To say we were grossly disappointed in this man would be an understatement. We obviously trusted him in the beginning. Once we realized we no longer trusted him, we had already sunk so much money into the project and we had a baby on the way so we just needed it completed.
Provider name locked. was incredibly disorganized.
He scheduled the cabinets to be installed before the flooring was put down, despite the fact that we paid extra to have the cabinets upgraded to a taller height.
He had sheet rock put up before mechanical inspection was done so it had to be removed.
We walked through the house countless times describing where light switches should be placed because he wrote NOTHING down.
Some areas of our home have several coats of paint and some have only one as there was no Provider name locked. or reason to the painting.
Provider name locked. showed a total disregard for our budget.
He was continually pointing us to highest priced ineffective solution.
He made decisions independent of us and of course always chose the higher priced option.
SNEAKY BILLING! Though not discussed or typed in the contract, it appeared on our bills that he was charging us for his own time to oversee the project in addition to the 20% he was getting for each person working on our home.
After my husband and I measure for and ordered a bathtub, this man charged us for 2 hours of his time to measure for the tub.
Provider name locked. appears to be unaware of the building codes.
He said switching toilets to be next to bathtubs instead of windows would not be an issue; cabinet man said otherwise;
He said putting plumbing on exterior walls in shower was fine; plumbing codes said otherwise and we had to build an additional wall and redesign shower after the fact. All while paying by the hour!
He told us we could have a marble shower bench; marble fabricator said absolutely not;
This man's website says he is a TN licensed HVAC contractor.
Our home failed HVAC codes.
Provider name locked. shows no attention to detail
He had his Provider name locked. , ONE painter, at our house for 5 months for 6-7 days a week, painting with a brush.
Despite us begging to have our home sprayed, he insisted on using his friends to paint. With a brush. Our entire home. They painted while trim was being cut in the next room. Our walls are littered with sawdust debris and brush bristles.
To our questions and complaints we were told we were being too critical. It's a million dollar home. Too critical??
Provider name locked. 's gross lack of professionalism was beyond frustrating.
His wife, who has absolutely nothing to do with this project and does not work with his business, called to demand that we be Provider name locked. to her husband. After going on about how hard her husband is working for us, she asked that we keep secret the fact that she called us. Our contractors wife called to yell at us about being too h****** her husband. Who WE were paying. Yes, that really happened. Crazy!
This man made sexual induendos to us as if we were beer buddies. I was pregnant. It was disgusting.
As a show of good faith, we purchased a bathroom sink. We asked him to purchase 4 more like it. He came back with 3 sinks like the one we asked for and a 4th that was different. Despite this sink being a different brand, he assured us it was the exact same and it was just in a different box. He told us he took the sinks out of the boxes to make sure they were the same. He lied to us.
When the fabricator came to install the sinks, he pointed out the size difference in the sinks. The fabricator had to wait while the contractor went to Home Depot to trade out the wrong sink for the correct one.
There are dozens of examples like the above one. We finally finished our home ourselves. We cannot recommend this man. At all. For anything.

They built a 2-car carport for me and later built one for my neighbor. The design had to match up with other carports of my condominium neighbors. However, once the six support posts were set and they started on the roof joists, Provider name locked. , the owner of Provider name locked. , made his crew stop. Even though other carports had been built with joists spanning approximately 20 feet, he felt that was not the best way to build the ceiling and roof structure. He felt that over time the ceiling and roof would sag and not be sound. He then ordered engineered trusses to be manufactured. This delayed the process about a week, but the overall result was a much stronger and more stable structure.
I was very impressed that he made the decision to go with the engineered trusses, which made my carport much stronger. I would never have thought of this myself. Plus, even though this added to his cost, Provider name locked. did not charge me more than he had originally quoted.
I definitely have and will continue to recommend Provider name locked. and Provider name locked. .

Let me start out by saying Provider name locked. is a very nice man. He is someone that I would like to go camping and fishing with or that I would like for our daughters to play on the same soccer team. But, I hired Provider name locked. Provider name locked. as a contractor to add an additional room and covered patio onto my home and his handling of the job and workmanship was horrible to say the least and cost me thousands of additional dollars to correct. I got Provider name locked. ’s number from a friend who had used him in the past, so I felt he would do a good job. I was very detailed in our initial meeting about what we wanted in the design and functionality of the new space. I gave him a rough layout of the floor plan and SKU numbers for all of the finishes we chose. I was very clear about the fact
that everything had to be inspected and had to be built up to codes. He agreed that was how he operated. From day one the communication between Provider name locked. and his staff was dismal. On numerous occasions I was ask detailed information by his crew because Provider name locked. was not present to instruct or supervise. During the process, we needed to add new decking and shingles to the roof. Provider name locked. did this without pulling the permit and placed the new decking over the old damaged decking, which we found out later is a code violation. When we approached him about this, he claimed, “he didn’t’ know” and was going to get a “Provider name locked. ”
engineer to override the codes dept. He did just that. He blamed the code department for being unfairly strict in their assessment and stated, “They Provider name locked. ’t know what they were talking about”. The inspector was female and after she left he called her every name in the book. He was very disrespectful. The project that he said would take 4-6 weeks took over 5 months because
he would show up whenever he chose. We would go weeks without seeing or hearing from him. The amount of basic construction building and code requirements that he didn’t know was staggering. He damaged our yard, our fence, and
ultimately built the room he wanted to build, not the room we wanted and paid for. He failed inspection after inspection and was
constantly having to “Provider name locked. -rig” our home. We had to hire another contractor to repair his mistakes and while that was being done, he put a Provider name locked. against our property. We sent him a check for the final bill just Although he is a very nice man and I’m sure he would be great to sit
next to in church, I would NEVER, under any circumstances, recommend Provider name locked.
Provider name locked. Construction to build anything.
