  • Poor. I took the items in on August 19 and was told they'd be ready September 4, or thereabouts. By Sept. 11 I had not heard anything and so called to inquire. They were not done. I called one week later and they still weren't done. I finally said I would just pick up the stuff and get my money back, but when I went to the shop, Provider name locked. and behold, they were being worked on. They were ready the next day but I was not impressed with the work. The spot where the strap was replaced had a big purple Provider name locked. on it. The guy said it was brown dye so it would match the shoe, but it looks like purple magic marker and does not match at all. Lots of excuses, not professional, poor workmanship. I feel like the work only got done because I called and went in to ask about it repeatedly. Plus, they make you pay up front so you pretty much have no recourse when they hold your stuff hostage.

  • I had difficulty getting to the store before it closed. The first time I tried to drop off my shoes I arrived fewer than 5 minutes late. The "open" sign had already been turned off, but the lights were still on and I could see the owner in the back room. I knocked several times to see if I could just drop off my shoes, but the owner never acknowledged me. Even if he wasn't willing to let me in after hours, I would have appreciated it if he would have acknowledged my knocking and asked me to come back when the store was open. My other two interactions with the owner were markedly socially awkward. The quality of his work was fine, but it was not at all easy to interact with him.

  • My boot heels looked so bad that I was ready to throw out the boots altogether. The heels were worn down past the sole of the heel. Provider name locked. re-soled the heels, somehow filled in the worn areas, and polished the heels and boots. They look great! The work was completed in timely manner. Note that pre-pay is required.
