I have been taking salsa classes on and off at 4 Seasons for approx 5 years. I've gone to other schools/classes too but I like this one the best because they focus on people having fun rather than preparing you for competition. They don't ignore form and timing, after all it's needed when two people are going to dance as a couple, but it's not the main focus in the beginner or intermediate classes. Their prices are reasonable and classes are available several nights a week. My favorite instructor is Provider name locked. , who teaches on Friday nights, but I've worked with other instructors there and all of the regular ones have been good.- EDWARD M.
The 7-10 Provider name locked. ballet class was great for our daughter. She had just finished up 3 years of ballet at our local park and rec center, and we wanted more serious instruction for her -- but we didn't want to overwhelm her with a regimented ballet school approach. A friend of ours recommended Provider name locked. as a great place to learn dance with a more casual atmosphere, and it was a great suggestion. Dancers aren't tied to a certain uniform and have the opportunity to express themselves, but instruction is good and serious. Our 7-Provider name locked. will be signing up for the next session.
Our 9-Provider name locked. 's experience with Hip Hop was a little different. First, instruction was not as good. Second, two classes were cancelled by the instructor (we enrolled for 10 sessions at $100, saving us $2 per session over the $12/class rate). Make-up classes weren't available for this type of dance instruction; however, she could use her "credit" for another class at another time during the same 10-week period. Unfortunately, this did not work out either with our schedule or her interest. I would appreciate being given more time to use the "make up" sessions -- maybe in the next following dance session -- especially if class was missed due to the instructor cancelling. Our 9-Provider name locked. will not be signing up for next session, but mostly because she is also in two other activities at the moment.
All the above positive grades for Provider name locked. are based on the experience of our 7-Provider name locked. and the ballet instructor, who is fantastic.

My suggestions to have a great experience with this is
1. Bring music and videos of people dancing the way you'd like to,
2. Do be too uptight. Have fun, even if you feel like you're making a fool of yourself,
3. Practice between lessons. Memorize the steps and let him improve your technique at the lesson.
4. Speak up! Tell him if you want to change something of jazz things up a bit.
My next step will be competitive Salsa! (just kidding)
