    A Touch of Class
I'm a nurse who's on my feet all day and often suffers aches and pulled muscles from maneuvering patients around...I saw Jamie a couple months ago for a massage, and she was incredible! Her home was in a quiet neighborhood and she was very friendly, but allowed me to be quiet and drift off a bit during my hour. I left feeling so much better, and she did a great job targeting which areas of my body held the most stress, and even showed my some stretches she recommended I practice daily. I'd love to go back sometime...wish I could afford to do this more often!

First time with this provider. She was very professional and attuned to my needs and requests. There was a CD playing and although the music was good, the disc must have been scratched because it started acting up requiring her to stop the massage and replace the disc. She also seemed to have some sort of post nasal drip which had her repeatedly clearing her throat. I felt bad for her because there was nothing she could do. Still, because of the nature of the treatment, it was a little distracting. I also made note of the start and end times and my session was ended 6 minutes early. Not a very long time (but who wants to gives up 6 minutes of a massage?) I forgave her this when, before I left the office, she provided some stretching tips for me to do at home.

Very easy check in process. Service was excellent. Pressure of massage was just as I requested. The only thing that could be improved is maybe following the heating pack, which is damp, with a warm dry pack or towel so you don't have that moment of cold. But that's minor. Easy online booking.

.Stacie was great. She heard that I was on my feet most of the day and so she spent considerable time on my legs and feet, not sacrificing attention elsewhere. She was most attentive and knowledgeable, especially in finding areas in my back that needed spewcial attention.

I have been with her for over 5 years. She is just a really good therapist. The quality of her work is better than other massage therapists I've been to. She is friendly, but she is very professional.

A Cure for the Blues Massage Therapy
Hard to find location. The physical facilities were very dark, dismal and depressing. It did not appear to be very clean. Person giving the message was good and gave a decent message. It was the look and feel of the place that turned me off. Glasses in the sink appeared dirty and bathroom was not particularly clean.
This massage service was in a back room of her home. It was apparent that it needed some TLC. Picture shown on website is not a good representation.

    Massage Envy Spa
Terrible customer service. I do not recommend the membership plan as I had four months of billing and service issues which resulted in a not so relaxing environment. When I decided I had enough I cancelled and was billed for the unused portions. I had found two masseuses I enjoyed but the stress created from the customer service and billing made it a nightmare to deal with.

Advanced Healing - Massage New Orleans
From the moment I walked in the door, Norman made it a relaxing experience. We spoke at length about the reason for my appt, my needs, my preferences, (male vs female therapist). The general atmosphere was soothing. The massage itself was the best I've ever had. Norman communicated with me throughout to ensure it was enjoyable and therapeutic. Norman is great!

Advanced Healing - Massage New Orleans
I arrived about 10 minutes before my appointment and sat in the waiting room. The room is very and quot;New Orleansand quot; and feels like a place of healing. The massage started right on time. Norman asked me where I was feeling tight. I told him and then he explained that often the problem starts in a different area than the place where it hurts. Caution: this is not a Magazine Street massage. He worked on me for over an hour. It took a while and there was a little discomfort but he opened some blocked channels and the relief was immediate. At the end, he gave me aromatherapy and a blessing for good health. The whole experience from beginning to end was more than I ever expected.

This is a small shop so it's normally just the therapists there to greet you and get you comfortable. What I like about them (and what I figure others might not like) is that they are pretty no non-sense. This isn't a spa experience where you go to relax, this is more medicinal in nature where they want to work out all the kinks. Besides that, everything is pretty straight forward. There will be soothing music playing in a dark room.
