Brown Heating & Air Conditioning Inc
Jerry and his team did a great job using the space available on my residential lot to install a complicated product in a smaller space. Each team I worked with was very capable and professional. Communication can stand improvement. Specifics about the experience: The sales process was easy. You cannot control the weather, so understand there may be delays based on ground conditions for well digging. The well-digger's truck broke, but they communicated their plan with me and I was ok with it remaining in place for repairs. They took extra precautions to protect the tree that I asked them to preserve, which meant the world to me. They warned me about the weight of the truck, which could be a problem for residential concrete, and it was. Again, this was agreed to, and was the tradeoff i wanted instead of hurting the tree. Wells dug, it took a bit to get the equipment scheduled for install, but the well digger did put up additional temporary caution fencing to assist in limiting access to the field. The install was interrupted by the geothermal expert's wife's child birth. Absolutely fine to be out of work on parental leave, and that is important, but we were not warned that the progress would stop and our house was left without ac and without a call as to why. This is my main comment on communication. If something has to change about the plan, communication is key. Life happens, just let me know, and don't wait until I call you. Michelle in the office Jerry are very responsive, but a bit of proactivity would be very powerful in improving their business. Last piece of constructive criticism is to ensure you have more than one person who can install and service the geothermal installations. It is unfortunate that I had to pull a new father away from his family, and if the heat goes out on Christmas, I will have to do it all again. Certifying more workers and training them up allows for ross coverage and backups in the event of emergencies or multiple service calls/installations.

    Everdry Waterproofing Wisconsin
We are extremely satisfied with our work from Everdry. The work was completed as discribed and faster than expected. We have had no issues with water or moisture in our basement since its completion a year ago.

    Fahey Pump Sales And Service
I woke up to no running water and called them on a recommendation. We were worried our well pump had died. I was told they would be out in the morning, and they got there at noon, so that was a bummer, but once there it only took 15 minutes to fix. They swapped out the switch and I had water again. I'm very happy and would call them again.

    Badger Basement Systems
Everything went very well. My husband did the prep work they requested (removing paneling and drywall to 18 inches above the floor, cutting the wood studs to that level, and removing carpeting to six inches away from the wall). Two workers from Badger Basement came to our house and were completely done in only two hours. They jackhammered out the existing concrete slab, installed metal channels in the wall to drain any moisture out beyond the foundation, installed a sump pump in the room's closet, and poured fresh concrete to fill the new trench. All work done very professionally and thoroughly.

    Badger Basement Systems
Phase 1 is now complete -- the water control system was installed last week over the course of a day and a half. Everything has been stellar -- from the care and attention to detail of the rep (Scott) who came to do the initial quote, to communications with the office about scheduling, right up through the work of the prompt, knowledgeable, and friendly crew -- led by foreman Alan -- who got the job done smoothly. They graciously did a few extra things as well, like patching the concrete wall in spots we identified; and Alan reviewed the upcoming Phase 2 (installation of egress window, after the ground thaws) and determined that hand-digging will be necessary because our fencing will prohibit bringing in their equipment to our backyard. It was reassuring to have that addressed well in advance of the week the job will be done.

    Water Wells Inc
I was really impressed that they were able to always answer their phone and they came same day to help me. They explained everything to me so I felt well informed. I have an old, complicated house and they were able to troubleshoot and save my well. I would definitely use them again. I feel the price was fair for the amount of work they did (had to come twice to finish it). I now have excellent water pressure, my pump is fixed and I have way more knowledge about the way wells work than I thought possible.

    The Pump Connection

He supposedly inspected the well but it was dark outside and he never exited his vehicle. Instead he made tire marks on my lawn up to the well. He left a pipe leaking on the interior portion of the well and blamed it on the pipe sweating. He came back to inspect the leak and was very rude that we questioned his shoddy workmanship. Rather than fix the leak he suggested we put a fan on the pipes to dry up the water, insisting there was no leak when there actually was. Rather than deal with his condescending attitude I paid someone else to fix the leak.

Also on his bill he charged me for 4.5 hrs. of work when he was only in my house for 3 hours. This was a separate charge from the trip charge.

    Dry Otter Basement Waterproofing LLC
We were very pleased with Dry Otter's work. Some specifics:
    * We liked the fact that the two co-owners, Nick and Jonathan, were involved throughout the process, from estimate to completion of the work. Nick came twice beforehand to discuss the job and gave us valuable advice on the advance preparations that would be needed. In contrast to the two other businesses we considered, he didn't try to sell us products we weren't interested in (e.g., an expensive dehumidifier).
    * Once we decided on Dry Otter, we were able to get on the schedule relatively quickly (1 month).
    * We were dreading what we thought would be two days of jackhammering and extensive concrete dust. Instead, six men finished the job in a day and a half with remarkably little mess. Nick was on the job the first day, and Jonathan, both days, which instilled confidence that the job would be done right.
We've been assured that we can now get the drywall back on the walls and install new carpeting with no worry about future moisture in the basement. We're hopeful that this is right.

    Time 2 Remodel LLC
Very well. Curt and Janean were very prompt. The time between our initial meeting for an estimate and having a written contract in hand was less than a week! That blew us away. With other contractors we considered weeks and months would go by making you think, "Are they really busy, or do they not care for the work?"
We had a few changes to the initial contract, including taking Curt's recommendation to resurface the fireplace. Curt's mason wasn't just a mason he was an artist. Our new gas insert fireplaces look great and are getting a lot of work keeping us warm. We added a 200 amp panel and subtracted built in cabinetry. Curt and his sub contractors were very prompt and courteous and once the demolition started someone was working every week if not more.
    Highly recommended!

    Dry Otter Basement Waterproofing LLC
I called Dry Otter because I suspected that my drainage system was not working properly. I was given an appointment within a couple of days. Nick came out and assessed my basement and actually suggested that I try Roto Rooter as a first step. Roto Rooter was not able to reach the entire system, so Dry Otter installed 6 access pipes, replaced my old sump pump, and revised my sump well. All work was completed on time and on budget. The crew was respectful and very competent, and cleaned up after the cement work. I am very pleased with the work and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them .
