They were prompt, very polite, well spoken ,and respectful of the property. They called before they came and even showed up early. They looked at what I needed done and unfortunately could not perform the service but I would definitely use them again.- Marina G.
The frustrating part is when I called both numbers listed on the website no one answered. All throughout the day I tried calling and sometimes the line had a busy signal and other times it rang 30 times and no one answered. I tried for days to contact J & J Waste.
I have not yet been able to speak to anyone or even leave a message.
Unacceptable customer service.

When I saw the two short positive reviews here, I felt I had to speak up. The Better Business Bureau site is Provider name locked. with terrible reviews and unresolved complaints about Provider name locked. .
At first (starting in March 2012), our service was fine. Reliable, with no problems, though the time they would arrive varied from early in the morning to late afternoon. But starting late 2013 (especially around Christmastime) the services went severely downhill. Provider name locked. has a policy that if a holiday occurs in a week, pickup later that week will be delayed by a day. But following Thanksgiving last year (2013), that "one day" Provider name locked. was a joke. Our pickup day was/is Friday, and SOMETIMES the pickup would occur on Saturday. But then it began to stretch to Monday, then Tuesday. Around and following Christmas 2013, a week or two went by without trash being picked up. As customers on the local BBB site have written, our neighborhood began to look like a landfill, with overflowing trash cans and waste blowing around the street and people's yards. But worse, when I tried to call to find out when they actually would pick up, no one would answer (even during stated business hours), and the voice mail was inevitably full. And even when I was able to leave a voice mail, it was a complete waste of breath for me, because Provider name locked. would never (and I do mean NOT ONCE) return my call even though I carefully gave them the service address and my phone number and name. They would either pick up later that that day or not, and it was anyone's guess which one it would be.
So when they again failed to pick up on that "next day" following the President's Day holiday, and the next day turn into the next and then the next again and the trash still sat on the Provider name locked. waiting for them, I called once more and left yet another voice mail, asking them to call me back. Fed up with the repeated problems, I told them that they needed to return my call this time or I could cancel my service. That was now two days, and they have not called me back, despite supposedly being open at this time.
I have just called another company and set up trash pickup with them. Ironically, when I called Provider name locked. just now to cancel--guess what... I got the full voice mail box!
I don't know what's going on with the owners or managers there, and I have no wish to kick someone when they're down, but it's become clear that they are incapable of providing the service--really, the one thing they are supposed to do--we pay them for. So the time has come to switch and move on.
