Professional service, quality product, fair price. Highest praise for communication style--throughout the company, throughout the process. I highly recommend them, and would definitely use them again.

    SUPERIOR GLASS BLOCK
Very well. They showed up on time. Laid tarps under the windows to catch the debris, removed the old windows and hauled them away. The new glass block windows look great. The mortar joints around the window are smooth and clean and blend in well. They even repaired preexisting cracks and chips in the concrete surrounding the new windows. We highly recommend them.

    MILWAUKEE GLASS BLOCK
Milwaukee Glass Block did a great job. I couldn't be more pleased with my new bathroom glass block window! The installers arrived on time and got right to work. Old window came out (and was taken away, not left for me to dispose of) and the new window went in without a hitch and in a reasonable amount of time. Workmanship looks good, and they left zero mess. Would recommend the company to anyone looking for courteous, professional service at a fair price.

Cant believe these people sent me an email requesting me to review them. The owner is very nice. Arrived promptly. We went through the basement thoroughly. He took measuremts. Asked what I wanted. This was on on Wed or Thursday. He tells me he will get me a full quote with all of the details and designs by Monday. I thought that was incredibly fast and unrealistic, but okay. Monday comes and goes. No contact. I waited a week. Emailed them and asked if they were still interested. Oh yeah they were out of town at a trade show. So why tell me youd get me the plans if you knew you wouldnt be around? Not a good sign. My basement is really easy to refinish. Electrical, walls, windows, flooring and a cabinet. I waited and waited. Weeks went by. I finally got an email with a drawing -literally of a rectangle with some dimensions of the basement and I was supposed to tell him what I wanted. What? He was supposed to tell me the quote and give me the design, since we spent 45 minutes discussing this in person. I could have drawn the rectangle he sent me on a napkin, thats how professionally done it was. I emailed him back and said that I was told that Id get designs with a quote. Well the emails never have a signature, so I never knew who I was corresponding with. Nice guy, but no follow through. If he couldnt even give me the specs - what are his skills like? I wasnt interested in figuring that out. I got his name from a trade show. Not a very good company to recommend if you want any follow through.

Outstanding. The crew got their measurements quickly, arrived on time and it was obvious that they treat their customers with care and their work not just as a technical project, but as art. I gave their info to my construction contractor and my neighbors. This was only for one window, but I expect to do additional windows after construction and grading are complete.

    Energy Masters LLC
Energy Masters treated me with the utmost professionalism, even compassion. When a small job in my home revealed a problem with the underlying structure, they were flexible and knowledgeable and were able to efficiently repair the unexpected problem so that the planned job could proceed. At the end of what turned into a very long day they took the time to clean up my home and their outdoor work area and made sure I was satisfied. The workmen were very courteous and respectful of my needs at all times, and Jim is definitely a trustworthy man of his word. I could not possibly be any happier with the way things turned out.

The new window leaks a steady stream of cold air. My old mortared window didn't have air leaks coming in. When they removed the old window they dented the aluminum trim around the outside of the window which was totally unnessesary. Now I need to pay and siding contractor to replace it which raises the cost of my project considerably.

Truly excellent job: my basement went from making the house unsalable to solid and bright. Al and his "boys" are extremely skilled and efficient, and absolutely meticulous in every detail. I can't imagine how the beaming could have been better secured or more solid; they chipped out and re-mortared the cracks, and mortared the beams to the wall flawlessly. They even cut some tile away to secure the beams directly to the floor. The windows are well-made and they figured out an installation problem (there was a gap between the outer bricks and the foundation) at no additional cost (they brought in extra bricks and installed them). There was a very large bin to move on the outside and they took the time to empty it and put it exactly where I wanted it. Even then they had to work around a deck, which I was not charged extra for. Finally, they helped me with my new washer-dryers too! The drain was plugged and they noticed it overflowing and fixed it, and there was a leaky hose which Al fixed for me himself. All at no charge. They are truly the best and I'm planning on hiring them for a drainpipe repair later this season.

Excellent. The windows themselves were much more beautiful than I expected because Security doesn't use mortar: their blocks are put together with a clear adhesive. This allows more "block" per square foot because the seams are thinner, and the whole thing admits light. Their staff took the time to explain the various block options, and seemed genuinely concerned that I understood the privacy value of each: it's like they actually cared about my personal security, They also guided me to an aesthetic option ("ice") and helped me fully understand the difference between brick-to-brick and existing frame. As a result I'm thrilled with both installations. Bill, the scheduler, was sweet, and my installers were a pleasure to have around. They were working the same day as a different company put in glass block in the basement and there wasn't a bit of conflict. The young man who did the finish work was (literally) an artist and it shows. I would definitely use them again.

I have used Jim and Energy Masters for several home improvement projects over the years. The service is top notch, the pricing is fair and the work is always very good. The biggest advantage of working with them is that Jim is an honest broker, he doesn't try to upsell you or say something needs to be fixed if it doesn't. As well as be clear if a project can wait a while to be addressed. He seems to emphasize doing quality work as much, if not more than quantity. It's rare to find a family owned, small business that does excellent work, at a fair price and has above board business practices. You have that with Energy Masters.
