  • Comforcare personnel were courteous and professional over the telephone as well as in person.  I needed them for just a few weeks, but their personnel arrived on time and were willing to assist with activities of daily living (laundry, mostly).  
    The services they provide are flexible--from a 2-hour bath visit to a 4-hour transportation visit--and their rates are reasonable.  
    They were friendly and competent.  I would definitely use their services in the future should the need arise.

  • Barbara came to the house about three days after my call to assess my situation and told me that my house stunk and I should call Stanley Steamer to perform a thorough cleaning. They accepted a deposit and promised to try to find someone to come to the house. I managed to convince them to get someone to help me with bathing as I had a doctor's appointment the next Tuesday. I also contacted a cleaning service to clean the house. They finally sent someone on Sunday to help me bathe. The person they sent, Cassandra, was lovely and performed good service. She said she'd come back if I needed her. I called the office to schedule her return, and they told me I'd have to have another visit before they'd send anybody back. They also told me they were having trouble finding people to work for me because of my dogs (three dachshunds, very friendly). About a week later, another woman (whose name I forgot) came to the house, agreed that it was much cleaner and said that the dogs were the problem, that many of their staff were afraid of dogs or were allergic. The upshot was that, although the kept promising to provide service, they never did. I found another service and called them to return my deposit, which they did. This went on for another two weeks before I wised up and got another service.
    I will admit that I had been unable to clean the and quot;dogs' roomand quot;, which has a group of piddle pads. It was dirty and smelled since I hadn't been able to clean it recently because of my injury. Once it was cleaned there was no more odor in the house. It had been cleaned before the second assessment visit.
    I feel that, if the condition of my house prohibited their providing services, they should not have accepted my deposit. The new service has provided excellent services with no problems. I will rate them later.

  • They get a good rating across the board.  It was very satisfactory.  I was very happy with the services.  The physical plan was good.  She was well cared for.  I was satisfied with the services there, there were some things I wish they handled different, but I couldn't complain about it.  The staff in general was very good.

  • The physical plan sucked.  The building was bad, the nursing care was excellent.  The office environment was very acceptable.  The professional care that she got was excellent, they took very good care of her.  I'll give you an idea, she took one of her diamond rings off because she always wore them and I didn't even think to take them off.  They called one night saying she's been trying to trade her ring for cigarettes.  They said to come pick the ring off.  They took very good care of her.  The people were wonderful.  The physical plan needed a lot of work, they didn't have enough office space.  People were sharing offices, no one was there during one shift and no ones there during another. They did send me a detailed bill every month.
