    Doctor Appliances
After a week my washer no longer works. It started doing the same thing it was. Now it's locked shut with clothes in it. I called and they were scheduled another appt to come look at it and never showed up or called. Now no one will return my calls or emails. I just threw away $280.00 and probably have a machine full of ruined laundry. Stay far far away from Dr. Appliance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Greenway Home Services
Nearly three weeks later and we are still waiting for a repair person, who may not show up like last week, and Greenway had the nerve to tell us they couldn't get anyone to our home until later in the next week. This is not our first incident with them, but we have to use them as they have a contract with American Home Shield. In our previous home, Greenway could not handle the problem and we had to get Sears to resolve the issue. Score: F-, or on a scale of 1-10, Greenway gets a 0.

    Contractors U.S.A.
Antonio Burton and his crony repairman Tim are scammers. If they call you hang up and don't give them any of your time. They will try to explain away the bad reviews they have received as they ask for half the money up front before they do the job. Don't pay them anything up front. I fell for their pay half up front request. I negotiated them down luckily. Once I paid that amount I never heard from them again. They are scammers and fraudsters. They never even went back to the tenant to schedule a time to come fix the problem. I have called both Antonio and Tim 100x. They're just ignoring me now that they have my money. Angie's list should be partially liable to pay me my money back because on Angie's list it says they are a trusted partner. Contractors U.S.A shouldn't even be allowed to be viewed as a trusted partner the way these guys do business

    Mr. Appliance of Memphis
He came out once, said that he fixed the problem. Nope, we lost another freezer-full of food. We called them back, he came out and said that it was the compressor and we needed to replace it. He quoted us $1000 for this. He came back to put in the new compressor-- then told us it would be $1300. Fine, whatever. Said that this was the only thing that could go wrong with the freezer, so it was fixed. Nope,we lost another freezer-full of food. The serviceman came back and said that he mistakenly didn't fill the freon last time, but now it was fixed. Nope. Waiting on the 4th visit, to get our money back, and get a new freezer probably. Each time we have had scheduling problem. We make an appointment, and then they call at a random time the day of or the day before our appointment and say that they are on their way-- at a time that is not within their 2 hour window. Today, when I called to make our 4th appointment, I was told that I could choose any time-- their schedule was open. So, when I called back 5 minutes later to change the appointment time, I was first told that "sure, the new time was fine." I then got a call back saying that I had talked to the answering service and they had the wrong information and that my new time was not available. I then got a phone message at the same time as I was talking with them, that my new time was available. WHEN THE HECK WILL THIS GUY ARRIVE-- IT IS ANYONE'S GUESS. Only use this company if you like being frustrated from start to finish!!!!!!!!! We will never use them again.

    Burns Appliance Repair
Our icemaker defied standard repair procedures. But then Mr. Burns virtually took the freezer apart, locating three loose wires at the bottom that were causing the problem. He replaced them with higher quality wires than were originally in the appliance. Our icemaker works perfectly now. Mr. Burns is a terrific appliance repairman and also very nice and responsive.

    The Appliance Man Inc
We needed a new range hood installed. I scheduled an appointment with the very helpful assistant. Mr. Burgess stopped by the morning of the appointment to make sure his crew was prepared. The two man crew did a meticulous job. Overall, a great experience and value for the price.

    Sears Appliance Repair
They were supposed to be there between 8 and 12 so I waited home all morning. They were late. I knew there was a diagnostic fee. He went to get a part and said it would be $210. That should have been a red flag. I should have realized I could get a new washer for not a whole lot more than that! So that was about 7 hours out of my day for this. When he left I went upstairs to wash clothes and it was doing the SAME thing. Plus I'm not real sure they serviced the dryer. It had lint on the filter still. I called and they sent the expert the next day. He was there a few hours. He ended up saying it was misdiagnosed and I got a refund of all the washer repair except the diagnostic fee. And said that it needed 3 more parts which would come to around $600! of course he wasn't recommending doing that. but still. If they would have refunded my diagnostic fee after all that headache I wouldn't be so angry. I've always used sears for my appliances, but NEVER again.

    RNT Appliance Repair
TERRIBLE!! He was prompt in calling and coming over to "assess" the problem, he required money up front to "pay for parts" and then never returned. We had MULTIPLE scheduled times for which he was a no-show; this took time from our work schedules requiring us to be home to wait for him when he didn't show. He wouldn't let us know that he was going to be a no-show, either...once the time window ended and we contracted him, sometimes he wouldn't even answer! This went on for about 3 weeks, we finally contacted another repair person, we bought the required parts (for the second time, since we paid for them with RNT but he never returned) and got the dishwasher fixed. He apparently has this as a practice, per reviews on the BBB website and we did find where he has been sought for civil action in the courts as well. He will be prompt with your initial call, he will provide an estimated cost for parts, take your money and never come back. He plays on honest people who have appliance issues after-hours. We would give him an F- if that was a possible grade. It's easier and quicker to flush your money down the toilet than call this guy. All told, we were out $300 (he was supposed to fix something minor on our refrigerator too). We have filed with the BBB complaint dept and will be filing with small claims court too if we don't get money back from him within 7 days.

    Mr. Appliance of Memphis
A technician diagnosed the issue as a defective door gasket, and a new gasket was ordered. The new gasket was installed several days later by the same tech; however, the leak started again within minutes after he left. Unwilling to pay for additional work without a clear diagnosis, we called Mr. Appliance and asked for a refund. Several calls were eventually initiated. (We were never allowed to talk with a manager, and a manager never called us back as promised.) The tech returned on the following week to confirm that the gasket did not correct the leak, and the new gasket was picked up by the tech several days later. While we did receive a partial refund check, we are several weeks older, $100.00 poorer, and without a usable dishwasher.

    Burns Appliance Repair
My fridge went out on Sunday. I called Burns at 8am Monday, and they were able to send someone out as soon as 11am. Everything was completely repaired by 12:30pm. I could not believe how quickly the issues was resolved. Highly recommend Burns and would hire again for sure!
