  • They scheduled a certain day, and the work was completed actually completed on that day. My experience with other marine service centers, is that you drop of your boat/trailer, and you'll get it back someday, so this was a pleasant surprise. Price was very reasonable.

  • We contracted with CCS (Charlotte County Seawall) only to be dragged around for every little thing they could do and delay us on. It started out "simple" but they quickly added more excuses to additional costs (shore is too eroded, you cant actually get rip rap now, your lot is too wet, etc, etc). It was an absolute nightmare. The front desk staff (ladies that attempt to greet their customers on the phone or in person are the rudest most obnoxious woman I have ever had to deal with. Incredibly unprofessional and outright arrogant woman. I stayed with CCS for 8 months trying to get a seawall, because I believed their reasoning behind all their excuses. I finally terminated the contract after they wanted over $50k for the job that started out as $11,000 job. I HIGHLY recommend NOT using this outfit. They don't know what the heck they are doing and are poorly managed. We moved to another seawall company, and after 3 weeks, YES!! 3 weeks...we have a wall, dock, and all the backfill PROFESSIONALLY done. It is absolutely amazing the work HONC did for us.

  • Mark is the owner of TwelVoltage and did the installation of a remote starter on my Lexus RX350.  After reading a lot of horror stories regarding poor installations of remote starters I was very selective in hiring a professional to perform the service.
    Mark was punctual, professional and personable.  I was able to watch him install my remote starter and was impressed on the detail and care he used during the installation.  And yes, the price was better than you see on Groupon with no games played.
    I would definitely use TwelVoltage again and will recommend Mark to family and friends.

  • Niccum was recommended by my neighbor, and I could see they had done
    quality work, and I called.  They asked me to send photos, and I did.  I
    did not hear from them for weeks, was promised a bid right away when I
    called them again, and finally I was told by email that I should look for another
    dock company as they didn't have any time to do my work.  It has cost me
    nearly four weeks to get to this point, and Now have to find someone
    else to assist us.  Very disappointing.

  • Last year we caused some damage to our boat by hitting some rocks.  It was a brand new boat so we were quite unhappy. The dealer we bought from (Hannay's marine) recommended Anchor Marine.  Vic worked with the insurance company adjuster, and it was seamless for me. I picked the boat up at a time when I couldn't really see it well, and stored it for the winter. Now that it is spring, I took it out and waxed it so I could see everything. The repair was done perfect.  There is no way I can tell where the damage was done. The color matching was perfect. I was more than just satisfied.

  • This was a superb experience from start to finish.  The company came very highly recommended by several people whose opinions I trust and I was not disappointed.  Jeanne did an outstanding job of making all of the arrangements and keeping me informed at every stage.  Nate, the driver, treated my boat like it was his own.  It's not a particularly easy boat to transport given its 14' width and the configurations of the internal bulkheads. When the boat was loaded, Nate was unhappy with the way that the boat was supported. He supervised the construction of a custom cradle using materials at hand in order to minimize the potential for damage in transit. The boat arrived safely and within 30 minutes of when they predicted that it would. Because it was an oversize load there was also a great deal of behind the scenes work going on to secure permits, escorts, etc., for all of the states through which the boat passed. I could not be happier with the entire process.  They can definitely count me among their extremely satisfied customers. I have recommended them to a number of people that are considering transporting their boats and I shall continue to do so.  If I ever have to move my boat again I wouldn't do it with any one but them.

  • Marc was very honest - he evaluated my situation and even recommended I replace my back cover in a year or two. He had great ideas on how to keep my boat dry and also added ventilation for better air flow. I've used Marc for all my boat cover needs over the years and always very satisfied.

  • Chose the easy method with a flat $140 repair cost including shipping costs for a 14in stainless steel prop. No problem at all, all arrangements done on the net, printed off prepaid shipping label repaired in 3 days; total time from shipping to return was less than 1 week. Repairs were expertly done. Excellent service. Would use again without hesitation. A local competitor costs $170 and takes about 3 to 4 weeks.

  • Used the easy method, preset cost for prop repair and shipping both ways. Very reasonable cost -- 14in stainless steel propeller repaired for $140 including the shipping. Very convenient--no issues, took 3 days for the repair, looks perfect. Would use them again without hesitation. Another local prop repair store asks $170 for the same repair and shipping and takes 3 weeks to finish.

  • They then suggested a few different things in addition to consider. In the process of doing those items they fixed a noise issue that I hated and found a coupling that was dislodged and could have sunk the boat. Also instead of going for the $$$$ kill they suggest two other items but mentioned I should do them in spring. I appreciate honestly like that.
