We arrived at our checking time and were greeted and checked in. In about 5 minutes, a nurse came out and took us back to an exam room. She checked our 4 year old's vital signs and made it fun for him. She notices that we were low on chalk for the chalkboard in the room and brought in some new chalk for our kids to play with while we waited for Dr Helm. Dr Helm came in about 20 minutes later (I consider this relatively on time for doctors) and was just great to interact with. We walked through the scenarios that we had been experiencing and he listened attentively and asked good questions along the way. Just like the nurse, Dr Helm made his interactions with our children fun. He provided some treatment recommendations, filled out the proper paperwork to proceed with that course, asked if we had any more questions, and we were done.

They do their dermatology and stuff out of their clinic which I use but I know is available. The other is they have a physician who specializes in treatment of allergies and asthma which I'm affected by. It's a pretty good clinic from my perspective. They have a couple of specialties that they deal with in the clinic in addition to their normal everyday primary care. It's a great group of doctors and I really will recommend them to anybody in this area.

The actual treatments from the first time have worked for me.  The first 3 months I went two times a week.  Sonmore would ask how I had been the past week and if I had itchy eyes, throat or trouble breathing he would place the needles in a different place.  I felt immediate relief.  An example is when I had lung congestion he would place one near my ear and have me take 3 deep breaths and I felt my chest open up and I could breath without pain.  I am now going once a week for continued care.  Sonmore also gave me herbal medication which I still take twice a day and when I miss a dose I can tell (my sinus' get plugged when I miss it).  I know I go into a super relaxed state when in the room because I fall asleep (almost).  A few times when they came in to remove the needles I've said that I just got in 10 minutes ago - and I'm super shocked when they say it's been 40 minutes!! I can tell that this method of treatment works for my body.  I have a few chronic illnesses where I must be on medication so being able to eliminate an allergy pill and wake up in the morning not feeling dragged down has improved my quality of life.  Prior to treatments I was taking a 24 hour pill every day (over the counter) and during the first three months of treatment I only took 3 pills!  Sonmore also goes over food choices too.  Complete Oriental is a whole package program and I'm very happy to recommend it!

Dr. Nicholas is an ok guy, though a little wooden in his bedside manner. I was surprised when he didn't want to do the skin test to try and figure out what were causing my hives, saying they would probably turn out inconclusive. I went along and took the medication he provided, and then a new type of med, which did help with the itching but not the hives themselves. Then he had me do a two-week session of Prednisone, which was uncomfortable and didn't help. During the past few months, he didn't give me any kinds of advice other than take my meds. On my own I've experimented with eliminating several typical allergens from my diet, wtih no success. At my last appointment, he prescribed a powerful immunosuppresant usually used for people who've had an organ transplant. At that point, I decided I'd had enough. I'm getting a new allergist who will actually do the skin test and work with me to figure out what's causing the hives, rather than just give me more and more powerful drugs to cover them up.

After a greeting, He goes over notes from the last time, asks for changes, listens carefully. Then careful and gentle examination. Then his conclusions. Then do I have any questions or anything to add. Then idea for increased health and cordial leave taking. After a short period, nurse is in, and I'm done. I feel good.

They did a real good job of treating me for allergies, testing for allergies and testing my asthma attack I had. The asthma ended up more than I expected. I had good treatment plans doing samples instead of having me been hide into the prescriptions and stuff like that.

I have been with them for over 5 years. I would absolutely give this office A's in everything. They helped me when now one else could, they got me straightened out and kept me through maintenance, now I can breathe again. When you are a patient there, you become part of their small little family and everyone is very supportive.

I was treated nicely and respectfully but felt very rushed. I had very little time to ask the physician questions. I felt that it was hard to communicate with her because she seemed to have to leave to attend to other patients. When paying $200 for the office visit alone, I expect more attention from the physician.

Nursing staff and receptionist are great. Doctor was pretty old-school and didn't appear very interested in what I had to say, however, he is not my regular allergist so this didn't bother me too much, seeing him was just a formality to be able to receive my allergy shots at their office. The shots are very easy to get there, no need for regular appointments, you just go in when you're able and they fit you in right away. Super convenient.

I was able to get in almost immediately due to a cancellation. I arrived on time, got in on time, and got my prescriptions for the meds I needed. Dr. Guyer was friendly and provided me with all information I needed before taking my trip.
