on their own. This issue has repeated occurred at this orthodontist practice. The dental assistants only communicate with the children and not the parents. I was never provided any information when she had her braces initially removed. There seems to be a problem with all sorts of communication in the office. When I had called a year ago (multiple times) to find out the estimate for braces for my son, I never received a call back from the appropriate office staff. I subsequently ended up going to another orthodontist.
Second, why is there an extra charge for a retainer after the patient had spent thousands of dollars on braces. The orthodontist my son received his braces from, included the cost of both top and bottom retainers in his initial fee.

After leaving I went to fill prescription and because they didn't fill it out correctly was denied pain med. I had a very uncomfortable night and when I called them the next morning they were very uncaring and not very helpful. Not at all professional and not the kind of care I was expecting.

Dr. and his staff were prompt, attentive, listened and thorough. Appreciated the team work I saw during the patient triage prescribed worked well. Therefore no need to change. I was out in 30 minutes. and 12 hours later I am feeling MUCH better! Office staff seemed a bit, tentative, they could have gone either way -- helpful ...More and kind or..... not, but everything worked out well and i'm feeling better!

There are urgent cares opening everywhere it seems, but until they prove to me different, I will have faith in this practice and use them when I am unable to see my PCP.

The staff was friendly and the wait time very reasonable. The doctor explained everything very well and didn't act like he had to run off. This is going to be my first choice for urgent/same day care!!!

I wish they could be my primary care physicians! The waiting room is clean and nice. There really wasn't any wait. There were 2 nurses getting the vitals, so that was very quick. As soon as I got into a room, the doctor came in. He was very friendly and easy going. He diagnosed a sinus infection and I was able to get my medicine at the clinic. ...More That is a wonderful option when you're feeling crummy! Everyone I spoke to was super friendly and caring. I love this place!
- Katrina F.

They're very good. For the ten times I've gone there in 25 years, they came up with the right diagnoses even though I have gone to other doctors. I've been using them since we moved here in 1990. They know how to diagnose things. It's not the cleanest place in the world but the treatment is excellent. It's just an old facility. ...More The services are great. The knowledge up there is great too. If you get sick at night, you get up in the morning and you walk up there and they see you. The office environment is standard.
- Blanche S.

It is a center so you can go and get checked out. It is a group of doctors and I go there for urgent care appointments. It is not a hospital; it is a clinic. They have all different locations; the one I go to is in , NY. I have been seeing them for nine years. They are very accessible, they care, they ...More are knowledgeable and there is a very short wait time. They are efficient, there are many doctors to choose from, it is easy to make appointments and it is easy to get tests done.
- dequency B.

It's been incredible. Dr. is an oldschool doctor, the best. Very personable and takes time with his patients. They even call to check up on you the next day.
