    A to Z Contracting Inc.
Val and his team did a beautiful job on a bathroom remodel. Val is a very knowledgeable and responsive contractor to work with. He was accommodating and helpful with design changes and was involved daily to make sure the job completed on time. I'm very pleased with the finished product and would highly recommend A to Z Contracting.

    Cutting Edge Remodeling LLC
Cutting edge was great, really happy with how the work turned out. The project was one I started years ago, and hired them to finish- they were very good about picking up where I left off. They were also very good about suggesting some details that we hadn't thought of that turned out great, and nicely talking me out of of some other things I had proposed. The only thing I suggest is be very clear on who is getting the permits if you need one for your project, and who is picking up which supplies if they are not handling it all- typical remodeling contractor advice. Overall very satisfied.

    Christopher's Masonry & Tile LLC
I would give Chris an A+! My husband found him on Angie's List about 7 years ago and he rebuilt our brick garage wall. Even though he no longer does masonry work, he is an expert! He has also done a kitchen tile backsplash for a design client of mine and it looks beautiful. He pricing is more than fair because his quality, attention to detail and service are the best of any craftsman I've worked with. He treats your project like it is his own home and no one does a better job. Chris is THE BEST!!!!!

    B & R Hardwood & Tile
Everything went exactly as planned from the cost estimate, the scheduling, the contractors appearing on time, the overall schedule and the communication between Kurt and Carole and ourselves. We were always in the loop and each step was planned according to our convenience and thoroughly explained along the way. We were never surprised and always informed of changes and cost modifications. The workmanship of their subcontractors was excellent and we have hired them back separately for other minor household updates. I would strongly recommend this entire team!

    K2 Bath Deck & Kitchen
The end result looks very nice, but the process for getting there was painful. Three points: 1. Project design: K2 did not verify that the toilet could be moved and still use the existing stack (which was visible). The design plan violated a simple plumbing rule and could easily have been discovered pre-project. Instead, K2 did not learn this until after the bathroom was gutted, the wall was moved and reframed. And, the custom cabinets were already onsite. This resulted in a major redesign, extending the project time by three weeks. 2. Project Timing: At contract signing (mid-Feb), the estimated project start date was mid-April with an estimated duration of 6 weeks. The project actually started in mid-June, and took 4 months. Three weeks are attributable to the redesign. Repeatedly, projected start dates were missed without any notification from K2. 3. Uneven quality of work: The finishing work, including the tiling and plumbing, was excellent; these K2 employees were very skilled and great to work with. However, some of the framing carpentry was terrible and needed to be redone multiple times. Some electrical fixtures were installed poorly and two were not connected properly in the attic. The subcontractor's installation of the quartz countertop took three trips, and the installation of the below-counter sinks needed to be corrected by K2.

Exell Ceramic Tile & Stone Co
Great and on time work! Val came out quickly to do the initial quote. We scheduled the dates for the work soon thereafter. Val and his tiler were punctual, neat, offered a few suggestions, and completed the job on time.

Filipp and his crew were very supportive. Initially, when other contractors didnt think the flooring could be done as requested, or with weeks delay, and not letting me source the material, Filipp came in right away, gave the estimate and was ready to work. They removed all carpeting and installed bamboo flooring throughout the house, including stair cases. The install went well, finishing on time, despite some logistic and install challenges.

Mike and his crew spent approximately 5 months working on multiple areas in and around our home. We added a third stall garage and mudroom/laundry room to the first floor, we added a basement bathroom, remodeled a 4 season porch to use year around as an additional main floor living space, bumped out a small second floor bedroom to add an additional bathroom and larger bedroom to make a master bedroom and en suite bathroom and finally a new 6 foot cedar fence to keep the dogs in our yard. Mike was quick and responsive to our initial meetings, questions, ideas and budget. He was able to creatively rethink the layouts of several of our rooms to keep our budget in check and still give us everything we were wanting. As the owner and general contractor, Mike kept all of his crew moving, supplies delivered and his several sub contractors on time. Mike and his crew are full service...they can frame up, handle tree work, install doors & windows, install siding, install cedar fencing, lay tile, sheetrock, paint, complete finishing work, etc. Mike was able to get our foundation work completed in October so his crew could work all winter long rather than waiting 9 months to start due to our freezing winter temps. We had a standing weekly appointment, at our home, to go over the progress, answer our questions and talk about next steps. Keeping the lines of communication open was huge considering we had no idea how much knowledge and work was necessary for the size of job they were working on. Mike's crew dealt with our 2 dogs during the day and 5 people attempting to live in the construction areas while they worked! We were very pleased with Mike and his crew. We will immediately turn to Higgins Construction when we have any additional renovation/construction needs.

Above All Tile & Stone Inc.
My experience with Above All Tile & Stone was exceptional from start to finish. The tile shower with glass door and tile flooring looks fantastic. John and his associate were able to get the tile shower and flooring done in 6 days. The glass door is heavy duty and is custom fit so measurements were made after the tile was installed then the glass door was fabricated and installed about a week later. Above All Tile works with Hopkins Glass for the glass door fabrication and installation. John and his associate are incredibly hard working, courteous, and you can tell they take great pride in their work. Some grout spots were missed (very common) and they were out right away to touch them up. They also did a great job in communicating to me the various components of the job including expectations for each day, timelines, and breaking down and explaining various options when key decisions needed to be made. I have hired them before and I will hire them again. If you are looking for high quality work at a fair price, I highly recommend Above All Tile & Stone.
