  • Dr. Provider name locked. was terrific and did a fast fix on my bad knee.   He was so easy to talk with, very friendly and very professional.   He seemed busy, but when he was with me, he gave me his full attention.   I saw him at two different offices.   The one at Kempsville had thin walls, and while I was waiting, I was able to hear what he was saying to another patient next door.   So that was kind of weird, but since they were talking about an ankle, it wasn't a very big deal.   I thought he was fantastic and would definitely use him again.

  • I saw Dr. Provider name locked. twice for severe knee pain, the first time the wait was a full hour from the scheduled appointment time and boy did I pay for it - from the snippy attitude of his nurse to his when he finally came into the room. This was not my initial visit to Atlantic Orthopedic, I had seen the PA the day before. The appointments are scheduled 10 minuntes apart and the later in the day the longer the wait time. Admin staff is poor, from long phone call waiting time just to make an appointment to more serious errors (such as not indicating in any of my records that a steroidal injection had been given to me). I begged for an MRI to be ordered for severe knee pain and Dr. Provider name locked. seemed to not believe that I needed it. The MRI showed a torn ACL and two seperate minicus tears plus floating cartiledge and massive fluid build up. When I came for the follow up appointment after the MRI I say Dr. Provider name locked. (again) one hour later than my schedule appointment, he had not looked at the MRI and had not even read the report. Fortunately, the radioly staff at Provider name locked. Securs suggested after the MRI that I come back in later that day and read pick up the radiologist's report of the MRI findings. Were it not for that report in hand, I would not know the extent of damage to my knee because Dr. Provider name locked. missed seeing the torn ACL on the MRI he glanced at. Needless to say, I do need to have corrective knee surgery but Dr. Provider name locked. , and for that matter, not one at Atlantic Orthopedic will be performing the surgery.
