Quick estimate and fast work. Was very professional from start to finish. High quality work at an affordable price. Highly recommend Philip. This was a mess I dealt with for years and had contacted numerous folks for help. People don't show up, get overwhelmed and don't call back with an estimate or try to rip off a single female. Philip was amazing and I'm so thankful to have found him. Update: Most of the work was done as per the contract minus a few little things that I questioned but decided to let go....such as the top of the retaining wall having a thick layer of dirt so plant things....and it was mulched instead. The mulch was thin and a few inches of digging you run into the concrete blocks and aren't able to plant much at all. I've had about half of the plants die that we tried to plant. I began having issues with the work soon thereafter it was completed. Water was still a major issue and his solutions did not work. I contacted him several times asking for repairs to be made on pipes that are coming out of the ground that were supposed to be buried. He has made two unannounced trips to my house which has a locked privacy fence so he couldn't properly evaluate or fix anything. He tried to get the Metro Parks to fix some issues he found which I had previous stated the Parks were not willing to fix and knew about. I thanked him for visiting but asked for help from HIM on his part. He stated that he was still thinking about how to fix the problem. It's been over a year and nothing has been fixed. He has never scheduled a time to come look at the yard or do work. I continue to have a messy muddy backyard. He has a two year warranty on his work but it's not being held up. He made a few emails and phone calls to apologize. I asked him to please give me some money back if he didn't know how to fix this like he thought he could and he has not replied. I think over a year is unreasonable and I have been more than patient. Some of the work is still fine, the gutters and drain spouts are good. The retaining wall itself is well made. The beginning to the end of the project was fine. It's just getting him to do the work on the 2 year warranty for things that aren't working or are coming apart. I believe he may have more than he can handle or perhaps doesn't know how to fix it but isn't willing to give any money back to find someone to fix it.

A 3 man team of expert equipment operators cleared out, widened, and lined with rip rap *500 foot of ditch* in a single day. Over the course of a few *more* days due to external problems, the drive was restored with a nice thick bed of crusher run material. Smooth as silk. Careful observations after a few heavy rain falls reveal that the combination of the deep gravel bed and the well thought out ditchlines help prevent any runaway erosion and direct the run off exactly where it ought to go. This drive and ditchline project was not cheap but will last a LONG time. Highly recommended. When seeking second and third bids for this project in the beginning, I had one other contractor recommend them. That says a lot.

From start to finish George Allin was the ultimate expert while being patient, understanding and personable.

During our first meeting as we walked my backyard I expressed to George what I envisioned in turning my previously rectangular typical back patio into a woodland retreat. While I was thinking inside the box, George wasn't. It is important to note that we collaborated. George listened attentively to my objective for the yard and he dished imaginative on-point ideas.  George's nature is such that your ideas are as valuable as his.  After our first meeting, we met a week or so later with the plan that George drew up and his "stone man" Craig Blackmer of Titan Landscaping. I was so pleased and in wonder with the plan that George put together.  He perfectly nailed my vision for the yard.  The three of us collaborated on the stone and materials and the desired style for the upper sitting area and lower patio and fire pit. (My backyard slopes from the home's level down to a large yard.)  After that meeting George and Craig came up with an estimate.  Meanwhile, given the impression the fellas left on me (I was knocked out!) I asked for an additional estimate for a pea gravel patio and walkway with a short boulder wall running alongside.

After all of the boring business stuff, I eagerly awaited the start of the project. Weeks before the project was to start, George, Craig and I met at a stone yard to select flagstone, fieldstone steps, and pea gravel. The three of us went shopping in order to choose the precise stone!  It was raining while we were there and Craig and George were as patient as can be while we colloborated and I counted on their experience and good taste. I was so excited to,get the project started!

After demoilition of the existing patio, George physically marked out the dimensions of the new upper and lower patios (including the fieldstone steps connecting the two) and firepit with my involvement and acceptance. He thoroughly communicated to the build team the dimensions and measurements. I should mention that at this point I had a change of heart moving from three boulder-walled tiers to two.  Craig said "easy, no problem" and made suggestions that were perfect.  I also added a bubbling boulder fountain along the way. These guys are flexible and problem-solvers.

After several weeks of expert hardscaping by Craig's team, including several visits by George and Craig, I have the most excellent woodland patio.  I would not change a thing.  The finished product is beyond my expectations. On top of that, George has offered on a number of occasions to accompany me a nursery to select plants, hedges and vines for the patio. He has also given me a list of plants that will suit the woodland style and sun versus shade.

George is simply awesome. I feel very lucky to have found him.

A call or text to either George or Craig was always answered. And promptly. When I couldn't reach Craig about a build-related item, George was always available to fill-in.

    Bravo, five stars, A+.

Everything went great. Mike kept me constantly apprised of when they were going to show up and what exactly was planned. He made two pre-construction trips out to insure I was good with the plan. It only took one day to complete the project as opposed to two days and the final cost was less than the original quote. I would recommend Lawnscape to anyone.

I had a basement that accumulated a lot of seepage, making the concrete floor moist most of the time. Advanced Solutions came out very quickly after I called, and pointed out all the things that the last company who worked on my basement tried to fix. He told me very clearly about how the ground water was getting in, and what would permanently stop it. Their team returned in about 3 weeks and did the construction in about 5 hours.
From beginning to end it couldn't have gone smoother.  As a customer, I understood exactly what they were doing, and even had a better understanding of how the water was getting into my basement in the first place. Both the leader and the team were courteous, informative, fast, clean and professional. They cleaned up after themselves, and left me with a beautiful basement that doesn't leak!
They have a 100% guarantee that if there's any seepage water in that basement at any time, they'll return and fix it free of charge. Highly recommend!

Philip Bayard is extremely professional and is by far the best communicator out of any service provider I have worked with. He is constantly in touch and is great at answering questions promptly. He even texted me to say he could pick up a product to help get rid of the moles that have been plaguing my front yard, and did I want him to do that while he was at the supplier, which he did and then delivered it to me. I ultimately chose to not work with Philip for the time being - not due to any fault of his at all or for the price he quoted, but simply because another person I had contacted for a bid on the project was a structural engineer and I felt that since a large part of the project had to do with retaining walls and drainage it would be better to have someone with a degree in structural engineering overseeing the work. That said, I have zero doubt that if I had gone with Philip, he would have done an amazing job, and when I have more money for my next landscaping project, I fully intend to contact him.

Chris was early for our initial meeting, had some great suggestions and provided detailed estimates both as a whole and itemized so we could tackle a large project in phases. The workmanship was great and he even went above and beyond with a side project that was not part of the original plan. The patio looks amazing and we're very pleased with the whole project. He does the work himself and is on site every day, which is a huge plus. We'll definitely be using him again this fall for another project.

We got 3 estimates on the work before we hired Brien.  His bid came in the middle of the 3.  Like some of the reviews mentioned,  Brien forgot his notes and didn't bring a copy of his quote to the 2nd meeting we had with him.  In all, the work is amazing and looks great.  He wasn't on site to do the work but his guys worked unbelievably hard, were prompt and kept the job site clean.  I will say this, I called him  for an additional job, a patio,  and he came back and measured but never followed up with a quote or return any calls.  Totally unprofessional.  If you are too busy or the job is too small, then don't waste my time while I wait for a quote from you and let me know this is the case.  So now, I am on Angie's list looking for another recommendation.

I got them from Angie’s List. They gave me an estimate. The pricing was pretty steep but they did a good job. It was normal for the kind of thing that they did. I got a couple of different estimates. I told them that I had gotten a lower estimate and they matched it. The estimate they gave me was $4700. I actually paid $1880. They did a great job. I told them I was talking to several different companies. They asked me to give them a chance to meet the other people’s bid and I did. So I was happy. They negotiated so that was good.

Jason did a great job with our backyard.  We had a huge concrete slab/driveway that took up almost half of our yard.  Jason cut out most of the concrete, used the remnants to level out the space, and made a beautiful new set of back steps, patio, and drainage in our yard.  He also made a great little fire pit.  He finished with leveling out the yard, laying sod/seed, and planting some plants.  The project was extensive and took more time than we would have liked, but most of that was due to a very rainy spring (and the need for dry ground to do the next steps in the project).  We would definitely use Jason again in the future.    He envisioned the project, created exactly what he said he would, and kept the cost to a minimum.  Now we have a very enjoyable backyard instead of a concrete parking lot.  We love it!
