    Ground Zero Storm Shelters
Perfect. I enjoyed getting to sit in the storm shelters at their showroom to help with size selection. After signing up for the install, they connect you to an online portal to manage the contract and to update building permit number, etc. Installation was prompt and clean.

    FlatSafe Tornado Shelters
We had a storm shelter installed by Flatsafe on April 3rd, 2018. We were very happy with the install and cleanup. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a storm shelter. We wanted an in-ground storm shelter and had visited a couple of other installers before we went to the Flatsafe showroom. We knew it was going to be a difficult install because of the very small area we were dealing with a detached, single car garage very near the house with a stockade fence on one side. When we visited Flatsafe we were greeted and shown the in-ground shelter choices. We were able to thoroughly check them out while they explained to us how they worked. We liked the single door configuration and were impressed with the video showing the strength of it. We spoke with them about the difficult install. They were very positive about being able to do it but because of our concern they sent Corey to check out the area. He was very knowledgeable and reassuring and said they could install the shelter just fine. We had offered to remove the stockade fence if that would help but he said it wasnt necessary. Corey explained that the install would just take extra time because the backhoe driver would need to carefully back up the driveway to dump the dirt each time. They added an additional charge of $200 because of the extra effort/time involved which we thought was very fair. They gave us instructions on getting the shelter permit and Linda called a week before the install to confirm and let us know what to expect. Then Chance called the evening before to confirm again and let us know what time to expect the team. Upon arriving on time the next morning they quickly got to work. They were polite, did an amazing job, and cleaned everything up thoroughly. They even power washed the garage floor. In our search for a good company with an excellent storm shelter we found that Flatsafe stands out far above the others with their excellent products and service. We were so thankful that they were willing to take on this challenging job.

    Thunderground Storm Shelters
Workers showed up timely for this install. It took them a few hours longer to dig due to highly compacted clay soil. Finished the work the same day. A few of the anchor bolts were not tightened but I took care of them. Left the area around the shelter a little dirty but that can be expected with this type of work. Overall, we are very please with the shelter and install.

    Ground Zero Storm Shelters
The original shelter installation went fine, the contractors were on-time and did a quality job. Our issue came with the customer support after installation. About a year after installation we started to notice multiple areas around the shelter accumulating rust. We asked for help and it took almost a YEAR (and multiple attempts) to get someone out to our house. The following is a brief overview the day that the 'painter' showed up. I received a phone call from JC (maybe AC?) about 8am stating that he was on his way to our house. I told him please don't come before 9am because we had other obligations to full fill that morning, which he agreed to do. He arrived at 8:30am. His untimely arrival greatly upset us because it disrupted our whole day. (Side Note: JC also did not come prepared to perform any maintenance on the shelter. He did not have a flashlight, mask, goggles, paint primer, painters cloths, or any stenciling protectors. It was apparent that he was not intending to help us address any of our issues with the shelter.) He informed me that the rust on the shelter was typical and went on the explain that steel oxidizes and ALL of the shelters have this happen (sounds like a quality control issue). We also had a yellow stain on the bottom of our shelter, which we inquired about, but is response was "I don't know". I told him that these types of defects shouldn't be 'typical' after only a year and there were some parts of the shelter that were bare (no paint) from the day of installation (mainly the sliding door handles). Then he said something that blew me away, "He was not legally authorized to work on our shelter." Why send someone out that had no intention or authorization to help address our issues? We argued for a while but after sensing that it was mostly useless I asked what he could do.. he said he could leave some spray paint that I could address the issues myself. He left a can of paint at our house right in front of the garage door, which my wife I had to remove before she could pull the car into the garage (another little thing that just made our day). That evening I addressed the issues with the shelter myself.

    COJAC PORTABLE & METAL BUILDIN
The agent at Cojac was friendly and knowledgeable, and there were models on site, so we could see what we were getting. The problem I had was from the carport manufacturer, which also installed the carport. This was TexWin, which the company that Cojac uses to provide and install carports for customers. First, the sales team at Texwin was aggressive about upselling me some things that I did not need. Not such a huge deal, but what really got to me was the scheduling. They say they are flexible, and can work with the customers schedule, but let me tell you, they do not! After trying for several weeks, I realized that the only day they could come was on Friday, which is one of the two days out of the week when it is hard for us to take off work. Finally I agreed to Friday afternoon, so I could work that morning. Well, I got to work and that is when the crew called to say they were at my house, ready to install the carport! So, if you end up getting a carport from Cojac, and they are still using this TexWin company, just be aware that you may be in for some hassle and inconvenience. NOW the good part is that the work crew did a good job, the carport is nice, and we are enjoying it! The rating below is for TEXWIN. The professionalism and service from Cojac was all A's.

    Black Diamond Custom Services
This company is a problem from start to finish. I've had nothing but issues since I've started dealing with this company. They are extremely decietful and they rarely do what they said they are going to do. They will try to scam you with every chance they get. The owner is Gary Jones and he is the root of the problem. He is only out to make a quick dime. He tries to charge a premium on every little bit of work is done, all while lying about giving you a price break upfront. He over charges and under delivers. His assistant, Carla, who does all of the go between work with the insurance company (who used to work as an insurance adjuster) has been arrested for insurance fraud and this wasn't her first run in with the law.

    National Portable Buildings

Our building has had several defects in both the construction and materials. The building had numerous nails protruding from improper placement (20+), the floor was unstable and not level, several gaps were visible between the wall and flooring, there were nails through the top layer of shingles, and there were at least 2 large, noticeable cracks in the woods that you could see through. When we called to report the problems, we were told the builder quit and they did not have another builder which seems odd for a business that builds buildings. The man we bought the building from did come out and try to repair the issues, but he could only do so much. He told us it was normal practice to put nails through the top layer of shingles and he seemed unconcerned about the poor materials telling us that wood is not perfect. We will have to go through and make several repairs ourselves to get the building right. Very disappointed considering how much we paid.
