  • I was 10 minutes late because I got a little lost. However, Roman was gracious and made me feel right at ease. He was very professional. He reviewed what was needed to be done, the agreed price, and how long it would take. Since I had to wait for the work to be completed, he said I could change the TV station and pointed out where I could get a complimentary soda. I relaxed on the comfortable sofa and read my book. The time went fast and I was very pleased with the work. My car was very clean and did not have any debris. Roman explained what I may expect while the tinting cured but to come back if any problems came up. I was not happy I had to have the work done but was very happy with how fast and painless It was.

  • Vargas' was the lowest bid out of 2. He seemed to know what he could "fix" rather than replace to bring the price down. For example - the rear light was scratched. He indicated that he did not have to replace but could buff out the scratch. The other body shop I brought my car to just gave me an estimate to replace every part that was damaged including the bumper which was barely scratched. Much appreciated!

  • This was the second time I have used A Vargas Body Shop, the first was about seven years ago. I got into a car accident, with body damage to the front of my 2006 Acura. After my last experience with collision repair centers, I didn't bother getting additional quotes and drove straight to A Vargas. I only carry liability insurance for this older car so the repairs were not covered. Alex worked with me to use aftermarket parts and came back with a quote lower than I expected. They ran across some issues; they had to straighten the frame, replace an expensive headlight housing with an aftermarket part and even repaired an unrelated scratch on the back fender. They worked into the evening on a Friday and finished in under a week. I dealt with Mr Vargas (senior), seven years ago. And this time with his son Alex. This is a great family business and I highly recommend.

  • According to the owner Chris Daigle "If you are going to complain about these things [he] will just give you a refund." Apparently leaving debris between the window and film is according to Chris a normal and accepted result when they apply films at Snappy Tint. To me the 2 weeks they tell you to wait for the bubbles to settle is more of a ploy to get folks to forget about the tint and it's defects. In addition to the bubbles and debris they left in the film and would/could not fix they initially left residue streaking down the side of my car's exterior and interior. Chris had agreed to provide some free services for the inconvenience but when I brought the car in to show him the tint issues he was unapologetic and upset that I was complaining about their work. He spent a total of 30 seconds looking at the defects before concluding he would just remove the tint. I suggest to take your business somewhere that the owner and staff care about quality and are professional enough to apologize and try and make right their shortcomings. I'll try and add the photos if it'll let me. Otherwise see Google review. Update: As I was waiting in the front area for Chris to take my car back I heard Chris ask Cindy if "that ******* is still here." Being a little concerned now for a total lack in professionalism and volatile mood of this guy I asked Cindy if she could get Chris so I could talk to him again. I told Chris I heard he thinks I'm an ******* but I'm not sure why or what I've done. He said I've been an ******* since I first came in because I was trying to extort his business. To be clear I had contacted Chris and Cindy about the residue that was left on my car because I was going to post a review and just leave it be but it seemed unfair if I don't reach out and see if they wanted to right the issue (no I didn't ask for anything Chris offered some free protective film.) Wanting to give the public an honest review is therefore extortion in his mind. Anyway after telling Chris I didn't want him working on my car and I rather take my car elsewhere for removal I asked for my keys to which he told me to call the cops. After a **** off by him, he threw me my keys and I left. Don't know what else I can say that this experience doesn't already.

  • They charged me $45 for the oil change which was really high and I don't know if that included them driving the car to check on the noise or not. They didn't hear any noise which tells me that they didn't drive the car because you can't miss the noise. They were an authorized Subaru work shop and I'm not sure now. I would advise getting up front pricing before leaving the car. I needed the car serviced quickly, so I didn't take the time to address things properly. Knowledgeable people, but you need to be on top of them for pricing

  • They do good work and I actually know one of the senior inside advisors. His name is Charlie. He’s a good guy. He’s easy to talk to. I usually work with him when I’m getting work done. They didn’t change any of the fluid. I wanted the fluid changed because it was old and when it’s old it corrodes the metal working parts in it, but they didn’t replace the fluids. I had them inspect the brakes to make sure they were in good working order. They said they were. I said then change out the fluid which they did. I was satisfied with all the work. The price was a little higher than I expected, but then I’m often optimistic about price, not pessimistic. I don’t own stocks with the price. Yes, I would use them again.

  • I've used R & S for over 35 years. They are very knowledgeable and if you ask, they will explain in detail any work that they performed on your vehicle. They're also a very popular repair shop so you will have to call ahead for an appointment. They're honest and have never done any work that they didn't feel was necessary. You feel like you've been treated like family and not like you've been ripped off.

  • I would give them an F on service and price. They could improve on everything. They say they are going to wash your car when you bring in your car and they do not do they. They are very untimely and it is a long wait. For a premium car they do not treat you like a premium customer. Unfortunately I have to use them again.

  • Originally the cost was $120. Then they refunded the money after we showed them it was covered under a warranty. They sold us some extended warranty on the care, but no body seems to know about them, now to get them or how to use them. Calling and talking to people we got the run around. They sold us a type of warranty that they don't seem able to support. Interactions were pretty poor. It started out with people on site so they did seem to e able to answer the questions and they did not know anything about it. So they sent us to the finance people who got back to us fairly quickly. They sent us back to the people we originally talked to who sent us to the financing people. We tried to get a definition but they keep referring us to the issue. They sold us the warranty but don't seem to be able to support the warranty. We have to go somewhere else to get the work done. They should be able to support the products they sell. Or have someone knowledgeable about the products they sell. I would use them again because we have other components of the warranty there.

  • They told me that it was a leaking power steering pump so I let them fix it. Leaks continued so I took it back in. They had mot correctly tightened a hose clamp and as I was driving it to their shop the hose came off completely and sprayed fluid all over the engine compartment. Also, my coolant level gauge, which was previously working fine, was now indicating that my engine coolant was low. They fixed the hose clamp problem and topped-off the power steering fluid. Still leaking. Took it back and this time they said that it was a leaking power steering hose and wanted $375 to repair it. I decided to repair it myself and ordered the part online. As I was going to jack up the car to make the repair I noticed that they had badly damaged the lower trim on the passenger side of the car by not correctly placing the lifting points under the car when they put it up on the lift. I did not notice the damage until several days later so it was too late to accuse them of causing the problem but they most certainly did it. They bent the metal under the trim so the trim will not go back in place without body work. It is several hundred dollars worth of damage to me Cadillac Deville.
