Tile Installation reviews in Minneapolis

The whole process was fantastic. In addition to his professionalism, Sean is very knowledgeable and skilled in his trade. In many areas of the project, he went above and beyond our expectations. What was once an ugly and unused room, now is a pleasant, beautiful room to relax in. Thank you Sean!

    EC Construction LLC
Eric was great! We were crunched for time and he had no problem making the deadline. He coordinated well with us too. We are very pleased with how he worked and with the final product. Wed definitely hire again!

    Anton's Floorcovering LLC
It went great. During the original bidding process, I appreciated Antons knowledge of the process, his understanding of how other installers sometimes try to cut corners and his willingness to answer my numerous questions. I was most impressed by Antons commitment to doing things right versus doing things easier or cheaper. For example, Anton highly recommended that all appliances be removed so the tile would be installed over the entire floor. Similarly, he recommended a radiator be temporarly removed so the tile could be installed cleanly, thus looking its best. Though not the cheapest bid received, I knew AF would provide the high-quality workmanship I demanded. They did. My installer, Vladimir, was a true craftsman and a true gentleman. Anton and his project manager, Sergei, did a great job communicating throughout the process, stopping by regularly to check on things and following up via phone to make sure I was pleased with progress. The entire AF team exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend AF.

    JNJ Carpentry LLC
Great. Jon managed the entire project and dealt with all the insurance back and forth. He made sure everything was completed and covered by insurance after i had had frustrating calls with them. The project was a big upheaval for my family entire main level of 4 Bedroom home had to be fixed, refinished and painted etc.... The good communication and timely progress eliminated much stress in our home. It was almost a pleasure seeing him and his crew each day for a few months, but much nicer once our home was back together again looking fantastic. Thanks again - always confident to recommend you guys - terrific job!

They do excellent work. Even when the scope of the project was changed mid stream, that was no problem. They are dedicated to quality craftsmanship and meeting the needs of their clients. I would highly recommend them. Run don't walk to hiring them immediately.

    A to Z Contracting & Remodeling
Val and his team did a beautiful job on a bathroom remodel. Val is a very knowledgeable and responsive contractor to work with. He was accommodating and helpful with design changes and was involved daily to make sure the job completed on time. I'm very pleased with the finished product and would highly recommend A to Z Contracting.

    Cutting Edge Remodeling LLC
Cutting edge was great, really happy with how the work turned out. The project was one I started years ago, and hired them to finish- they were very good about picking up where I left off. They were also very good about suggesting some details that we hadn't thought of that turned out great, and nicely talking me out of of some other things I had proposed. The only thing I suggest is be very clear on who is getting the permits if you need one for your project, and who is picking up which supplies if they are not handling it all- typical remodeling contractor advice. Overall very satisfied.

    Christopher's Masonry & Tile LLC
I would give Chris an A+! My husband found him on Angie's List about 7 years ago and he rebuilt our brick garage wall. Even though he no longer does masonry work, he is an expert! He has also done a kitchen tile backsplash for a design client of mine and it looks beautiful. He pricing is more than fair because his quality, attention to detail and service are the best of any craftsman I've worked with. He treats your project like it is his own home and no one does a better job. Chris is THE BEST!!!!!

    B & R Hardwood & Tile
Everything went exactly as planned from the cost estimate, the scheduling, the contractors appearing on time, the overall schedule and the communication between Kurt and Carole and ourselves. We were always in the loop and each step was planned according to our convenience and thoroughly explained along the way. We were never surprised and always informed of changes and cost modifications. The workmanship of their subcontractors was excellent and we have hired them back separately for other minor household updates. I would strongly recommend this entire team!

    K2 Bath Deck & Kitchen
The end result looks very nice, but the process for getting there was painful. Three points: 1. Project design: K2 did not verify that the toilet could be moved and still use the existing stack (which was visible). The design plan violated a simple plumbing rule and could easily have been discovered pre-project. Instead, K2 did not learn this until after the bathroom was gutted, the wall was moved and reframed. And, the custom cabinets were already onsite. This resulted in a major redesign, extending the project time by three weeks. 2. Project Timing: At contract signing (mid-Feb), the estimated project start date was mid-April with an estimated duration of 6 weeks. The project actually started in mid-June, and took 4 months. Three weeks are attributable to the redesign. Repeatedly, projected start dates were missed without any notification from K2. 3. Uneven quality of work: The finishing work, including the tiling and plumbing, was excellent; these K2 employees were very skilled and great to work with. However, some of the framing carpentry was terrible and needed to be redone multiple times. Some electrical fixtures were installed poorly and two were not connected properly in the attic. The subcontractor's installation of the quartz countertop took three trips, and the installation of the below-counter sinks needed to be corrected by K2.
