I selected a Dieffenbachia from the web site. They have a service that notifies when the order is received and when the plant is delivered.
When I attended the funeral, I found that the delivered plant looked more like an ivy plant. It was a healthy plant and of a good size, but I wish that they had notified me of the change. It made it more difficult to verify that my gift had been received. (I had to read the cards to find my personalized message).
However, the plant did arrive on time and looked quite well.

I ordered a "thank you" arrangement at Provider name locked. .com on Tuesday 11/19. Was assured that it would delivered to the recipient by close of business. I didn't hear anything from the recipient on Weds, so I called her at the end of the day and spoiled the surprise by asking how the flowers looked. Nothing happened after 24 hours. Called Provider name locked. on Thursday and was told that the contract florist failed to perform the contracted duty. Was assured that the flowers would be delivered by the end of the day Thurs. Called the receipient on Thurs. night. Still no flowers. On Friday night, I called Provider name locked. and complained that the flowers were not delivered, now on the second promise date. They assured me that they'd deliver a larger arrangement for my trouble (and 15% discount) and have it there by the end of the day on Saturday. The customer service rep was completely apathetic. In the meantime, the Provider name locked. .com website sent me a customer satisfaction survey. It's now Saturday. I've called the recipient , now a third time, to ask if the flowers arrived and still "no". (This is getting really awkward now. I've lost the whole surprise of the gesture and its effect). I wasted yet another 20 minutes on the phone calling Provider name locked. (third time). Was told that the florist did not deliver the flowers again. No explanation could be given or assurance. I was offered another floral upgrade (no remuneration this time), and another promise that the flowers would arrive, now on Monday. The recipient won't be at work at this point. The message has totally been lost. Three broken promises, no offer to refund my money, and now I'm headed for a fourth disappointment. I gave my honest opinion on the survey, was objective with all the customer service encounters, and Provider name locked. .com has failed to provide any level of decency or respect for this client.

We decided on May 18th that we were getting married on June 1, 2013. That gave us only 14 days to plan everything. After speaking with Provider name locked. , he assured me he could get exactly what I wanted and take care of everything as I had hoped for. He did! My flowers were beautiful and precisely what I wanted. I had specific flower vases that I wanted used and Provider name locked. accomodated me without question. He as more worried about my flower color being the shade I wanted than I was! I went to Provider name locked. with a couple of photos of what I had in mind and he made it all happen for me. I can't say enough good things about him.
I have a family member who has just decided that she, too, will be getting married in a couple of months. Provider name locked. was the first person I recommended to her. She saw my flowers and thought they were beautiful. I know he will do a perfect job for her, too.
