    Kane, Patricia
I went to Dr. Kane after suspecting I had bacterial vaginosis. She asked me if I was in a monogamous relationship and about how many partners I've had in the last three months. Why these may be routine questions, her response was extremely judgmental and unacceptable. She actually asked "why so many? what's going?" I should not have to explain my personal life to my provider and feel ****-shamed. This experience made me feel extremely upset and uncomfortable.

    Allstar Construction Maintenance
Would not recommend this company for anything.....poor quality service, very poor quality work, unprofessional...overpaid for sure on all jobs here.....nasty mouth too. Actually removed walls that did not need removing....so many issues with them.

    Maple Grove Ambulatory Surgery Center
I cannot say enough about the professionalism of this center. Everyone, from the front desk to the nurses, were friendly and respectful. I arrived very early, yet they called for me almost right away and began prepping me for the surgery. The nurses did a very good job of inquiring about my health issues and state of mind and informing me about what to expect with the procedure. Although they are probably not surgery center employees, the anesthesiology staff and my surgeon were also very attentive and thorough with their explanations and precautions. Although they did not collect a co-payment from me, the approximate cost listed below is the co-payment that I expect to owe for the entire procedure.

    Parkway Family Physicians
They give AMAZING care. I have been going there for nearly 30 years and have talked my parents and other family into using them as well. They take however long you want to be sure all of your questions are answered and that you are completely comfortable. Because they are an independent facility, they are more than willing to take as long as necessary to provide any diagnosis and treatment plan. They offer full spectrum family medicine, that is, birth through death care, making them versatile and well versed in a variety of areas.

    Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital
I was told everything looked good. No attempt to follow-up with any helpful info. My attempt to find out what the next step would be was met with hostility. "You can ask for help. Our job is to tell you, no."

    Schroeder Chiropractic
I talked to Dr.Staff on the phone. I wanted to come in their for an evaluation and a message. It was supposed to be free due to an AL promo, but it ended up not being free. The evaluation was not going to be a charge per Dr. Staff. There was no talk about therapies during the phone call about the evaluation. It was explained if there was going therapies and the cost not explained either. I came in to have the evaluation done, once the evaluation was completed he began to do Chiropractic adjustments. I asked him if there was a fee before he continued with the adjustments. Dr.Staff explained there was a fee and apologized, he thought he had gone over the fee's over the phone call.I felt like he knew there was a fee, and I feel like he did know that he didn't explain that to me over the phone. I asked him to not continue with the adjustment since there was a fee. Unfortunately, since he only adjusted one side to my back, it caused a flare up with the other side of my back. There was ALOT of confusion with the pricing and the free evaluation and what the cost of service was. The office manager seemed to not understand the pricing of the therapies of the office. There was a lot of double talk and it was very confusing. Once I explained there was double talk going on, they became defensive and very uncooperative, and unprofessional. The message therapist was great and very helpful. She did a very great job and went out of her way.The only issue I had was with the office manager and Dr.Staff. They were not accountable and very misleading. The office itself was clean and comfortable. It was the OFFICER MANAGER that I grade a D!

    Lunds Pharmacy
It's only for convenience really. There's really not very many pharmacies out there that are in CVS. There's no like little pharmacies any more.  So I just go to Lunds, because that's where grocery shops are, it's easy. They are fine. I certainly haven't asked many real questions or anything.  I feel like the only thing negative is that they are small. My son gets an inhaler and it was a certain inhaler stick, it was a sample and it was really great, and they don't have that yet. And they are going to use up the old stuff and so we can't get the new. But it is fine. It is convenient.

    San Diego Burial at Sea
It was an amazing experience.  Tawanna and the crew did an outstanding job!  They helped me coordinate every portion of the service.  It could not have been easier.  They truly take care of their clients!

    MEDICA
I talked to two different people regarding two copays being charged on the same clinic visit and regarding a copay on a screening procedure. In the former case, the agents told me that I had made two "stops" at my clinic, therefore two copays and that I would be charged a copay every time I "stopped".  For the screening procedure, I was told that the coding indicated it was an outpatient hospital procedure, even though it was scheduled as a 100% covered screening exam. The clinic claims that they coded it according to Medicare rules and that the insurance company is responsible for copay decisions.
I made a further call asking where I could get details of how copays would be applied, and was referred to the HR department at my former employer - that is, they refused to tell me what was in their plan.

    Fairview Southdale Hospital

Everything went extremely well at Southdale Fairview Hospital, 6401 France Avenue South in Edina EXCEPT a horrendous and abusive experience in the operating room right before going under the knife.

For some reason, the anesthesiologist, and CRNA were having a difficult time putting me to sleep. This was hard to understand since my previous surgery experiences had been quite effortless, and actually pleasant. Because of their apparent frustration and anger, I assume, suddenly someone very forcefully shoved the mask that I was suppose to be taking deep breaths into, hard into my face several times before I finally went to sleep. Actually I don't know who did this but I assume it was the anesthesiologist because he was the one in charge, and he was the one who came into the recovery room afterwards to apologize.

My surgeon, who had been in the room  but not yet at my bedside while this was all happening, said in hindsight the next day that perhaps I hadn't been given the customary "Versed", and she surmised this because she felt that I was being way "too aware" of the whole episode. I have no idea whether I was given Versed or not. What I do know is that I was expecting things to go just as smoothly as they had during past surgeries at two other hospitals.

There is no way that I would ever go back to Southdale Fairview Hospital for anything.

By the way, I reported this incident to the manager of Patient Relations before I was discharged. She was very gracious and said  there would be some follow up on this. I'm still waiting.
