Well & Water Pump Repair reviews in Oklahoma City

Vannoy's crews are always quick, knowledgeable and polite. They did some troubleshooting, then replaced the worn-out pump and pipes in the well. They were sure everything was working properly before they left. I have used them several times before and I have always been satisfied.

The first time I called the company and left a message, I waited 2 weeks and didn't hear from them. I called again and got through to them. They arrived when they said they would, carefully checked out my well and my pressure tank, replaced a gauge and the pressure switch. I enjoyed chatting with the technicians while they worked. I was expecting to pay more than I did.?

Installation went very well, even if it turned out to be more expensive than advertised (reportedly due to the difficult conditions in my vintage home). Team was on time, considerate and unit to this point has worked well.
    Maintenance went very poorly:
I had given them the job under the premise that they would maintain the unit, which they agreed to. From the start they tried to push me into a 'complete service contract' where, for a flat fee of 400/year, they would inspect and maintain all appliances (heat, air, septic, sewer etc). Since I have trusted contractors for these jobs, I was not interested. They then offered me a service contract for the backup generator only, at a price of $10 per month, to which I agreed. After one year, I was told that they no longer offered maintenance for the unit they had installed, except in the framework of an upgraded 'complete service contract' I , which now was $50/month. So effectively, one year after installation, they quintupled the price to maintain the unit, breaking their commitment to perform the necessary yearly maintenance unless I agreed to their high-price service contract.
I feel taken aback by their high-pressure sales policy, and to a certain point deceived. Had they told me that they would only maintain the unit if I agreed to a high-price service contract, which included my entire house, I would not have given them the job in the first place. They may not have broken any laws, but in my opinion they acted disingenuously. I wonder if the Chamber of Commerce and the BBB should  look into these kinds of high pressure sales practices. I would not use them again.
I have discussed my case with them and given them ample time to review their stance and reinstate my original service contract (possibly with a reasonable yearly cost adjustment)  before I posted this review. They were not responsive.

    -Took my call after hours.
    -Responded immediately.
-Did the troubleshooting and got an electrician on scene ASAP.
-Worked after hours until they reached a point they needed a plumbing and electrical supply open to buy parts the next morning.
-Called specialized well professionals to remove and a reinstall pressure tank and submersible pump and stayed on sight until they finished.
-Everything was well planned and trouble shot in the correct order to keep the cost to a minimum.
I was 800 miles away and then in route and Kaphar Construction kept me informed during the whole process, great communication and follow thru.

We went with Kirkland because he quoted us the best price of all other companies that bid the job. We began our project with a plumber that was brought in by our general contractor who completed the work through rough end inspection and opted out of final inspection completion due the general contractor leaving the job. Kirkland started out with installation of the sump pump and water heaters. The sump pump installation went well, however the water heaters were installed incorrectly by running the heaters in tandem rather than zoned, and incomplete because they failed to connect the drain pipe to the water heater spill pan. We had Kirkland proceed on with the toilets and sinks. Kirkland installed 2 of the 4 toilets and 2 pedestal sinks. They left the job that day incomplete with tools and parts on the floor, and failed to communicate to us that the toilets and sinks were NOT ready for use, which I discovered when I tried to use the toilet and water ran out all over the floor. I later had to actually tighten all hose fittings myself. That was the last time Kirkland actually did any work on the project.  I called Kirkland on two other occasions seeking a solution to the water heater issues and when the job would be completed. Kirkland showed up twice only to tell me that he was unsure of how to solve the water heater issue and that he preferred to complete the job closer to the date of final inspection, which had not yet been scheduled. I sent Kirkland plumbing an e-mail on 6/14/2014 stating my disappointment with the companies work thus far and that better efforts needed to made made in the future in terms of communication, quality of work and deadlines. Kirkland replied by calling me on the phone and quitting job by stating, "I think it would be best if we went our separate ways." Kirkland did refund me 150.00 for a cracked toilet in the end, however I would not hire this company again nor would I recommend their services. Also, this company has been known to ask for a review at the beginning of the job rather then at final completion.

Mike was extremely professional and knowledgeable during our interaction and correctly diagnosed and repaired an ongoing low pressure condition with our well. Because of my impressions of his capabilities and work ethic, we are planning to use his services again in the not too distant future to replace an older pressure tank. I, without hesitation, very highly recommend his services.

Originally the service was unbelievably bad. The tech that came out actually broke my plumbing and told me I would have to get a plumber to repair it which I did. When he left the pump system problems were not resolved at all. He also told me it would cost an additional $200 for him to remove my old waterlogged pressure tank from my basement and left it for me to worry about

I initially left a scathing review for them but after telling the the people at Waterloo pump about this on Monday when they opened for business, the owner came out himself. He apologized for the behavior of the previous tech and assured me he would be talked to about it. He set my system properly and removed my old tank. Doyle (the owner) is a great guy who really knows his stuff.

For me, stepping up and correcting a problem counts for a lot so I have raised their marks to A's and will probably be a life long customer.

Cameron did a great job with everything especially with the sump pump installation as we have not had one ounce of water in our basement since the installation.  Previously (prior to sump pump installation) we would get at least 12-15 inches of water in our basement during flash floods or several days of rain.  He was very prompt to come out and do the work within only a few days of coming by and giving us an estimate on the job.  We appreciate his "can do" attitude as opposed to other plumbers we have called before in which they thought our old house would be too much work for them.  Other plumbers also quoted us more on the price for this job and Cameron was very fair on his price.  He has/is already doing more plumbing work for us since this review (installed a new toilet for us to use for the contractors working on our renovation, fixing small mistakes made by the plumber who did rough in work for us previously on the renovation) and has already given us a reasonable bid for finishing up our final plumbing needs for new installs on fixtures in all our bathrooms, kitchen, mini-bar, and mini-kitchen in den.  We are happy to find a small business plumber in OKC like Cameron who has a great work ethic and is comfortable with working with older homes, gets the work done timely, and is very fair on his prices compared to larger companies of plumbers who never send out the same guy to you twice. Like another reviewer said previously, I have Cameron stored in my contacts of my phone and will always call him for my plumbing needs from now on.  I also plan to submit an additional review in the near future once we have completed the renovation of our house and Cameron has finished with all the final plumbing needed to assist us in completing the renovation.
