My beloved pet and sidekick for almost 12 years, Provider name locked. , was diagnosed with cancer in early October. We decided to proceed with surgery and thought we had a good result, however, although indications were that the cancer had not spread, we soon learned that it had. I had so hoped to have Provider name locked. for more years, but it was not to be. It was difficult to "know" when the time was right to let her go, but I felt that she was telling me with her eyes. We arranged for home euthanasia through MNpets, recommeded by my Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Provider name locked. came to my house on December 20. She has such a loving and gentle presence and put us all at ease. She took the time to meet Provider name locked. , my daughter, son and I, and to listen to some of our fond memories of Provider name locked. . Provider name locked. was not nervous at all; it was a blessing not to have to take her out to the Vet one last time. We cryed and laughed a little as we told stories of Provider name locked. . Dr. Provider name locked. was so loving with Provider name locked. it really made this experience one that we will remember with thanks. Although I regret the situation, I am so thankful that we had the opportunity to meet Dr. Provider name locked. and take advantage of the opportunity to say goodbye in the privacy of our own home. Thank you Dr. Provider name locked. ; you are truly a gift to the families and pets you touch!

After consulting with Provider name locked. 's usual veterinarian, I decided to call Dr. Rutsanoyja. (Prior to this, I didn't know that there was a house call veterinary service, or I would have been using it all along...Provider name locked. hated riding in the car).
When the Dr. arrived, he was very kind, very patient and explained the euthanasia process to me very clearly. He gave me as much time as I needed with Provider name locked. and I never felt that I was taking too long or like he was in a hurry to get out of there. That was especially important to me, as I had lived with my sweet Provider name locked. for 19 years. She was such a sweet girl and it was difficult for me to let go.
I had Provider name locked. cremated and asked for the ashes to be returned to me. Dr. R told me how long I could expect to wait and then took her little body with him. He took care of everything and was very, very kind.
This happened about 2 years ago and his manner and kindness have stuck out in my mind. I couldn't have asked for a better person for such a difficult job.
I don't remember if I got the cost right. Whatever I paid, it was worth every penny. Besides, the Dr. has no control over the outside cost of private cremation, which I believe is the expensive part.- KIMBERLY C.
