    Gilbert Eye Care
The doctor examined my eyes, in part, using pictures of my retinas. One of the photos was taken in error. There was a shadow. The doctor didn't want to re-take the photo. She chose to examine my retina in other ways. Since I paid for the photos out-of-pocket, I didn't like that one photo wasn't that useful. The glasses took a long time to be made, 4 weeks. Then, the frames weren't the ones I selected. Then, I had to wait even longer for a correction.

I really like that company. They were very professional. It moves very quickly. The customer service is very good. It was like very friendly. Their workplace is very nice, you just feel comfortable, and it was just very clean.

Fine. As my only second eye care appt. in my life, I have little to compare it to. I believe that they did all they could for me, and I have no reason to seek an alternative care giver in the future.

Dr. Diane M Wallach OD, Selden Optometry
She has a great personality and is able to connect well with her patients. She is patient centered and very professional. The staff are also like Dr. Dianne in terms of handling patients. I was satisfied and I would refer her to other people. My friend started seeing her for optometry services.

    Seck, Dr. Paul W.
In general, it went fine. I was a bit put off by the antiquity of his approach. In the past, I have gone to optometrist that use the latest equipment to accurately measure everything, and it seemed like he just eye-balled it. That being said, the contact lenses he prescribed fit fine.

    Gadams, Dr. Jennifer
I had never been in the office before and the Optometrist Dr. Gadams was recommended by someone. The office was fairly clean and the staff was helpful and friendly besides a girl named Amanda. She was supposedly the front office manager and checked me out however she didn't seem to know what was going on and was talking to another staff member in a very negative way which was loud enough for the whole waiting room to hear. Anyway, I will definitely never go back to that office if Dr Gadams is still working there. The technician that started the exam and did all the initial testing was very knowledgeable, i think his name was Jay. My appointment was close to the end of the day and Dr Gadams kept coming in and interrupting while he was doing the testing and told him that he needed to hurry because she needed to leave. He finished the testing and dilated my eyes and he told me I had to wait 20 min until the drops worked. Dr Gadams then came in about 5 min later and saw that my eyes weren't dilated and seemed quite irritated. She left the room and I figured she'd be back in 15 min because she seemed like she was in such a hurry however I ended up sitting there for another 45 min. She came into the room and offered no apology or explanation as to why I had to wait so long. I didn't want to jump to conclusions however I was already quite irritated by this point. Dr Gadams then went on to ask me when my last Pap smear was which I felt was totally inappropriate for someone who isn't a medical dr to ask me and what does that have to do with my eyes. She then asked me if I've ever thought of trying Jenny Craig or weight watchers. I'll admit I could lose about 10 lbs however I'm very healthy and exercise 3 times a week. The whole exam was a nightmare and I left embarrassed and upset. I felt like I was being scolded and apologizing for who knows what. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!. She should stick to what she deals with... Eyes, which I even question her ability at that

    Drs Devito and Martin
I called to schedule an appointment and had my choice of several openings within the next 10 days. The office staff is efficient but not "chatty". I was seated and the assistant performed the glaucoma, peripheral vision, and other exams using the various machines. She then seated me in the examination room. Dr. De Vito arrived within five minutes, took a quick history to see if there were any changes or problems since my last visit and proceeded with the exam. He then dilated my eyes, left the room for a few minutes and then returned to complete the exam. He noted incipient cataracts but said there was no need for surgery for a few more years. He did say that the cataracts would prevent me from having 20/20 vision but that we could still correct for near perfect vision which my glasses do.
There is a sales area for glasses. Dr. De Vito always asks if I want to purchase there or elsewhere. As I no longer have a vision plan with my insurance, he accommodates me with better prices than I can get through the big retailers. I have bought my glasses from this company after my last two exams. The opticians are well trained, helpful and friendly. Glasses are made off site, so you must return a few days later to pick them up. In case of emergency (broken glasses, upcoming travel, etc,) that waiting time can be reduced to just a day or two.
In summary, despite the distance from my present home (25 miles) I see no need to change eye doctors. Dr. De Vito provides me with excellent care, fair prices and well trained staff members who manage all aspects of his office, insurance, billing efficiently and professionally.

I have been going to this practice for 10 years, and I like both doctors I have seen, Dr. Pegram and Dr. Martin. This practice is in a beautiful, safe neighborhood, and treats patients well. They do thorough exams and tests, and never rush you out of there like some practices do. When they order contact lenses for me, they arrive very quickly. I highly recommend Ghent Eye Care.

    Corey Family Vision/Dr. Mitchell Corey-Optometrist
I have been seeing him for 20 years. He is super awesome and my kids are also seeing him. He has been superb. He is just very knowledgeable and very thorough. He is very professional. Sometime he is a little late because sometimes he talks a little too long. The staff is super.

    Seipel Dr. Mark
He is very personable, friendly and a good communicator. I think their overall program for what they do for just a check-up is very thorough. I have never had some of the tests done until I went there. I have never had any issues with billing or anything.
