    My husband and I moved to a large older house that needed all new/updated equipment. Emptor Audio made knowledgeable recommendations after discussing what we wanted and needed. They got us up and running, installing 2 Eero systems that cover my whole house plus the apartment over the detached garage. Also installed 12 audio zones with really nice-sounding speakers, 2 Nest thermostats, 4 Nest cameras outside, updated the old central vacuum system, and my husband���s favorite, Control4 system for his media room. I definitely recommend this vendor.

    I had almost all of my existing light switches and plug in lamps, changed out to Lutron Caseta. Now all are integrated into, and can be controlled by my existing Control4 system (so I don't have another app to deal with; though Caseta app is great). My security system is also integrated with Control4, so now if the alarm goes off; almost all of the lights in my house will come on. This required custom programming; which most companies know nothing about, nor are capable of doing; but it was no problem for their technician. I certainly could not have done any of this integration by myself. Tech showed up on time, and price was as quoted. Attention to minor details / pride in work; was spot on (check out the photo of a bank of switches, with all of the screws lined up perfectly). Also purchased Roku box from Innovation Systems, which they installed behind a tv. It is completely hidden from view, but it works perfectly. Highly recommended.

    Technician arrived on time and completed install in less than three hours. After the install, the technician reviewed the functionality of the alarm system (photo 1 of the panel), and we discussed how to integrate the system into both our homes heating and ventilation, and lighting. Working with OES, we added three Lyric thermostats and set up the system to integrate with Apple's HomeKit. We now have full control of our homes three AC units, and several lighting systems along with the security system through both the Honeywell app and Apple Home (photo 2). My wife loves that she can arm and disarm the alarm system using Siri on her phone. We would definitely recommend OEs for both your alarm and home automation needs.

    Drew did outstanding work. Will advise you on what components to buy based on what you want. He can order all components himself, so no work for you. Installation and set up was great. Everything is working great, and we're extremely happy with everything he installed. Very professional, knowledgable, reliable, and hard working. Pricing is very reasonable. He worked directly with our interior decorator to coordinate the design for each room. Was available for any questions or issues anytime, and is easily accessible.

    I have had no problems until now.
    Tonight, our system starting beeping due to a fault in the "long range radio". I assume this is the cellular communication for the alarm system.  
    I attempted to contact a technician to find out how to clear the fault and then set up service for fixing it. Unfortunately, ATP doesn't provide prompt technical assistance. After being on hold for 20 minutes with the answering service, they stated that technician wasn't answering his calls and that they would leave a message for him to call me back. I have yet to hear anything from them.
    I am saving about $20 per month as compared to ADT but I know from experience that when you call ADT, the person who answers the phone is able to assist immediately and able to see the alarm faults. Granted, if the cellular communication was down, they would not be able to see my panel but at least they could help clear the faults and get a repair scheduled.
    I guess you get what you pay for. I probably won't go back to ADT but I'm going to find a company that's capable of providing support when it's actually needed, not just Monday thru Friday.

    10/12.  Almost 24 hrs and still no one has called me back.

    The light sensor was not something I needed, and he happily replaced it with a heat and smoke detector.  The service was excellent.  I was very impressed with their customer service.  This is by far the best security system for me.  I was able to customize mywhole setup.  I felt very confident and it works really well.

    I bought a HD 1080P security camera surveillance system from Costco online. (and it was not cheap)  It appeared VERY easy to install but it was not.  Plug this wire into the recorder and you are good to go.  LOL Well that's kinds true but very false and misleading. I had a very skilled audio video guy help me run the wires.  But where to place the cameras?  Lighting is an issue at night even if you have IR cameras.  Focusing the cameras.  then you have the whole setting and alerts.  Alerts/alarm for motion sensing (this wasn't too bad)  but what was important to me was remote viewing all the cameras from my phone and office .  THIS WAS HARD.  Now, back to my point. Juan and this staff went above and beyond.  I went in to his store located on Fairbanks ave and begged to let me pay him for him to come to my house when ever he could and help us out because we were clueless on MANY issues.  I totally expected him to say my system was crap and return it and buy one of his.  This did not happen,  he told me the system was fine and he could/would help me.  (after seeing his stuff I wish I did return my Costco one and buy some of his stuff, but that's not the point.)    Juan (owner) dropped what he was doing followed me to my house, answered ALL our questions and showed us how to set everything up.  This took at least an hour and he would not let me pay him a dime.  All I bought from him was a 1 dollar sticker that says you are being video monitored.   However next time, office, dads house, moms house, sisters house...I'm going to SAFECAM
