AIt went really well. Alberto and Ajara are extremely responsive. You always run into problems with remodels. It’s all about how you handle them and Alberto was awesome. Every time something came up he called or met us at the house and we talked through the different solutions. Alberto then promptly executed the solution we agreed upon. One of the best things that KBS did was give us a calendar of events with a timeline. It’s one thing to give a timeline and it’s another thing to stick to it. They started and finished on the given dates. Yeah it took working a couple saturdays to stay on track but that didn’t bother us. They got our project done in a month and were willing to work within our budget.- Mark S.

DKitchen & Bath LLC are incompetent plumbers, poor project planners, and OK bathroom tilers. Plumbing problems started during the planning phase, when they told me the sink did not need a an overflow, but I didn't think that was right, so I ordered one with an overflow. Thankfully I was correct, since the sink that they sell does have an overflow. I imagine other customers may have had big problems with the overflow after following their bad advice. I had to purchase the bath tub and bath fixtures. We had asbestos glue under the tile and a tub coated with lead, so I had an abatement company due the demo since Kitchen & Bath did not seem to have the expertise to do it. They claimed they could do it, but did not provide any licensing IDs for asbestos and lead removal. These additional costs are not included in the services provided by Kitchen & Bath and reviewed here. On the other hand, I removed the old plastic tub/shower wall cover and installed the mirror and light by myself. After the demo occurred, it was obvious that the plywood floor needed to be replaced. Alberto argued that they could install new plywood on top, but I disagreed. Mold and rot were a big problem, so I wanted it replaced. He delayed the project by 1 week because he was going on vacation and didn't trust his workers to take the floor out correctly without him around. No one from the company arrived at the time they said they would (early the first day, always late after). I work from home, and there was one day where I told them I had an appointment at 10:30, so they needed to show up before 10:30. They arrived at 10:30, when I was walking into the doctor's office. When I called the project lead (and owner) Alberto back after my appointment, he was incredibly rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful. The tiling install guy was late by a few hours and worked until after 8 pm. I have 2 kids and I could not get them ready for bed while this guy was working. The drywall and paint guy always showed up several hours late and could never arrive at a specified time. One day the guys showed up to work for an hour and then left for the day. The project should have taken 9 days but took two weeks because of these late starts and poorly planned work days. There are several small defects that a good contractor would have fixed or avoided, like scraped paint or chipped cabinet surface. These were minor. Every plumbing fixture leaked after the install was complete: the shower, sink handles, and toilet, in that order. I had my own plumber fix it due to Kitchen & Bath's continued incompetence in this area, costing over $250. I am very angry that we decided to remodel the bathroom due to lead and water damage, only to have them improperly install the plumbing, potentially causing water damage. I forgot to get the certificate of insurance before starting the project, and when I asked for it after, they never responded. My insurance agent also asked for it, and they never responded. Now there's a BBB complaint, with still no resolution. I just want the insurance certificate. So if anyone is going to hire them to do anything, only let them do tiling. Hire your own plumber. And if you can, set a daily schedule in the contract.- Chris S.

AI can't say enough good things about Kitchen and Bath Solutions! The customer service I received right from the very first phone call was incredible. I worked with Ajara, one of their designers, and she responded to every question, and every email immediately. I was so impressed with how quickly she got back to me with every single question I had, and I had a lot. Also, she was very helpful and extremely knowledgeable when it came to helping me design our new shower. Ajara suggested tiles, colors, shower door closures, etc., but she really listened to what I wanted, she didn't push her ideas on me. I liked how she was there to give her professional opinion. I really leaned on her design eye and her experience. She's seen hundreds of remodels, so there were times when I went with her experience. That being said, when it came to colors or tile styles, I never felt pressured to pick what she liked best. I appreciated that Ajara listened to what I liked, but was there to steer me back if my ideas got a little off course. The other thing that I was most impressed with was the impeccable work of the crew. The men who came out to work on our shower were truly masters at their craft. I am a perfectionist to a fault, but I can honestly say, that the work these men did is 10-star! I would come home, and be amazed every time. The tile and grout work, the seat and shelves, the placement of the grab bars, installation of the shower system, and gorgeous glass shower doors, really are a work of art! Lastly, I'd like to comment on the professionalism of everyone who works for Alberto at Kitchen and Bath Solutions. They gave me a timeline, and they stuck to it. Alberto, the owner, was so good at contacting me about what day they'd be out, and what they were going to accomplish that day. The crew was respectful of my woodwork and my floors throughout our house as they demolished the 32yr. old bathtub enclosure, and as they spent the next eight days or so in and out of the house. I always prefer to work with a local, small business whenever I'm doing any kind of work on our home, and boy am I glad I found Kitchen and Bath Solutions to create the shower of my dreams!- Martha W.

FThis contractor is a nightmare to work with. Please listen to my warning. I have worked with two different contractors in the past seven years. Hennick is unprofessional, disrespectful and has terrible communication skills. He refused to be onsite when a counter top was installed and I was left to direct the subcontractor who told me they had installed 1,000's of counter tops, but had never done it when the contractor was not onsite to supervise. The sub had to cut the counter top onsite because Hennick did not provide instructions and it put the sub and me in a bad situation. The sub he hired to texture the walls did a horrible job with huge patches of texture right next to huge patches of no texture. It was completely uneven, yet Hennick never said anything. I brought up that I was dissatisfied with the work of the sub and he got angry and asked what I wanted to do. Hennick did not offer solutions. I had to demand it be redone. He underestimated the entire job and then proceeded to up charge me. He quit the job then the next day asked when he could get in to finish the job. It was like dealing with a petulant child the entire time, but worse. I made a list of all the problems I experienced, explained how he treated me disrespectfully, overcharged me and asked for financial restitution, but he refused. I now have to pay someone else to finish the job. Hire at your own risk.- ellen R.

AAlberto and Elizabeth helped us through a complicated remodeling of two bathrooms with title suggestions, a quality vanity and quartz vanity top as well as trying to schedule the work to be completed in a timely fashion. While it took longer than expected, each crew of workers tried their best to make the job right including some things that had to be redone. The final results, which included removing one wall and rebuilding a shower stall in one bathroom, are dramatic and beautiful. I would recommend this company.- George j.

AOur project went very well. After interviewing other builders we selected Maple Tree based on their responsiveness and competitive pricing. Ron was very helpful in providing floor plans to maximize our use of space. He also provided some design suggestions when asked. He was great at providing options at various price points so we could prioritize our budget. He coordinated with subcontractors to ensure quality and timely work. He was always professional and left his work space clean. Ron responded to changes throughout the process and helped us achieve the finished product we wanted. We receive many compliments on the space he helped us create.- Kory F.

AThis is the first time we’ve used the Webster company, and it won’t be the last if we other remodels. Although a knock-on-wood “find” on Angie’s List, we couldn’t have been more pleased with every aspect of the job. The owner, Mike, clearly cared about our satisfaction because he started by meeting us at the supplier to guide us through the selection of all materials, colors and fixtures. The demolition started right on time and final touches ended a little quicker than he predicted. His crew, come of whom he said have been with him for decades, were clearly professional, friendly and enormously talented and efficient. Despite hauling things in and out over a period of days, they were meticulous in cleaning up every day and leaving our bathroom as usable as possible. Mike kept us informed at every stage of the project, and was faithfully responsive if we contacted him, but the truth is that we rarely felt the need – he is a good manager and anticipated our every need. It’s nice to enjoy a beautifully tiled shower that has more class and features than we imagined at first, but it’s especially nice to realize a nice upgrade with a contractor who is as nice a guy as you’ll ever meet.- Bill F.

AWe were so impressed by how hard the folks at KBS worked. They were dedicated to staying on our tight schedule and showed up on weekends, the 4th of July, and generally worked late. They were incredibly respectful of our space and and belongings and even helped move heavy furniture out of the way during the renovation. As happens with any major renovation, when we ran into snags Alberto and crew were up front about what happened and fixed the problem. It is clear that Alberto takes a lot of pride in his work and it shows in the final product. They have a fairly limited selection of cabinets, but that also means that they can offer them at reasonable prices. After a couple months of use, we're really happy with the quality. KBS was also very willing to let us mix and match materials we found elsewhere (faucets, hardware) with what they had in stock. Very easy to work with.- Erin H.

AWe had a good experience. Janean was very helpful and communicative, gave us good advice when picking out all the different items, and kept the job running smoothly. She was very clear on when we were choosing things that would go above our budget, and the price at the end was not a surprise. Their employees and subcontractors were professional, competent, and fun to talk to. We are very happy with our new kitchen!- ryan b.

AI needed to upgrade my old kitchen cabinets and have flooring installed and Caliber did an excellent job. They responded quickly to my inquiries, gave me detailed quotes, and walked me through the many options I had for wood, fixtures, etc. Nate, the carpenter, was terrific. Friendly and professional, always on time, very detailed and meticulous in his work, cleaned up every afternoon before he left for the day. He even re-installed the blinds I needed to remove to have some moldings replaced. I have no hesitation recommending Caliber cabinetry.- Susan R.
