  • I rode to Toga in the rain, and was wet when I hauled my bike into the shop. Someone immediately told me to get out of the way. I waited for one of the many, many employees milling around to help me, but the few I nicely approached said I had to wait for a guy who was on the phone (on a personal call). I waited and waited. Then someone else finally helped me, but he tried to sell me on the super tune-up, which was over $100. Anyone quickly eyeballing my bike would have known that was a scam: it's a cheap bike but in fairly good shape. I stuck with the cheap tune-up, left the bike, and walked out fuming. When the work was done, they wanted me to pick up the bike immediately. I did as I was told, but again when I went in I waited forever for anyone to take my ticket and then I waited forever for them to get my bike. I bought some chain cleaner, and went to the counter. Even though there were two people at the cash registers, and only one customer, no one asked me if I needed help. Finally, the sales Provider name locked. who was waiting on the other customer asked the other guy to help me. Hello! The only thing I could figure out was that the employees are volunteers. Otherwise, the owner is wasting his money on a lot of arrogant slackers. As for the tune-up, I was impressed at first. The gears were smoother and less balky. But after riding the next day in Central Park, I noticed that the front brakes were rubbing on the front tire. Bottom line: unless you are a cycling addict, all togged out and with a great bike, don't bother with Toga. Take your bike to the corner bike shop, where you might find someone who seems to want your business.

  • Very helpful, make adjustments to the bike whenever necessary. We also get our stroller tires repaired here - one popped soon after the repaired it and they replaced it for free. They did a small repair on our scooter for free as well.

  • I had a flat tire last month way, way uptown- at the Provider name locked. Bridge. I took my bike in to get fixed and I was amazed at how quickly they got it done, 10 minutes maybe. I didn't even have time to finish the coffee I bought next door. The guys at the shop are very friendly. I got a tune-up and had an odometer installed here last fall, and the work they do is very good.
