    I haven���t been to a mechanic outside of a dealership in years. Based on errors made by the dealership when I purchased my current vehicle I have no warranty, which I���m not use to at all. All of a sudden I needed to find a mechanic. Of course I immediately went to Angie���s List, my go to for almost everything. Felsing had great reviews and as an added bonus is close to my home. To say they were awesome is an understatement. Professional, kind, caring, and honest. The price quoted was accurate and fair. They also gave me information on some up coming repairs that will need to be done in the next 6 months to a year along with estimates so I can plan. The fact that I was able to find someone I am comfortable with is a huge weight off my mind. They are my go to going forward and I would definitely recommend them. THANK YOU!!

    I called before going and the person that answered the phone talked to me in detail about several tires and worked with me to select the ones that would be best for me. They had them available for me in just a few hours. I'm very happy with my purchase. It was about 1/2 the price of what the dealer quoted.

    It's been quite good. They are very friendly. They get a hold of me in a timely fashion. I guess the only one problem I have with them is I wish they would've given me a car for the day when I dropped my car off. I had to provide my own transportation. But otherwise, the service is good and they give me notices and keep me ahead of things. They been pretty reasonable on price. They do good work. I've never really pinned down any times on things. They give me a call when they are done. At times I have dealt with them, they might not have been as friendly. Not like I was a preferred customer but more like I was just there to get stuff done. Most of the time, they are good but there has been a couple of times where it seems I was taking up their time.

    Greitens Auto Service
    I pulled off the freeway with a flat tire at about 8:30 am and happened to come across Greitens Auto Service first. I feared getting into work either hours late or work clothes in disarray from tire-changing. The workers at Greitens clearly had cars to work on, but immediately changed my tire. They were very polite (offering coffee and hot chocolate), professional and efficient. The bill came to $11 and change and I got to work on time. I couldn't be more pleased with their service.

    I had first taken my car to Two Guys Automotive earlier in the year because I had a Groupon for an oil change.  I was impressed with their politeness and professionalism.  In fact, while I was waiting for my car, I heard two different customers compliment them for their work.  At that time, they recommended that I get new tires, which I already knew I needed.  They quoted me a price, and after researching a bit, I found that their price was very fair.  I dropped off my car the night before, and they had my car ready the next day, despite a snow storm which affected their schedule that day.

    LUCKEY'S TIRE & SERVICE
    These guys are quick, honest, affordable, and good.  I've used them twice now with two different vehicles and plan to use them for all my service work in the future.  They say they do just about any mechanical work in their shop shy of rebuilding engines.  Both times they were able to take care of me right away.  They were able to give me prices off the top of their head for routine work, and their prices are very reasonable.  Kurt runs the show and is straightforward and articulate, and explained what they did, and what to expect in the future.  I used to oversee maintenance and repairs in the heavy marine industry, and these guys so far seem like the kind of mechanics who won't waste your time and who you can trust.

    ROSEN NISSAN SUZUKI KIA DAEWOO
    Right after buying the new car I was driving over railroad tracks and it was very rough. Everyone said it was fine, even the President said it was fine, making me feel crazy. Turns out they didn't deflate some of the air out of the tires. I needed some work done and the two times I took it back I had a horrible service, leaving grease on the seats and the headlights not hooked up. I am very unhappy with their professionalism and service.

    Burleigh Brake & Alignment
    I'm new to the area, saw this provider was close to my house and had some good reviews. I stopped by to see how things worked, I learned that Burleigh Brake & Alignment required advance appointments for work to be performed so I made an appointment to have them take off my summer tires and mount and balance my winter tires.  My appointment time was set for 10am, I showed up 5 minutes early.  I was told (without any form of an apology) that they were behind because the other person he works with did not show up for work yesterday or today and he was therefore behind.  I was told if I came back at 12pm (2 hours later) that he would have me in and out.  I showed up at 12:00pm, tossed him my keys and took a seat in the waiting area. I was told at 2:45pm (almost 3 hours later) that he was finished and was then charged $154 ($140 for labor, $4.95 for parts and $8.12 of tax).  I have had my tires changed from Summer to Winter tires before and have never paid this much for this type of service.  Needless to say when one is required to make an appointment it is assumed that service will be performed at the time the appointment is made or else it is assumed that a phone call would be made to let us know that they are behind and to please come later or re-schedule.  At the very least when the customer shows up for a scheduled appointment and you are behind and cannot honor the appointment made far in advance that some form of apology would be made and empathy shown.  None was given or shown. The guy was nice enough, he seemed capable and knowledgeable. I got the job done but it took most of the day and cost $154. My suggestion is if you plan to have service done at Burleigh Brake & Alignment that you make an appointment and then call to confirm they are ready for you before you head on over.  Might be a good idea to get an estimate too?  Needless to say I did none of these things and paid the cost in wasted time and money.

    I went in for an oil change because the service light came on in the car.  I was told when I got to the dealership that a tire rotation was all that was needed.  I asked the person at the service desk to confirm that their system had free oil changes for the life of the car in their system as the next date it would be needed.  This was part of the agreement I had made when I purchased the vehicle from this dealership as I had this on my previous vehicle with them.  It did not.  I spoke with the service manager when I returned to pick up my vehicle about this.  He could not find anything in the system to indicate it.  I asked him to check with the owner of the dealership about the oil change agreement, which he said he would do the following Monday.  I had to call him back on Thursday, three days after he said he would get back to me.  His message was that he had spoken with the owner and that the program had been eliminated ten years previously.  I was not alone when I purchased the vehicle and all who were with me remember that free oil changes was part of the deal when I purchased the vehicle.  It was the main incentive for my purchasing the vehicle at that dealership when I compared prices between various dealerships and the various incentives that came with the car.  I live over 30 miles from the dealership so convenience was not the deciding factor on my part when I purchased the car.  I have been a customer of Don Jacobs Toyota for over 20 years and have purchased several vehicles from them.  Clearly, customer loyalty and satisfaction and honoring their purchase agreements is not important to them.

    O'REILLY MOTOR CARS
    I went there to have a sound diagnosed.  They could not find the source of the sounds but told me that I needed to have all 4 of the front control arms replaced and both sets of brakes.  They charged me $3200 for this and it took over a week.  Furthermore, now the brakes squeal and when they did the alignment after replacing the control arms, the steering wheel is off center.
      I'm suspicious I didn't really need all 4 control arms replaced as one was replaced just about 20,000 miles ago and should not wear out that quickly.
      Also, they recommended replacing the camshaft magnets.  I know this sounds complicated, but it really is a 5 minute do-it-yourself job if you look online, and you need no special tools or knowledge.  They offered to change one for $700 and all four for about $1000.  It is a $25 part you can order from amazon and literally takes 5 minutes for each one.  I feel like they were trying to take advantage of me.
      I think they tried to run up my bill, quality of repairs is disappointing given the brake issues and the steering wheel being off center.
      When I asked them to center the steering wheel, they blamed the problem on my wheels and told me I needed to replace those, that this was the problem (even though the problem did not exist before their alignment, only afterwards).
      I think they are crooks.  I will never go there again and I would strongly advise others to not do so either.
      If they have any response to justify this, I would love to hear it.

    Addendum: I contacted the owner by letter to explain my concerns.  The service tech apologized for the camshaft magnet pricing and explained his misunderstanding of the repair.  The owner has made an attempt to address my concerns to my satisfaction.  He seems sincere and I will update this review next month based on that next interaction.  He asked me what I needed to be satisfied as a customer, and I asked merely for the brakes to be adjusted and the steering wheel as well.  Will update ratings after that.

    ADDENDUM #2:  I took the car and they centered the steering wheel to my satisfaction and worked on the brakes that were squealing.  The brake solution worked for just a couple of weeks but then the squealing started again.  Once again they agreed to look, replaced the brake pads again and that solved the problem, no cost to me except for the inconvenience.  They did keep working on the solution until I was satisfied and were very accommodating.  Overall I didn't like the fact it took so long to fix the problem and required so many visits, but they were professional about it and made things right.
