CAbsolute Lawn Care & LandscapingI am incredibly disappointed in the work performed by this company. The cost estimate given and the time to complete the project was off by half and therefore, I got caught with half the work done and no choice but to continue. If I was given a realistic time frame I probably would not have chosen this company. Their rate of $87/hour was very high but they promised that I would not be disappointed and when I questioned whether they could finish in the estimated time, they assured me that they worked extremely fast. That of course was not true. They seem to be much more interested in picking up checks and counting their hours then the quality of work.
In their defense, the 1st day of work was acceptable though expensive. Unfortunately, that crew did not return and the replacements while very pleasant did not know anything about plants and as a result plants were damaged, trimming was uneven, the sidewalks and patio left dirty and some of the agreed on work, simply not done. I was told if I wanted them to finish, I would have to continue to pay them to come back to clean up. So I now am $1,500 poorer and with a yard that still is not finished. Overall a terrible experience!

AAbsolute Lawn Care & LandscapingThey took down two massive magnolia trees (one was a dangerous/difficult tree growing literally on top of my house). It took a total of three days (they gave me a one day estimate) but did a GREAT job. There were minor scuffs to my porch, but with what they had to do, I thought that was reasonable. Joe (the boss) also offered to gut my backyard (we just moved in, it was an overgrown disaster) all for a thousand dollars cheaper than the next estimate (everyone else just gave me estimates for the trees, not landscaping too). Joe is a total New Orleans character. The workers were quiet and nice. Overall, a positive experience.
**Make your neighbors aware of what is going on, and find a time that the workers can go and clean up their backyard. THis was unclear and muddy. My neighbors weren't home, and they couldn't clean up much of the mess.- Jessica P. -
