    Cabinet Cures of Oklahoma/Sherwood Group
Don Childress and his crew were great from the beginning and very knowledgeable, polite, punctual, and easy to work with. They made this process a breeze. I look forward to working with them again on my bathrooms.

    Cabinet Cures of Oklahoma/Sherwood Group
Cabinet Cures of Edmond did an excellent job of refacing my horrible looking kitchen cabinets. They provided solid wood doors and drawer facings for less than one would pay for the plastic-covered composite materials. The crew was punctual, worked steadily, addressed all my questions, was careful of my home and furnishings and always cleaned up after their work day ended. I was completely pleased with the work they did, which was completed according to schedule. Don is a super-nice guy who patiently showed me all my choices of door styles and hardware at the Edmond showroom. I can recommend them without reservation.

Jason & Kelly were on time. They were careful to cover countertop and floors prior to starting work. They took the time to clean up at the end of each day. Jason & Kelly were professional. They were accomadating and took the time to address any issues, questions, or concerns. The cabinets are beautiful. We are extremely satisfied with the work they did.

The work went off without a hitch and most importantly, it only took 2 and 1/2 weeks. Any inconvenience of the job was held to a minimum. The three to four member crew was prompt, knowledgable, efficient and courteous. Roberto the highly skilled crew chief insured things moved along on schedule. Eric Stewart showed up daily to oversee the project and interface with us. His estimate for the work was fair as was the pricing of a few additives.

They actually moved the installation day up a week from the scheduled date, which was a pleasant surprise.  They showed up every day on time and worked all day.  They picked up all their tools each day, swept and cleaned up everything to leave the house as neat as possible.  The guys were polite, professional and hard working.  They ran in to some problems under the sink that had some water damage and a corner cabinet that needed rebuilding and they reworked those areas with no additional charge even though it wasn't in the estimate.
When they were finished there were two items that needed to be replaced which they did in a timely manner.
My kitchen is amazing!  Very beautiful!  It was far above what expected it to be.

This was the smoothest remodel I have ever experienced. They arrived each day on time, worked all day and cleaned the jobsite before leaving each afternoon. The crew were the nicest, most considerate and most skilled young men I have ever encountered. Their work is flawless and beautiful. The owner, Don Childress was a total pleasure to be around from start to finish. Also, Don said the job would take 4 days and they finished completely in exactly 4 days. They really know what they are doing.
I love my new bathroom and feel very lucky to have found this company on Angie's List.  I give them an A+++! If everyone took their jobs and businesses this seriously the world would be a much happier place!

    Gleam Guard of Oklahoma City

James was as always very professional and thorough. We had some spots that  had been scratched by some cabinet handles. he fixed those and went on to freshen some areas that we had worn a bit. It all looks fabulous!

We had our kitchen and bathroom cabinets finished with Gleam Guard. We had a pickled finish and went to a dark walnut color. We didn't want to spend the money on new cabinets or have the mess and smell of stripping and staining. Using Gleam Guard was the best choice! Very happy and pleased with the results!! recommend highly!!

    JAF Services LLC

JAF services had the contract to paint my whole house , have granite installed and paint/ glaze  my kitchen and master bathroom vanities, paint exterior entrance door and a decorative tile strip in kitchen.  When we met Joe Farmer on a job site ( they flip homes) he seemed like a very likable and competent professional. After a couple of days and a few bids we decided to go with him because he said he could do all those things within the budget I gave him. I asked numerous times for a quote but he said he would rather know our budget and will be working with us to get desired remodel done within budget. We bought a new home and he had from August 8-September 4th to complete the job in our vacant home. we had to postpone move in to September 8th and even the job wasn't finished.  After the granite was installed he prepped house for paint then nothing happened and after we talked to him several times that the garages needed to be done until August 18 due to Appliance delivery he sprayed them . Lots of areas in garage were sprayed over including door knobs and a ceiling fan, window sills, he said he will take care of it later and clean up. As time progressed we didn't see a lot of progress and lots of things were started and never finished . He couldn't organize the whole project it seemed. My kitchen wasn't started until very late in the time line and I talked to him several times that a kitchen is not a rush job and needs lots of time and prep and sanding...  He kept saying not to worry. He removed all my cabinet doors and drawers without numbering them  . My kitchen base was sprayed in a rush, he didn't even bother to sweep the cabinet casings out and sprayed over garbage disposal that was laying in there, wood chips, little items etc...  He left trash in my dining that was never removed even after we moved in. It stank and we had to haul that off in trailer.  Paint wasn't finished completely and we had to do a lot of cut ins and touch ups ourselves, it was increasingly difficult  get Joel out to the house to work or to reply. Lots of trim painted in my house have bad runs, he painted over hinges, my kitchen is a complete Redo that I have to hire another company for as it is in such a bad shape. I had several reputable companies look at my kitchen and all told me we should have not paid him. He wrapped by cabinet doors in newspaper to bring them back and of course they were full of peeling paint and print. He left them all laying in my house and didn't come back to correct  them. He found all kinds of excuses why he couldn't make it out to my jobsite.   After that I wanted to release him from his contract as I saw that he wasn't capable to finish the kitchen paint job in a professional manner. We had 25% still outstanding and I didn't want to pay him that for the poor work performed. He didn't want to be released and threatened with a lien and kept telling me that my cabinets are fine and he would come to finish and touch them up. He sanded them a bit and rolled them with foam rollers, they are bubbled up, have paint gum on lots of them, peelings  and the glaze is incomplete and very sloppy and the sides of the cabinet doors are not painted and a drawer front is still missing that he refuses to return. He never painted the front door, didn't finish my pantry door which is in very bad shape with the paint job he did. His wall paint was ok for the most part although I Had to touch up lots of stuff and it has a different sheen in some areas where he touched up overspray  The worse job is the kitchen and trims. He also painted the front of a pocket door that was recessed in a frame and accidentally painted but insisted we talked about painting that . He twisted everything around to get out of a bind and accused us of changing our mind or that we told him to this or that....  He is still thinking his job is great . He sprayed over hardware, lost hardware, I had spice racks in kitchen that were thrown away. this whole project was treated as an absolute rush job and no professional care and craftsmanship was applied to my kitchen . I had numerous occasions I had arguments with him . He insisted he only agreed to spray my master vanities form the outside which he did .. The bathroom vanities were supposed to be treated like the kitchen and finished inside out. I had to paint the claw feet of my vanities and side panel because he insisted the bathroom was done.  There are too many things to list here that went wrong and he conducted himself not as a professional . We are being blamed now for changing our minds etc.. The truth is his job is unacceptable and we only paid the remaining balance because of his threats and to get him out of our house. Its 2 months into the remodel and I am still sitting in a kitchen that needs a redo worth several thousand dollar, have an unpainted exterior door, unfinished pantry  door, paint on a pocket door... never came back to hang doors ,still in possession of a drawer front of ours and said we can keep waiting. He said he did a lot of freebies for us and the 3 wall colors we had were an upcharge he didn't ask for. He never said that was an upcharge and when I told him why didn't you address that at time of color choice he said well you only had 120000 budget  and couldn't afford to spend more or are you lying ? This guy is not to reason with at all.  Cant recommend them for any paint job you need craftsmanship for. Didn't meet timeline and didn't complete the job and didn't complete it in professional manner either. If he had any integrity he would have walked and let me retain the $2500 still outstanding because of the poor result. It will cost us a whole lot more and time and stress to get it redone.

Communication with Eric was excellent from the beginning. He used a mixture of emails, phone calls, and text messages to keep us in the loop on what was going on with the project. His day to day manager, Baldo, was respectful of our space, a hard worker, and went above and beyond on several occasions.
Eric recommended a designer to draw up ideas, which we ended up selecting, and she provided renditions and a floor plan for each. This was a great idea from the beginning as it gave Eric and his guys a vision and plan to work from. They put us to shame on the remaining demolition and then got right to work. Moving walls, insulation, electrical, Eric's subs all showed up when they were supposed to or we knew in advance, from Eric, that they wouldn't be there and why. My wife managed most of the project from our end as I spent a good part of the time out of the state and they had no issues coordinating through her.
The only weak spot would be the tile sub that Eric selected; his grout work had him coming back 2-3 times to fix areas he missed or clean up "haze." To Eric's credit he had his sub come out 3+ times to make sure the work was done to his standards.
I would absolutely recommend Eric and his crew again. In fact, my wife and I are considering remodeling our upstairs bathroom and will give Eric a call!
