  • This experience was horrible. He contracted out my HVAC, electrician and plumber. The HVAC and electrical companies were professionals but the plumber from Plumbline plumbing was a worse experience than Provider name locked. . Let's start with the bathroom he claimed that he can do the job for a cheaper price. I brought the materials for the job and it looked horrible. The grout was messed up and not lined up properly. He knew that I knew that he didn't know what he was doing so he reimbursed me for my materials. when he installed my tub he cut the lip of the tub which made the tile crooked also. I had to hire a professional to remove and reinstall correctly. The back deck he constructed was crooked And I had to tell him numerous times to fix it and the engineer also pointed out his defiencies with the deck. He also installed a subfloor with messy cuts and the subfloor puckering up because he didn't install it properly. The paint was horrible with different shades everywhere including on the ceiling but still expected me to pay 7500 dollars. At this point I was realizing that he was not experienced to handle my project he was not doing what I originally paid him for which was making phone calls and getting quotes from different companies. So once I stopped letting him experiment on my home and stick to the project manager job he quit and even then I had to make the call to bring someone else in to install my flooring he packed his stuff up and quit. He was also placing orders on my lumber account and from what my neighbors told me he was loading stuff on his truck late at night. I had to do an audit of my account and had to pay for the things I did not have that he ordered. So he said I owed him 11000 for that raggedy paint job. Then when I didn't want to pay him until my audit was complete he put a Provider name locked. against my house. This experience was horrible and consumers beware especially single women consumers. Needless to say in my opinion he's a Provider name locked. of all trades and a master of none. I can go on and on about this company but there's just not enough time or space on this page. All I will say again is beware. I felt it's my obligation to let people know my experience so they can make an informative decision. I will be reporting my experience also to the BBB

  • This is our second time using Provider name locked. .   We live in the Quarter in a masonry Creole cottage.  The reasons why he is our go-to handyman:

    1.  Provider name locked. answers phone calls and texts; then he actually shows up.   We love our city, but most people would agree that a contractor that actually responds is somewhat of an anomaly.

    2.  Provider name locked. figures stuff out.   In our house, the aesthetics of the solution are as important as the functional aspect.   So things like masonry walls, limited crawl space, etc. present problems.   We don't want to see wires, plumbing, etc. tacked to the outside of a wall.   There is always a correct way to do it, and Provider name locked. will take the time to figure it out.  Most contractors will simply tell you it's not possible or they will wait for you to come up with the solution.

    3.  Excellent value.  On both jobs, Provider name locked. has completed the work at a fraction of the cost of other bids.  This time, he installed four foundation vents at half the cost we were quoted on the next lowest bid.   What's more, I asked him generally whether he could do this as he was walking out the door (having completed the work we had originally discussed); he laughed and had the four vents out and new vents installed in two hours.   As a result, my  flood insurance went from $3100 to ~ $800.

    4.  Provider name locked. carries a hardware store around town.  He has every imaginable tool in tow.  He pulls a large trailer, manages to figure out how to park it all in the Quarter, and does it without complaint.   Tool envy.

    5.  Finally, I know that if we are in a real bind, he will be there.   He is very busy, so we respect his calendar.  But we also know if the sh*t is going to hit the fan, he'll come running.   Thanks Provider name locked. !

  • It was pretty good. The best part was that they were willing to work with me on a rather expeditious basis.  They always answered the phone and were always willing to come in and help. When I had an issue following the installation they came out and took care of it. I guess there were some things they could have done better but I was satisfied. I would recommend them for their timeliness. I called and tried to get quotes from probably half-dozen contractors and Provider name locked. is one of the two that called me back.
