Pet Cremating reviews in Minneapolis

Excellent. We had chosen in-home euthanasia service through Blue Skies Pet for our very elderly dog whose health had failed rapidly. The dog was transported directly to Pet's Remembered by Blue Skies and we received a call later that afternoon that the ashes were ready to be brought home. We chose to go to their location where we were provided with a beautiful wooden box with a carved top containing the ashes. They also provided resources if one needed help dealing with loss and grieving. The staff was very empathetic and we felt that their entire service was respectful of us and our pet. We appreciated their kindness and professionalism.

Very well - the admin staff was very caring, professional, and helpful in scheduling a time, the Vet was on-time, caring, extremely professional, didn't rush anything, and most importantly was able to finally put my very loved dog to rest painlessly. The vet was very kind in guiding us through the whole process, and they are very respectful with the remains. They have cremation options for the body, and can return the ashes or not if you prefer.

Steven J. Routsinoja, D.V.M., was extremely gentle, polite, and patient. He didn't rush us and was very sorry to have to be there. I highly recommend him for anyone going through something as tough as this or even if your pet just needs a check up and the car stresses them out.

Dr. R was extremely knowledgeable and you can tell he has a compassion for animals. Pets are family to me, and my wife and I took work off to be with our cat for his last day and say goodbye in our own home. The price was also very very fair. For two in-home visits (including euthanasia), and a clinic visit with X-rays and fluid testing, the total cost was under $1,000. When we are ready for our next pet, we will be using Dr. R

They provided excellent service at a very sad time for us. They also did ink paw prints for us and also gave us a lock of Jack's hair. A few days after we picked up the cremains, we received a very sweet card of sympathy in the mail from them. Their compassion and attention to detail helped us navigate a very difficult time.

Blue Skies Pet vets are amazing women. Dr. Corcoran was on call when I needed their at-home services. I did my due diligence researching at-home services online. Blue Skies Pet bios, philosophy and general compassionate language convinced me to reach out to them.
I cannot explain how at the first call, Dr. Corcoran was instantly understanding, compassionate and knowledgeable of our situation. Dr. Corcoran had all the time in the world for me. We spoke for maybe 30 minutes. I made initial contact on a Monday just to learn the process. Two days later I needed to make the call I dreaded most. It was time. Dr. Corcoran was helpful and kind and made me feel at ease.
Dr. Corcoran somehow was already family and we welcomed her into our circle. She was involved and invisible at all the right times. I put all my trust into her, and she could not have been more respectful and caring to our dear cat. We believe our precious cat experienced a peaceful passing in her home, surrounded by those who love her most. That?s the most we could ask for; we are so thankful.

Skip, Carol, and Emily were extremely helpful at a tough time of our lives - cremating our dear four legged baby.  No matter when, Skip would answer the call at all times.  Took great initiative to make the process easy for us - working with the U of M to make the process easier for us.  Communicated through out the time. We even received a call a week later from Carol checking to see how we were doing, Skip knew that we wanted the ashes soon and accommodated the request by cremating the night of the same day that he had our pet.  We would highly recommend them based on our own experience. Thank you, Pets Remembered!

Our elderly cat had to be euthanized at the University of Minnesota veterinary medical center.  Pets Remembered came the same afternoon to pick up her remains.  They called us at home that afternoon to talk about the arrangements.  We were able to pick up her remains the next afternoon.  The vet school had made a clay paw print, and Pets Remembered already had that with her remains so we didn't have to drive all over town.  Pets Remembered had also made an ink paw print and took a little snip of her fur.  Her urn was a lovely carved box.  All of this perhaps sounds morbid to anyone who hasn't suffered the loss of a pet, but it was really lovely and very comforting at a time when we were very traumatized.  We arrived home from work to find our ailing cat and less than 48 hours later, we picked up her ashes.  The prompt, professional, and respectful way in which Pets Remembered handled the process was so appreciated.  When our last kitty died, we did not have this level of service and never received an urn or a paw print, and this was all so much better.

This is always a sad moment, and its not the first time in our lives we have needed this assistance. We had hoped that our cat would die quietly in his sleep, but when he became increasingly uncomfortable, it was a blessing to be able to do this all at home, and with one phone call, and certainly less stressful fo him to remain in his own bed. Dr Amy was respectful and supportive, and most importantly, it was clear that our cat was never uncomfortable in the pricess. Given the time of the year, burial at home was not an option, and he left cozily wrapped in a basket with her, for the cremation.  We have other cats in the home, and she offered us helpful advice about transitioning them into the new household situation. We appreciated her help, and would recommend this company to anyone in a similar situation

The entire process was carefully planned and comforting to us.  We were referred by a veterinarian who assured us that owners, Skip and Carol, are really good people.  True, they are, but they are also caring and experienced professionals.  They answered our call immediately, addressed all our questions, met with us at our appointment time,  and allowed us be with our kitty as long as we wanted.  Their facilities are spotless, private and quiet.  We will always be grateful.
