    Snappy Tint
    According to the owner Chris Daigle "If you are going to complain about these things [he] will just give you a refund." Apparently leaving debris between the window and film is according to Chris a normal and accepted result when they apply films at Snappy Tint. To me the 2 weeks they tell you to wait for the bubbles to settle is more of a ploy to get folks to forget about the tint and it's defects. In addition to the bubbles and debris they left in the film and would/could not fix they initially left residue streaking down the side of my car's exterior and interior. Chris had agreed to provide some free services for the inconvenience but when I brought the car in to show him the tint issues he was unapologetic and upset that I was complaining about their work. He spent a total of 30 seconds looking at the defects before concluding he would just remove the tint. I suggest to take your business somewhere that the owner and staff care about quality and are professional enough to apologize and try and make right their shortcomings. I'll try and add the photos if it'll let me. Otherwise see Google review. Update: As I was waiting in the front area for Chris to take my car back I heard Chris ask Cindy if "that ******* is still here." Being a little concerned now for a total lack in professionalism and volatile mood of this guy I asked Cindy if she could get Chris so I could talk to him again. I told Chris I heard he thinks I'm an ******* but I'm not sure why or what I've done. He said I've been an ******* since I first came in because I was trying to extort his business. To be clear I had contacted Chris and Cindy about the residue that was left on my car because I was going to post a review and just leave it be but it seemed unfair if I don't reach out and see if they wanted to right the issue (no I didn't ask for anything Chris offered some free protective film.) Wanting to give the public an honest review is therefore extortion in his mind. Anyway after telling Chris I didn't want him working on my car and I rather take my car elsewhere for removal I asked for my keys to which he told me to call the cops. After a **** off by him, he threw me my keys and I left. Don't know what else I can say that this experience doesn't already.

    She is very good at what she does and she is always on time. She is down to earth and does an honest day's work for an honest price. I was grossly overcharged in estimates from other companies but she was different. I have been using her since 2013 and her work has been excellent. I would highly recommend her as well.

    Windows By Design
    Kelly Daniels with Windows by Design was contacted to offer
    a quote for roman shades for our two front doors. Kelly came by our home in Lakeview with a friend on 2/16/14
    in the afternoon. Once he measured and we agreed on a price, we paid him a 50% deposit, $315.50, via check dated 2/17/14. The checked cleared our bank on 2/19/14. Kelly stated it would take 6-8 weeks for delivery.
    My finance and I have made numerous attempts to first get updates and why the delay. After 11 weeks of us having to contact him for any updates we then asked for our deposit money back. Kelly said that would be fine, that was on June 3, 2014. As of today, August 1, 2014, we still have not seen the check and continue to get the run around from Kelly. We make arrangements to come by and we get to the shop and he's not there or if he is, he says someone else has the check and they will be back the next day. We go by the next day and no one is there. Kelly Daniels will not respond to my recent attempts to collect our refund check. I've called him, I've sent text, no response. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and have asked for their assistance in this matter. I feel my next step is to hire legal counsel at an expense to WBD. This has been a HUGE headache and very time-consuming matter by myself and my finance. After I did a little research recently, I found that I am not the only one Kelly has done this to. Please heed my warning, avoid Windows by Design. I recommend looking at other companies before going through the nightmare dealing with Kelly and Windows by Design.

    Budget Blinds

    When the binds came in they were too short and too narrow for the window. One side was so off that I could see my neigbor walk out of his back door to the car with the blinds down. As for the lenght they were not quite even touching the bottom of the window. She was pulling on the fabric to strech it out and make it touch. Then she told me not to worry when the fabric streches out it will be longer. When I told her the measurements were not acceptable she said she would not return them. If Iwanted them corrected I could pay 50% more to have the corrections done. I told her to take the blinds and leave. She was raising her voice to me and to her co worker. She was acting irrational and arguing with no desire to fix the problem. I called Budget Blinds the franchisor and they were basically zero help saying that its Brenda's business and she needs to handle. Terrible product and terrible service.

    08/13/2014 This is a response to the vendor's comments. We did not "lose" the credit card dispute. The card company cant move forward without a second opinion and I do not have possession of the roman shade to get a second opinion. Ive asked that the roman shades be returned. If the card company cant resolve the charge issue per their guidelines, then I plan to file the dispute in Orleans small claims. In addition I see that she still defends the measurements as correct. The blinds were too short and too narrow. With the blinds down I watched my neighbor walk out of his house and get into his car through the space between blind and wall. She could have resolved this whole issue by correcting her bad work. Instead she asked for 50% more to correct. Blinds were already $736. Not interested in an addition $300 plus to correct. This person is a franchisee of Budget Blinds. Beware that Budget Blinds has taken the position to not get involved in the business of their franchisees.

    The shipment arrived in a timely manner and Michael wasted no time in installing what had been ordered. Everything fit
