Dog Grooming reviews in Oklahoma City

Oklahoma City Academy Of Dog Grooming Arts
Our dogs (Stewie, a Miniature Poodle, and Stella, a Rat Terrier) both LOVE coming here. The staff treats them like royalty, and they take care of EVERYTHING from start to finish -- hair clipping to perfection, toenail and dew claw trimming, anal gland expression, "tear" cleaning . . . everything shy of veterinary care! We can't imagine going anywhere else with our beloved "fur children." Nope.

    Vera's Posh Paws
Seven-&-A-Half Hours!! Weve used Posh Paws for day care, lodging and grooming for several months. Like all of you we want the best for our companion animal and this business appears to be no better or worse than many others in this area. However, we wont be back after our last dealings with Posh Paws. If you are considering grooming there you might want to read further regarding what happened to us recently. We had an appointment and dropped off our dog just prior to 9:00 am, just at the groomer was arriving. This is a small dog; five hours later I called to see when he would be ready. I was informed that two other customers had pressured the groomer to get their pets done sooner. This sounded like two clients that came behind us were moved ahead of our appointment. At seven hours I called again and was advised he was being finished up. Finally, at 7 hours I had enough and drove there and told the two individuals at the front I wanted my dog regardless of his condition. When I complained about the absolutely ludicrous time frame one of the personnel stated weve been busy. Really, 7 hours to groom a 20-pound dog! The other simply stared at me like I was over expecting. At no time did anyone there so much as entertain the thought of expressing some small form of an apology. Not very good business sense. The groomer has always done a good job with our dog and well miss that. But, if you let other customers muscle their way into a shorter time frame while my dog sits in a cage for most of the day; well, there are other kennels and groomers elsewhere. Even if their comeback is they were busy or many other clients were ahead of us (and I seriously doubt that), then someone should have made that clear at check-in and not 7 long and unnecessary hours later. Extremely poor customer service all around.

    Dogs Beautiful Ltd
I've been going to her for a while. I take my dogs every three or four months. I have two dogs and they're small dogs. I think the cost was $52 or $55. I think they're good; their quality is good, their responsiveness is good, their punctuality is good, and I think their price is good.

I was very impressed with their professionalism and skills. They were friendly and my dogs haircut was the best I've received for cocker spaniel. They were quick and my dog was in a great mood when I picked her up. I will definitely be using them from now on.

    Warr Acres Animal Clinic
I have always done my own grooming on him. He has never been boarded. He has only been to the vet to get his vaccinations and that is it. I took him out of there yesterday. I was home a week before I was able to pick him up because something happened to my legs. I couldn?t walk and I couldn?t take care of him. I?d been sick. My brother had to fly to Florida to come and get me and bring me home.

They took excellent care of him and had him in excellent shape and ready to go when I picked him up. The boarding was $192, but I have to call them back because they have it down that I boarded him from the first. I didn?t look at the sheet yesterday, it was just a simple accident. They will adjust that when I go in. I?ve got to take him back for another shot. I got the heart worm chewable tables, those alone were $37.50 for a 6 months supplies. What I am saying is that my grand total which includes everything was $388.19.

They will credit me for the 2 days that they made that mistake on when he came in. In fact, it wasn?t even on my way, I?ve got clinics all around here that are much closer to be, less than a mile. I drove like 5 miles from my house. I found them because of their reputation. I don?t know if I looked at Angie?s List. I just put in Google reviews for different clinics and I picked them for him. I was getting so many good reviews on those 2 doctors there.

It is a Dr. Thomas & a Dr. Wilkins. They have both taken care of Teddy. They are both very good and they remodeled. It?s a very nice, clean clinic. They have it fence, it?s like a nice new fence. It?s not just a wire fence, where the dogs can go out in the grass and exercise and play and stuff. It is very nice. I would say they aren?t as much as a lot of vets do charge. Teddy was only 9 pounds, he is a big Chihuahua, and they base boarding on pounds. He was in the 1 to 20 pounds. That I think they said, $12 a day. That?s not bad.

I had him cut him for the summer cut. Like those cute little Pomeranians with the shorter hair and that cute little head. That is what he is cut in now. He is kind of a palomino colored white with camel color. His hair is just a real thick beautiful long coat. Anyway, I brag, he is my only little boy I have now. I am particular, I am particular about vaccinations. I only get the rabies because he is always with me, he is never alone and we are always in my yard. He doesn?t go out for walks either, he doesn?t like to walk out. He has only been around me and it is scary for him.

I called and they gave really good updates about how he was eating and doing. What they were doing, when he wouldn?t eat, get him a certain can. I am real particular and all that about him. They knew I had to catch a plane, they knew I had an emergency, they knew my time was critical when I flew there. I told them that. They already had his basic records. They were ready. Everyone there is so nice and so helpful. Sometimes the girls help out, they are always so pleasant when I have been there. Which hasn?t been a lot because Teddy has been very well.  Any of them have been just so nice. They really think a lot of your animal too, your pet.

I use them all the time. They are probably a little high on the price but I would give them an A.

The wait time can be from 15 to 40 minutes. The vet interacts with our pet very well. Dr Logan is what keeps us coming back. All the service is in one place.

    Vera's Posh Paws
Most recently, seven day stay during a family vacation. My dog so happy to play but kinda homesick. Vera's contacted me via FB to let us know they were adding chicken broth and peanut butter to her diet to "up" her calories since she was eating her kibble very eagerly. Soooo grateful! They also let us know everyday how she was eating since I'm a helicopter mom () & was worried. Very very impressed & recommend them to anyone wanting excellent & responsible care for their fur babies!

We have boarded our dogs at Lucky Dog for over 10 years. The facility is clean and well maintained. They always take great care of our dogs and their grooming services are excellent. You can tell that all of the employees really enjoy working with animals.

Kennie is an excellent groomer. He bonded with my Yorkie as soon as she rushed out to greet him. He takes his time, and it shows in his work. She looks adorable! He did exactly what l requested, which makes a refreshing change from other groomers. Has a wonderful attitude. We already have a second appointment booked.

    Pet Vet Supply

For my dog -- a standard poodle -- which is a lot of work, I want to say it costs $79 and for the little one it is $35. I have a standing six week appointment for the poodle. The little one, the mini schnauzer, ( I go ) whenever I think she needs it.
