The entire complicated trip went off pretty much without a hitch.
We wanted to see all of New Zealand and Provider name locked. on a 2 week trip. He (and another travel agent) told us you need about 4 weeks for that sort of trip. So we limited the trip to New Zealand and the Great Provider name locked. Reef. I had looked at the New Zealand website and saw the variety of things to see and do. He asked us what type of things interested us, told him the wildlife and The Lord of the Rings locations. Asked if we wanted to drive at all on the trip. How much we could spend. What type of hotels we wanted to stay in, i.e. 4 star, motels or something in between.
Before our next conversation, I researched New Zealand and Provider name locked. and found places we wanted to go. When we spoke to him about specific places he agreed that they were all good choices and put together a preliminary itinerary for us to look at including the names of hotels and the various tour companies. I looked them up on Travel Advisor and they seems satisfactory. He added a one or two little excursion he thought worth while as well.
It was very complicated getting everything coordinated over August, September and October like renewing passports and sending him copies to obtain travel visas for Provider name locked. . But he was very willing to reply to my email asking "where are we on this", "did I send you that", "is there something you are waiting for from us."
The only bit that's a bit confusing is we booked airfare through a partner company Beaches Travel. The format of the emails from them, the flight information, and stuff was not as readily forthcoming but she also replied to my stupid traveler questions when I was confused.
The whole 18 day trip went off very smoothly. Tour vouchers and information were left at our first nights lodgings in both countries. Tour operators were punctual and friendly.
FYI: We traveled Premium Economy on Air New Zealand and the extra money we paid was TOTALLY WORTH IT!

It did not go well. Out daughter's godparents were celebrating their 15th anniversary and wanted to bring some couples with. We just recently were married so we used this as our honeymoon as well. They wanted to go through Provider name locked. . I'm skeptical of travel agents because it's so easy to get your own packages now online, but it was the godparents' show, so I went along with it. Because we were a decent sized group, we went with them hoping for a deal. We bought a higher end package (at least for us) where we would be in a butler village with our own butler. We were given some discounts, which was supposed to include a $250 spa credit. Our travel agent was not on the ball. We told her we wanted to pay the whole trip up front, she only took a deposit. She did all her contacting through the other group, not to us. How hard is it to cc someone on an email? We get there, things were running alright, but then we go to use our spa credit and it's not there. We email her and she says that we didn't have one. So after 4 emails back and forth (Doesn't sound like much? Who wants to argue on emails with someone thousands of miles away while on their honeymoon?), she says to save our receipts and she'll reimburse us. Well, it's almost four months later and we haven''t heard a word. Who's job is it to do the leg work? Well, what am I paying you for it's all on me to do all the work. I was very disappointed in them. I will not use them again.

I've worked with other travel agents before but Provider name locked. is the only agent I would go back to, everything went off without a hitch. From the flights to arranging train tickets and water taxis. The hotels she recommended were fantastic (we are really picky about that) each being a 4 star and with the price very reasonable. She was super easy to work with and very accommodating, plus the fact we did everything either email or on the phone, which with my busy schedule, made life very easy.- ROBERT N.
