  • My wife and I cannot say enough about how happy we are with the renovations Handymen R Us did for us. I would recommend them (and we have already) to anyone who needs work done. The staff and contractors are the best at what they do. We were so impressed with level of detail that went into the work that was done!

  • Quote was prompt and accurate, and they even went above and beyond making some minor improvements not included in the quote (additional painting and wood work). They cleaned up the property when finished, and they were willing to meet me at my office during lunch to do the paper work.

  • I got a gift for Christmas that I did not care for. It has the original Hobby Lobby tag on the bottom, and the item was still being offered in the store. I wanted to exchange it for something else. I got to the cash register, and they wanted my drivers license number. I told them No, that is my personal information, and I am not sharing it. So Ieft the store with my original item that I went in with, and a good reason to never shop there again.
Add Hobby Lobby to the growing list of retailers who will not accept a return without demanding this personal information. My name and address I would give, but not my license number, and never ever my SSI number.
This was for a $20 item. Which they just lost a customer for.
One more good reason to shop with smaller retailers, who have a little more flexibility and common sense.

  • We wanted two similar sized (but not identically sized) prints framed so that the frames and the mat would be identical, show the full prints, and work for our bedroom wall side by side. A little complicated to figure out. Took the prints to Framed in the Village, they solved the problem on the spot. Promised the work back in two weeks, and it was done right on time, and to perfection. They are going to be our frame shop from now on. They are great - professional, knowledgeable, friendly. If you live in Central Oklahoma this is your frame shop!

  • They are fast and efficient and super-professional. It took about 3 weeks, but something like that is a little difficult to do as it involved some restoration and great care with a 150-year-old document. I love these people's work and they are very friendly and knowledgeable. I have used them before and will continue to do so -- and highly recommend them.

  • Before we found Leo, we had difficulty finding anyone who would  give a quote on our framing issues.  Leo discussed our issues and concerns and assessed the areas involved.  He provided a quote within 1 week, we made the decision and he began work promptly.  He was concerned about keeping the area from inconveniencing us and did a great job of cleaning the areas each day. He completed the job within his promised schedule.  Leo is very experienced in framing and even seemed to enjoy the job which no one else wanted to touch.

  • Kevin from KRD came out to inspect the problem very shortly after I called. He was very thorough and checked everything out. I had an unrelated concern with bracing elsewhere in the attic which he checked out also. He concluded that that other area was not a problem and explained why.

Kevin emailed me an estimate the next day. I signed and returned it and we later agreed on a date to do the work.

The guys showed up on time to do the work and got it done just as described. They took care to not and quot;overcorrectand quot; the sag which would have caused issues with the roof surface. Their work was first rate, neat, no collateral damage. Done on time, courteous guys.

  • I've taken many pieces to the folks at Framed In The Village to be framed, thru the years. They always take all the time you need to ensure that the overall effect of your project is the best it can be; and it never takes very long to get a piece back. I've also always loved exploring Framed In The Village's shop on North May; they have the most wonderful selection of artwork for sale; so when I've been waiting for any reason in their store, there's always new and intriguing art to enjoy. (And they delightfully always have coffee and these lovely ginger cookies on a tray near the door... it's a homey touch that has always made me feel warm and fuzzy about them!) This Christmas, I found an old photograph of my Mom and her parents (when they were all young and darling and smiling), and I thought it would be a wonderful gift for my Mom (who's now 91)... but it was ridiculously last-minute. I decided to take it to be framed anyway, and if I couldn't give it to her until after Christmas morning, that would be okay. So I dashed down to their shop with it on the 23rd of December; and lo and behold, to my surprise and delight, they had completed their work for the holiday and were able to mat and frame my photo on the spot! My Mom LOVED the gift, and I was SO pleased!

  • Asked him to come bid job on hole in eave and broken wooden gate.  He said I was not really in his area, I said I would call someone else, he said that he would do the job.  Came out, gave me a bid, said it would be done within a week.  He never didn't call or show u for 3 weeks until I posed a very bad report on Angie's List.   Once I posted my first very negative report he called immediately and apologized for not calling me before the 3 weeks had passed but he had been waing for cooller weather (we had had 5 days of cloudy weather in those 3 weeks), he asked me if I staill wanted him to fix the items and I said yes, IF he was going to do it, he said I was on the schedule for the following Wednesday.  He did show up on Wednesday (8-31-11) and did a very good job on the gate and eve (now I see why he has such great reviews).  The price was fair.  I don't know if I would use him again because of the issue with time.  I have a lot of work that needs to be done on this old house but.   This is very disappointing as I would really like to find a reliable person to call.
