Marina reviews in New York

They are very good. They are professional, not cheap but they are very professional. They also have slips that you can't rent and store your boat there but I didn't store my boat there. I used them for storage. They do many other things. It's a full service marina. They are high, but they do good work. There are probably people on this lake that do the work cheaper. They are professional. There are schlock people who do the same work and I wouldn't recommend them. Everybody wants their boat put in the water at the same time. It's a seasonal business, but they were always punctual.

First of all, I purchased a used SeaRay bow rider from Marine Max during the winter.  When I took delivery of the boat in April and there were some problems with the boat, they stood behind it and did the repairs very quickly and for free.  They could not have been any more responsive or fair.  Then in August I had a problem with the gear housing,  This was clearly my problem, and they promptly came to pick up the boat, called me to explain what the problem was and gave me an estimate.  They fixed it in only one day and delivered the boat to my dock as soon as it was done.  I could not be more pleased and would recommend them without any hesitation.  Everyone I have dealt with, from the sales person to the service dept., have been wonderful to work with.

    Echo Bay Marina LLC
It went great. They always have what I need. They are very nice, courteous and very customer friendly. With the price with the marina, I could probably do better online.

    StateWide Services Marine LLC
They solved the problem for me that was way beyond my expectations. Steve, the service manager went above and beyond to take care of the problem. You can call them during the winter months, and someone will almost always answer the phone.

    Bent's Fiberglass Works Inc
Bent was very professional & puctual in getting me an estimate and then scheduling an appointment for the work to be done. The job required the color to be matched and it came out mint.  I couldn't even tell where the repairs were done. It is hard to find an expirenced professional in this line of work and from now on this is my fiberglass guy!

    Prince William Marina
Their customer service was excellent. I liked their location, maintenance of their facilities and the things that they offered at their facilities. They are boat dealers as well as a marina. My overall experience with them was excellent.

    Chebeague Island Boat Yard
Pricing depends on the size of the boat. They do things like pump out your boat after a 4inch rain storm on a Sunday morning. They provide excellent service.

I have been storing and servicing my boats at Gateway Marina since 2001.  It is a family-owned and operated business.  I've gotten to know everyone on a first name basis over the years and they have always been friendly and helpful.  Even in the few instances where a discussion was required over an item, it was always resolved fairly and amicably.  I have found marinas that charge less than the $150/hour Gateway charges for service, but for the savings it didn't seem worth taking a chance of having someone new service my boat when I have always been happy with their work.
