AThankful MoversThe move went flawless, I was in transition of homes and pressed for time. I had to move out of my 1800 sq ft rental house into my new house. Due to work I have to be out of town weeks at a time. So I had to hire someone to do the move for me. Not only did they offer a complete pack and move service but They also offered services to clean the entire inside, did all my lawn work and even offered pressure washing services. When all was said and done my rental place was immaculate for my landlord. First time I ever got my whole deposit back!!! When I got back home all my stuff was already moved into my new place. AThankful MoversIt went perfectly! It wasn't an easy move considering the weight and size of the item. The machine has edges that could have easily scrapped walls and doorways when maneuvering it through the hall and into a side room. Watching the move was like watching the most perfect game of Operation ever! The machine was left right where I wanted it and the crew were very kind, professional and respectful. FOk so I never do reviews. I work in customer service so I get how reviews are important, but I have to write a review because of how upset I am. This was the absolute worst moving experience of my life. I have moved throughout Texas and to and from New Orleans (about 10 moves in my life). They broke my media center, got black dirt all over my mattress voiding my warranty (trying to find someone to professional clean it is so expensive by the way), got black dirt all over my custom couch, took over 12 hours to move me (I am a single person that was in a one bedroom apartment), underpaid their workers who did not have proper materials, and then only gave me a $300 "discount" for the damages that still ended up coming out to the original price I was quoted (over $1,200 for the move). My couch is more than the move (anyone with a custom couch knows how expensive they are). The movers were very nice and older (so this move was very tough for them), but their owner is a younger man (who was not present for the move) and absolutely terrible and is NOT professional! He blamed me for the move taking over 12 hours. The movers arrived to my apartment in New Orleans at 8am and did not leave my new place in Houston till after midnight. I moved from Houston to New Orleans with a different moving company and it was an entirely different experience and very professional, but they were booked for the dates needed. This company is obviously available for a reason... because they have a bad reputation and will destroy your belongings due to improper equipment and not fit movers. They need to be removed from Angie's list immediately!
