    Irish Accents & Renovations
Val and his crew did a nice job with our two bathrooms, and both spaces were absolutely transformed. We even had some issues with tile and grout after the job was done, and Val agreed to return and make things right. This was a theme throughout the project; when things didn't go as planned, Val took the time to work with us to make adjustments. Val and crew did demo on both bathrooms. They took out and replaced a tub, installed two new shower systems, rebuilt the tile enclosure for a stall shower, installed new wall and floor tile, lighting w/dimmers, and fans. They also installed mirrors (one recessed), along with a floating double vanity and a pedestal sink. A new closet with sliding doors was created in one bathroombuilt from wood with care, not pieced together from low quality particle board. Val handled all demo, framing, plumbing, electrical, and even installed most of the accessories like towel bars, etc. Worth noting: Vals employee Kenny did a beautiful job with the tile work. Both Val and Kenny were professional and trustworthy and a pleasure to work with. Overall were very happy with the outcome. Not a pain free process, but Val helped us find solutions, every time. We had a few issues around design choices and some install decisions, but generally things were fairly seamless, and we're super pleased with our new bathrooms.

    Ace Home Improvements
Very well. Able to work around my schedule once they found a technician to do the work in my timeframe. They had a huge obstacle to overcome. House built in 1909 and original door very unlevel. Other appraisal was 3 times the price (although much more bells and whistles) Mark was very friendly and ended up helping me with much more in addition to the door. Highly recommended!

    Stafford & Son Builders
I can not say enough good things about Stafford and Sons. Highly recommend!!. We have hired Tom twice now and are very satisfied with his work. We remodeled the kitchen, full bathroom, half bath and the family room. We are very satisfied with the outcome. Tom is very straight forward and honest about everything; he does not try and sell you on anything and allows you to make the best decision. Tom will also work with you on your schedule. his crew is on time and works around you. they clean up and make sure everything is clean. If I have any more work Tom will be the first and only person I will call. Thanks again Tom.

    Power House Painting
It went beyond excellent. A+ I have had quite a few not so great experiences with companies that I have hired to do work on our aging house. I had come to accept that the standard of workmanship I could expect in today's world was different from the one my father and grandfather had worked in. Power House proved me wrong! I first hired them to power wash my dirty home. I was so impressed with the professional, friendly team that cleaned years of grime away that I contacted Power House againthis time to repair my porch, paint it and repair my garage. I wish I had taken some before pictures because this was a big job and I wasn't expecting beauty...just a repair that would keep the mailman from falling through the porch. Well, once again I was blown away by the attention to detail, professionalism and pride in a job well done exhibited by the Power House employees.craftsmen I will say. The painters took so much care to make sure every detail was crisp and cleanly sanded and painted. And the carpenter (although I feel like he was much more than that) wasWOW! Just WOW! I will definitely hire them again!

    StairCase Creations
This stair remodel and door repair was, per contract, to begin on November 1st and take 3 days to complete. Work finally began on December 5th. Now, approximately 6 weeks after the job was to have been completed: -Robs subcontractor quit on him due to not being reimbursed for work completed. -Our deposit check of $1,924 was given to Rob on October 17th. Of note, he cashed it on the very same day. Rob has stated on several occasions that he no longer has the funds to move forward with the project, because when business was slow (between when he cashed our check on October 17th, and when work started on December 5th) he used our money to fund other projects. He has asked us several times for further pay advances despite the contract stating that the final 2/3 of the labor is due at project completion. -Only 6 of the treads and risers have been installed thus far, which continue to squeak and creak. This was our absolute #1 concern going into this project. Contract language: Repair cause of squeaky steps. -If the current design plans continue, the steps, which previously met code, no longer will. Specifically, code states that individual risers within a run of stairs will not vary in height by more than 3/8 inches. -Safety hazards currently include: All balusters have been removed, which poses a fall risk for both our active puppy as well as for the children of visiting family and friends; a hole due to a broken board on one of the landings which has not been covered; and flimsy 1/2 plywood which are serving as 2 of our treads since the original treads have been removed. -Cut the hall carpet too short at the top of the stairs, which will now have to be patched or replaced. -Large trash pile, to include boards with nails, that has been at the front of our house since work began, causing one neighbor to gently complain. Thus far, we have not been cited by the city for this. -Unreliable: We have juggled our schedules on multiple days to be here for meetings, measurements, work, etc, often resulting in no-shows. -At the time this review was written, Rob hasnt returned our phone calls in over 5 days. Other issues, such as the ongoing dust causing both of us and our puppy to experience frequent allergic symptoms, as well as having to reschedule visits from friends and alter our Christmas plans since our home is unsafe and unpresentable, are difficult to put a price tag on.

    ASAP CONSTRUCTION LLC
Very well. They were very knowledgeable and cooperative with my daughter and I. We stayed in the house while they worked. So they put up a plastic partition to protect the living area. I judged the materials they used to be of first quality. They removed and disposed of the damaged pieces and cleaned up everything.

This was an incredibly difficult and extensive property renovation. The crews which completed the work are some of the best craftsmen and women that I have ever met. The crews are concerned with getting the job done; and if it was not done correctly, they would fix it....no questions asked. Pleasure to deal with this professional crew.

    Anderson Flooring Inc
Anderson Flooring was an excellent choice for my project.  After a failed attempt with Lowe's and their subcontracted installers (who decided my job was too difficult for them after looking at my subfloor), I called Anderson Flooring to get a consultation.  I should have gone to them in the first place; it would have saved me both time and money.  When I called Anderson initially, I had a discussion directly with the owner, Ryan, and had an estimate done the next day with a full inspection of my situation.  The person who came out, Duane, was incredibly knowledgeable and did a very thorough job running me through what they would do to help me out.  They said they could help me out, no problem, and could get the install done the same week. The installers, Brad and Jesse, were incredibly professional, and took their time to fix all the little uneven subfloor issues we had.  They also worked through the weekend to get my floor project done and allowed me to get my house back after many delays and frustrations with Lowe's.
The finished product is amazing and Brad and Jesse did a masterful job.  Their attention to detail and precision was outstanding.
I would recommend Anderson Flooring to anyone.  I definitely learned my lesson this time to invest my money in businesses, like Anderson Flooring, with a vested interest in the community, rather than the behemoth Lowe's bureaucracy.  Thank you so much to Ryan, Duane, Brad and Jesse for helping me out and doing such a great job.  Very impressive work and great value.  I'm so glad I found them and gave them a call.

I cannot say enough good things about Tom and his crew/subcontractors.  We had a fairly extensive renovation planned as you can see.  Tom did what he said he would do, when he said it would be done, and was extremely flexible as we began expanding the project as the process went along.  Initially, we had planned only the 2 bathrooms, but as with any old house (our foundation dates to 1879), there is a never-ending list of things that work-but-could-be-better.  As one area improved, it just made the other deficient areas more glaring, so we threw them on also.  Essentially, we had our whole 2nd floor worked on, and corrected some deficiencies on the 3rd floor as well.  Tom was very transparent on the price, both for the initial estimate and for our add-ons, showing us exactly what the subs billed him.  If you need any tile work done, I HIGHLY recommend Tom, just for access to his tile guy.  We had some tricky areas in small spaces (older house, remember) that were handled spectacularly.
One thing to keep in mind - Tom is a general contractor, not a design-build firm.  To get the best results, he will need you to do some legwork as far as design and fixtures but if you can present him with detailed plan, his crew can carry it out flawlessly.

There was two small area of rotting wood on our shed and after contacting a few other competing companies who said they would provide an estimate btu never showed up or called again we contacting Ace.  Mr Lyon was always available and got back to us in a timely manner.  On the day of the job a two man crew performed the work on our shed, they were very professional and very hard working.  They did an excellent job and answered all the questions that I asked them.  The shed looks great and my Wife and I are very pleased with the results.
    Thank you Ace Home Improvements!!
