"Estimate was provided by

, and she had actual samples of the products to choose from, thickness and type of wood. Work was scheduled and done on time. Very professional, efficient work crew. They removed all the old fencing, put new steel posts in and came back to install the fence boards and gate. They measured ground clearance, and along the top of the fence line. Fence is very sturdy, good quality, and the installation was quick and professionally done. The crews removed all the debris, cleaned up dug up dirt from the posts. Definitely recommend this company and will use them again.

"We decided to wait on the project and I don't remember his estimate. I threw paper work away. Sorry. Not sure of exact date either.
You need a NA on the grade when people don't use a provider for work.

"Called a late afternoon for an estimate and received a call back early the next business day.

came out right away to give us our quote and was a pleasure to speak with. We had gotten several quotes and Allied was very competitive. Scheduled the work and their workers showed up on time. Their workers were very courteous and performed a professional job. We would definitely use Allied again as well as recommend them to others.

"We hired 5 Star Fence Company to build an expensive fence for our home in Oklahoma City in August 2013. It was a disaster. Their crew, supervised by "

destroyed one of our sprinkler heads and did not come forward to inform us. The

was on us was to watch them like a hawk and hold them accountable. They damaged a tree that belonged to one of our neighbors and never came forward to inform us. The retired teacher was very upset with their lack of respect. They built a brick column that was was too close to another sprinkler head and only informed us after the work was done. Their crew got into a verbally abusive argument in the front yard about 8:30 am. during the construction. There were several nails from the old fence that was removed during construction that were scattered around the yard and in the street. "

"The garage door wrap and siding repair went well. Installed promptly. Looks great. The fence was slow getting started due to heavy demand after the tornados. There were many problems with the fence initially. On the new fencing, some of the wood was poor in quality--knot holes, bark still on, bark peeling off, broken planks. Also 20-some planks were not nailed in. On the side that was repaired, the contractors sawed the old posts off rather than pulling them out; thus ragged remains stuck up 1 to 2 inches above ground. They also patched new planks onto the old fence in unsightly manner. I really appreciate the way Rigid Construction staff took action when informed of the problems. BJ contacted me immediately. He assured me that he cared the quality of the work and that he would personally inspect the work. It was encouraging that arrangements to correct the problems were promptly made. Also

"I originally had this company build our fence back in September 2010. The fence is a 6' tall, board on board cedar fence with steel posts.

and

did a wonderful job installing the fence. In June 2013, a contractor hit our fence with a backhoe and did some damage. After months of negotiating repair costs with the contractor I called
Oklahoma City Fence Installers Provider Name Locked
and set an appointment for him to estimate repair costs. The damage only affected the north side of the fence, but
Oklahoma City Fence Installers Provider Name Locked
took it upon himself to fix any cracked pickets, slightly bent posts, or loose nails on rest of the fence. He even adjusted the gates that sagged (very little I might add) due to the ground settling. All these things are just the natural wear and tear of the fence, but

want to fix any and all problems. He only charged me for the repairs to the north side of the fence even after I offered to pay for the other repairs. He said that he made the other repairs because he felt bad for the fence not holding up as it should. I didn't see any issues with the fence to begin with. Like I said the fence looked great, aside from the aforementioned damage, and all the little cracks, etc. was from wear and tear. Overall, this company builds outstanding and strong fences. You can tell they take pride in their work and go above and beyond when it comes to customer service. I plan on extending our fence in the future and will definitely use them again. I recommend this company to any and all who are need of a fence.

"Contacted
Oklahoma City Fence Installers Provider Name Locked
in mid May and met with salesman approximately 5 days later. I then made a 1/2 down payment and was told my fence would be installed the first week of June. During the first week of August (this is not a typo) I contacted the salesman and asked what was the delay and why had no one called me?? His response was "they had been busy" and I responded that that was no excuse for not notifying me of the status regarding my fence. I then said all I wanted at this point was a date when it would be installed. The salesman called me back and promised it would be installed the following Monday--it wasn't. I called him Monday night and he acted surprise, but promised he would call me in the morning. The next morning he called and promised it would be done the following day, at 5pm a crew showed up and set the posts. I was told the posts would have to set for 48 hours before the fence could be finished. That evening I had to go and buy a temporary fence to enclose my backyard to keep my dogs from running out. Saturday when the crew came they notified me the posts were set to shallow and they would have to be redone--the crew left w/o doing a thing. When I called the salesman Monday morning I I told him I had had it and that I was planning on going out of town in 4 days and the job had to be completed- it was not! Finally after 90 days of waiting the fence was done!! i WOULD NOT DO BUSINESS WITH

"Overall, craftsmanship exhibited by this contractor and his crew was good. Results are certainly an improvement over the original condition of both our storage building and fence. The storage building looks much nicer and provides better protection from the elements than before. The fence looks good as well. However, both projects contain enough minor flaws and we experienced enough "bumps along the way" to prevent an "A" grade.
For example, the rusty hasp from the original storage building door was reused on the new door. I asked for new hardware to be purchased and installed. Another instance: the contractor's assistant tried to cover the entire exterior with one

of paint (although we had five gallons at his disposal.) I suggested that he open a second can, which he eventually did. But I feel the overall coat the building received is too thin. We plan to give it another coat in the near future.
The fencing crew did install new latch hardware on the gate, but it's small and difficult to open. I plan to replace the latch with something heavier. (We were unavailable to examine the latch before it was installed. This is a direct result of a work date the contractor insisted upon. More info about the schedule below.)
The fence project required a corner post, a line post, and an attachment at the house. They installed a a 4"X4" timber at the corner; the line post is metal. I was most disappointed by the connection to the brick veneer. A 2"X4" was attached to the masonry with what look like long deck screws. (The original 2"X4" was attached with lag bolts.) There's a gap between the board and brick. Given the way the panel was connected, I expect it will require repair far sooner than hoped.
Quotes we received were in line with bids from other contractors, perhaps a bit lower.
Oklahoma City Fence Installers Provider Name Locked
requires 50% up front to reserve a work date. I wasn't comfortable with this practice but paid it anyway.
We initially scheduled only the siding project because other bids for fencing were still being accepted. I eventually decided to hire
Oklahoma City Fence Installers Provider Name Locked
for the fencing project, and included the retainer for that job along with final payment for the storage building project. That decision caused some anxious moments as the contractor didn't come to replace the fence the following week as expected.
Although the target date passed without word from anyone, I waited a few more days, then began calling for information. Calls across different days were not returned. When we did make contact, the owner explained several crew members quit unexpectedly. He cited other complications. Together, these incidents prevented our work from being done.
When we began discussing a completion date, he insisted a upon working on day we'd be gone most of the time. (That's the primary reason no one was available to approve latch hardware.) Again, I was uncomfortable with the arrangement, but rather than risk longer delays, I agreed. However, I really didn't like being pushed into that position.
As stated at the beginning of my comments, I think construction work done for us by
Oklahoma City Fence Installers Provider Name Locked
is "good"...a solid "B". A few things could have been more professional, but overall we're satisfied. Some of their business practices, however...particularly communication with customers...could use improvement.

"Called to get an estimate and
Oklahoma City Fence Installers Provider Name Locked
showed up exactly on time on the day we set. She knows her stuff! Gave a fair estimate and told them I wanted to get other estimates. Other companies couldn't be bothered to show up on time or at all in some cases so I called Allied back to schedule the work. They were able to schedule it 2 days from the time I called. The guys showed up on time and worked until it was done. Very nice job; great workmanship, great wood and overall extremely impressive. Have had them out again for other estimates and will use the in the future.
